Within walking distance (about 600 m) is the river Le Gartempe, where there are plenty of places to take a refreshing dip. The cyclist can also indulge. For the mountain biker (possibly available), touring cyclist and recreational cyclist, there are countless possibilities through the woods, along the river or through the countryside. For the hikers among us, the possibilities are endless. For the horseback riders, there is a riding school a few kilometers away. Beautiful accommodation located in a historic building (known as the "Camp of the Cloth of Gold"). You'll be captivated by its breathtaking view of the 12th-century Palace of the Dukes of Aquitaine and its view of the medieval town center. Everything you need for an ideal stay will be provided and we will be happy to accommodate your needs at any time! Please note, it is located on the 4th floor (the view and brightness come at a price...), and is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.

This traditional stone built villa sits in the centre of the village opposite a 17th century church, with free parking and EV (Sorégies) charging point. The local bar/shop is a two minute walk. Villa Lierre is 5 mins from a large supermarket at L’Isle Jourdain. The Circuit du Val de Vienne is 15 minutes away by car. There are historic towns to explore nearby, and the river Vienne is a short walk through the village.
