Stepahnie was one of the best host we every had! The place itself was exactly what we needed and it was perfect for our toddler with all the outdoor space and all the toys and equipment we needed for him (baby bed, baby chair, etc). We will be back for sure and I will recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a great place near Cognac.

Sophie and Craig were the perfect hosts, they were so friendly and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. There was a welcoming (and much appreciated) basket of goodies waiting for us on our arrival and a bottle of wine in the fridge. The gite was just as described and the perfect place to unwind. Lovely views throughout the meadow and surrounding area, the natural pool was a delight. The chickens provided fresh eggs for breakfast and the dogs, Roo and Ted are adorable. We would totally recommend this place and we will definitely return. Kim and Carol

Perfect, perfect, perfect! We have had the most amazing week at Lilac Cottage! Phil & Maggie were amazing hosts, very attentive, and absolutely lovely. The cottage was gorgeous with all the amenities you could need. The pool area was also lovely and private and the selection of pool toys went down a treat with the kids. Maggie was always on hand if we needed any recommendations of where to go to see the local area . Overall a fantastic stop off as part of our mini French adventure. Would highly recommend!

An amazing property in a peaceful location. Erica and Dave welcomed us and made us feel at home immediately and were on hand for any help we needed. The renovations are to a high standard and make for a comfortable and well appointed stay. The pool is massive. The covered outdoor areas are great for when the weather isn't behaving itself and the hot-tub is perfect to relax in. Plenty of towns and villages to explore nearby, with La Rochelle and Bordeaux not too far away. Lots of "vide-greniers' in the area to visit on a Sunday when most other things are closed.

Stunning gite in a beautiful, quiet location. Equipped with everything you need and very clean. Amanda and Robin were on hand if we needed anything but not intrusive. Lots of info on local attractions and beautiful garden to sit in. Safe for our dog too! Would definitely recommend Amanda’s gite and will be staying here again.

Second stay at Turea's, always a pleasure to be hosted by Turea and Allan, flexibility in terms of schedules we arrived Wednesday around 2am, the gate was well open and Turea was very responsive to the messages I send her, the explanations were clear for our arrival at the accommodation. The cottage is still as quiet as 1 year ago a game of pétanque and a billiards table was made available to us. In conclusion, Turea and Allan, are made for this: A flexible welcome, quiet and discreet hosts, present when needed, a quiet, peaceful and super spacious environment! I would recommend it 100%

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! The house provided us with everything we needed! It was very cosy, nicely decorated and clean! All kinds of equipment to cook, basics such as coffee and milk and other snacks and drinks were also available upon our arrival, we felt so welcome! The message on the blackboard was heart-warming;-). There were all kinds of extras such as a whole collection of DVDs and books, toys for kids all ages, ... The pool was magnificent, just big enough for a refreshing dive or just having fun in the water. The garden was also very nice, well equipped (and safe for kids!), the patio next to the barn very cosy and relaxing! Last but not least, I would like to give a special thanks to Lesley, the lovely house keeper, who provided us with everything we needed (and quickly!), she made us feel very welcome. We had a wonderful weekend. The house, garden and bar/billiards room were great, very comfortable and well equipped. Everything was perfect, the exchanges were very pleasant, and the kindness of the hosts really made a difference. I recommend it without a second thought! We hope to be able to return sometime!

Excellent stay in a clean and accessible accommodation with PMR amenities. Near the Futuroscope and the other Vienna treasures. Sandra remained available throughout our stay but everything was perfect. We appreciated the little touches and accessories available. We highly recommend this apartment!
