House holiday rentals in Leeuwarden

We were there in June, four of us – despite the rain and colder temperatures, we were able to enjoy our stay thanks to the sauna and the heated pool, which was our highlight! We were very warmly welcomed, the accommodation is really great – we can only recommend it and will definitely come back. The adjacent forest is great for walking and Groningen and Leeuwarden are each just under 30 minutes away by car.

The dune house is a wonderful place to spend a relaxing time on Ameland. Located directly on the dunes, you can experience the nature of the island in all its facets. The house is tastefully decorated and has everything you need for a relaxed stay. Geertje is a great host and communication with her was very pleasant. We will be happy to come back and can absolutely recommend a stay dune house!

We had a very nice stay as a family in the very spacious house. The large living room was particularly nice, the kitchen offers everything you need. Jaap was very helpful, gave us tips and was very flexible with a late check-out. The area is wonderfully quiet and idyllic.

We enjoyed the time very much and did many small bike rides. The accommodation is beautiful, quiet and very idyllically located. However, we would not stay in the property again with 5 adults. The loft bed is more suitable for children and unfortunately we were not able to sleep so well, as there was no air coming up under the roof at night (despite the open window) and it became very warm and stuffy. With children, you can definitely recommend the accommodation! :)

We had two beautiful days at the house. It is quiet. There are also two supermarkets in the village. There is a lot to do in the region. But the house also invites you to linger. Both saunas were really great. We'll be sure to recommend

The location and the house certainly contributed to the beautiful memories we made during our annual getaway with sisters, mother, brother and aunt!

We had a great time in this beautiful cottage in the countryside. The welcome was very warm, the cottage was clean and very characterful. We completely relaxed and the jacuzzi was great. We expected the pool to be open, but in the end we had a great time swimming in the Canada lake and with long walks. Highly recommended for anyone looking for beautiful nature and tranquility.

We had a great time in Sneek and the accommodation was just perfect for us. Plenty of space, everything you need was available and really tasteful and yet practical. The terrace and the whirlpool are special highlights and Petra spoiled us with small snacks and cold drinks on arrival. The location of the house is great, you can walk very quickly to the city center with many restaurants as well as the supermarket and yet it is quiet and we were able to sleep relaxed. We were also allowed to use the bicycles and took a small tour. All around beautiful!

Nice holiday home! We were there with 5 adults and had a very nice weekend. The house is large enough for 5 people. There are 3 large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Neatly furnished and equipped with all comforts. Very quiet area with views of the meadows. You can sit outside at a large table. Two cars fit in the driveway.

Booked for 4 nights to start discovering Friesland as a base. Excellent reception, Mario and Mona are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Very warm people and got some useful tips. The home is beautiful and stylishly decorated. In addition, good beds and everything was sparkling clean.

We had a wonderful week. The house has all the comforts, including a very nice kitchen. The sun in the front garden was also nice, where we could have had a quiet breakfast. The location is nice and quiet, so we were really able to sleep very well. In the area we enjoyed the nature, the tranquility and the friendly people. The reception was warm and personal, even our dog Bettie received a warm welcome. All in all recommended, we will definitely come back there. Finally, I would also like to mention Dokkum, a very nice town with special shops and good restaurants. Thank you Coen and Anne (and Marianne) for this beautiful, nice week. The house is stunning, equipped, kitchen, rooms, all the facilities are of a high standard. Very suitable for family. The area is quiet and green, birds chirping, a real pleasure for nature lovers. The hosts are available for any questions, help, and recommendations at an exceptional level.

A beautiful stay in a top location. Within walking distance of the cozy center. The house has a cozy sunny garden. The house was also super clean and tastefully decorated. We had a great weekend!

We spent two relaxing days and nights as a family in the cute cottage in Terhakle. The cottage is even prettier in reality than in the photos, the beds are very comfortable, everything was very tidy and clean and we lacked nothing. The environment is very quiet, pure nature! From here you can reach many pretty Frisian towns like Sneek in a few minutes by car. We will definitely come back!!!

What an excellent house to stay. Very great surroundings, quiet and beautiful stargazing at nights. Close enough for travelling around Friesland and/or visiting the isles of Ameland/Schiermonnikoog. The house itself has all features you need. Great kitchen, very good beds and big badroom. Highly recommended for a stay.

Upon arrival, we were extremely surprised by the beautiful house and the special decor. Everything was right. As the cherry on the cake, we looked out over the wonderful garden. Everything was super clean and very tasteful.

We loved our stay with Mandy! The place was exactly as described. She gave us many local recommendations and was very accommodating and helpful. We loved being in a small secluded town. Short drives to ferry for island visiting and short drive to for restaurants other than the lovely pub in town.

Had a nice stay with Helen and Haitze, very hospitable welcome. Quiet, rural location with attention to flora and fauna. Close to the beach but also to cities such as Harlingen and Franeker, so an ideal place.

Great place well worth while if you stay a number of days I was in Harlingen for 10 day and stayed at Michiel place for 5 nights I would have stayed a 6th but I mis calculated my days sign

We enjoyed our stay and had a fantastic time in Midwolde. It was easy to start our bike tours from here. The sauna and all other amenities were outstanding! A very tasteful intererior design. The beds were so comfortable, we really enjoyed our stay!

We had a wonderful stay in Dronrijp. The house is very comfortable for 8 guests. The kitchen is well equipped. We would have loved to take advantage of the outside terraces, but the weather didn't cooperate. Great location for participating in the Fiets Elfstedentocht. Thanks for letting us stay in your home!
