What a lovely wing of a beautiful, artfully decorated old house. We loved the out door kitchen BQ area and the lovely homemade rolls and marmalade for breakfast each morning with fresh coffee. Beautiful garden to explore and our dog was made very welcome. Our hosts were friendly and very helpful. Parking too! 😀

A great stay and perfect breakfast! A nice bed and good shower in a particularly atmospheric farmhouse in a quiet natural green environment. Iris is doing great, communicates nicely and I would love to come back.

Dear Linda, We enjoyed a thoroughly delightful stay at your b&b. The scenery was picturesque: an old Dutch farmhouse with a thatched roof set in a beautiful Dutch countryside. I got up for an early morning run and taking in the surrounding area was just a perfect way to start my day. Running among the canals and bridges and breathing the fresh morning air made me forget that I was running. Then I came back to a most satisfying breakfast: scrambled eggs, jam on toast, and wonderful coffee. Thank you so much for giving us an experience that we will never forget. very nice stay at Mia's. I didn't get to see m'y host a lot as Î was travelling for work but I really enjoyed the room. Small but ver confortable and cosy

This was the perfect end to my vacation ❤️ Despite the fact that no one else was there, I was served a delicious full breakfast in my up, made with love! Beds sleep great, and it was wonderfully clean 😀 Super nice received by Gonnie and Richard. The perfect address for when I miss the last boat home again! Siska was a great host from the beginning, she was very friendly and welcoming! The room is light and spacious and had everything I needed. The house is not too far from the city center and is easy to reach. Even more so if you rent a bicycle - which I recommend, because Groningen is a great city to discover by bike. :) Oh, and Siska's breakfast is delicious, you don't want to miss it. Thank you for a great week in Groningen, and tot de volgende!

Rosetta was so welcoming, helpful and genuinely interested in making our experience comfortable. She went above and beyond to help us get my elderly mother’s luggage in as we were unable to get luggage storage we had planned. Our breakfast was amazing. She made me special and delicious low carb options as I had dietary needs. The bedrooms were very comfortable, everything was so nice. I would stay here again in a second.

Hèléne is a very sweet and enthusiastic hostess! With a very nice house where you stay in your own part. Bathroom en suite, delicious breakfast with fresh strawberries from our own garden. Absolutely recommended.

I have a lot of admiration for Aagje. She provided a very nice room and made me feel at home.

What lovely surrounding. On an event site, really a student neighborhood that doesn't bother you much. Cottage surrounded by nature. Not a very large terrain, but plenty of privacy. Very clean and very nicely decorated. There has been a lot of time getting all these fun attributes. The peacocks are good guard dogs. Thank you for this wonderful zen environment. We will definitely come back.

Rob and his team are the nicest people you can meet in groningen. The place is like an oasis full of beautiful nature and animals. It ist quiet and perfekt to relax, but at the same time it is not far from the city. 5/5

Fantastic place to stay! Extremely friendly, welcoming hosts, who were also so great that they wanted to pick us up and take us to the Friese Woudenpad we walked! Beautiful quiet place with spotless and stylish room and "living room/kitchen", very warm welcome with drink, also extra possibility to order drinks/snacks, and of course the garden! Especially a piece of garden for guests, including campfire pit and gazebo. Oh and within walking distance of supermarket, restaurant and bus stop. What else do you want? In one word, great!❤️ We'll definitely be back sometime 😀

the place is a bit outside the city. i liked the cosy way, the living/kitchen area is furnished. the entire areal has a very positive vibe (animals running around, very green). the hut was simple but had everything I needed. mine had its own little porch, which would be perfect for another visit in summer. The location is next to a club but with earplugs, I didn't mind. overall, I liked my stay.

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful room! It was even more stunning and well-organized than the photos. The interior design was tasteful and elegant, with so much attention to detail throughout the house and room — it truly felt special. Located in the heart of nature, it offered the perfect mix of comfort and peace. The apartment was fully equipped — a complete kitchen with tea, coffee, utensils, and thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. There was an optional paid service for meal preparation and snacks, plus a generous complimentary breakfast. One of my favorite parts was the outdoor seating in the backyard garden — a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating. Knowing I had to leave early due to travel plans, they kindly woke up at 5 AM to prepare breakfast for me and pack it to-go. That level of care truly stood out. Highly recommended — I’d absolutely love to return!
