Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Livingston County

The cottage was perfect for our stay. It was an amazing spot on Ryan Lake. The cottage was very roomy and clean. Anna was always responsive. The stairs were a bit steep but wasn't a problem for us. Thankfully there was a bedroom downstairs that worked great for our 80 year old Dad. He said staying at the cottage was the best part of his trip. He loved sitting and watching the birds in the yard and on the lake. It's really a hidden gem.

Really great airbnb! It was spacious, clean and well kept and the kitchen was the best stocked of any rental we've stayed in. Melinda was a great host and super responsive to any questions or needs. Will definitely stay again when we visit Howell.

Thank you, Amanda for such a wonderful place and in an experience for my family. We were coming on a visit for a shower on Saturday that my niece was having up in Fenton and at first thought maybe we booked too far away. Number one it could’ve been an hour away and it would’ve been worth it and it actually ended up only being 20 minutes away. Also, we got to take the boys out while the girls were at the shower to the shops, the outlet shops. Everything was fantastic.

It’s my first AirB&B, it is a lake cottage, reminiscent of a time when life was not complicated. A time when vacation meant making memories that would last a lifetime. It was well furnished,and very comfortable. There are lounge chairs in the front closet and a fire pit in the back yard. At the residence we were only steps from the water’s edge.

We were in town for our son's wedding and we wanted a place that was comfortable, close to everywhere we needed to go, and where we could host small family gatherings in town for the wedding. This was the perfect place. It's a beautiful location, quiet and when the weather was nice and we had down time, we enjoyed the lake. Tyler our host was not only responsive, but proactive in reaching out to us to make sure that our stay at the Black Marlin was as comfortable as possible. He helped make our stay stress free, so we could focus on the wedding. I can't recommend this property and this host enough!

I had a fantastic stay at Audra’s house! From the start, she was incredibly responsive and kind—always quick to answer any questions and offer helpful suggestions for local services. The house itself was spotless, well-organized, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into maintaining and equipping the space. I highly recommend staying here and would absolutely book again!

We enjoyed our stay here very much! The access was as described, and the setting was peaceful and wooded while being accessible to Kroger and other helpful stores a five-minute drive away. The hosts were especially accommodating, proactive, and responsive when we had questions. It was a perfect location for us and an excellent size for two people. Loved the little ramp going down to a picturesque lake. Two deer gave us a peaceful farewell on our last day. :)

My husband and I stayed here right after our wedding. Just a little getaway after all the fun and craziness. The Airbnb was beautiful and exactly like described in the description and photos! It had a sauna, a beautiful bathroom with a separate shower and tub, and a beer on tap, which was a fun little bonus! The balcony was our favorite part. We sat outside in the mornings with a coffee and enjoyed the views (and honestly the people watching lol). The lake is literally across the street and the 3 minute walk was awesome. Overall a wonderful experience! Highly recommend if you need a quick getaway or want to treat yourself to a more “high tech” luxury apartment 🥰

Really enjoyed this place! The bed was by far the most comfy air bnb bed I’ve slept in. Hosts were very responsive and flexible for an early check-in.

Kathy's home is absolutely lovely. The furnishings were beautiful and the home was well-equipped for our stay. The yard has so many pretty flowers and was serene. Cassandra was super awesome😌 I made a long drive from the bottom of the states and the house was very welcoming. Any issues or questions I had, she was very responsive and thorough especially considering I was unfamiliar with the area. I enjoyed my stay and felt safe (solo woman traveler). Laura was an amazing host! We felt right at home, and the place was spotless. She answered our messages and assisted us with the bonfire. My daughters had an amazing time, we were sad that due to our limited time we couldn’t do the rope course at her property. If we visit Michigan again, we’d definitely stay here!

Great place to stay, safe and peaceful Nice kitchen. Air conditioning and heat and simple front door locking system. Suggest addressing the low pressure water system in the bathrooms.

This is my perfect 1-night stay for business travels. Everything was identified upfront, a small private parking lot was nice and the parking was labelled based on the apartment I rented... it happened to be raining hard, and it was nice there was a small roof over the parking lot so I didn't get wet. I didn't have to contact the host once, which is normally a good thing. Recommended.

The small fenced area was perfect when having a dog stay with me. However, having a reactive dog in an apartment was not my best idea. She was not used to all the little noises around us, so she did bark more often than planned. Hauling her crate to the apartment was also more of a journey than I thought. Otherwise, perfect amount of eating/drinking utensils and the bathroom was so nice to use! The mattress was perfect to sleep on as well. I would definitely use this space again, but either without my pup or when she gets older and more calm.

Great Ann Arbor location and beautiful, peaceful setting! This is a lovely place and we had a great time. Super walkable to central campus, big house, and to all the restaurants / shopping in the downtown area. Having a parking space / garage is convenient but you definitely do NOT need a car here. Great kitchen, comfy bed, all is exactly as pictured and very very clean! Would love to stay here again ❤️

This is a beautiful home with all the necessities. Home was very clean and comfortable in a quiet community. Enjoyed our stay.

A great location so close to Downtown Milford. The 2 bedroom condo was very nice and had a nice remodeled kitchen with new hard woods throughout the house. There was plenty of parking with nice restaurant's easily in walking distance. Would totally stay here again when traveling to Milford.

Gretchen's place was awesome! She had everything we need and more for a relaxing stay. I always judge a place by bedding and towels...she spent the extra money and it makes a big difference! We used the rental as a meeting place when we were all in town for our mother's funeral. We could have used a few more outdoor chairs but that's it. We will stay here again. Thank you Gretchen!

My husband and I stayed here for an event in downtown Ann Arbor. The unit was in a great location and walk-able to everything. I even took a walk down to the Big House which was less than a mile away. So many good restaurants; We highly recommend Echelon Kitchen & Bar on Main Street. The condo is a perfect size for two people and we would love to stay here again!

The unit is immaculate with great quality linens, bedding and furniture. It is a great place to stay in Ann Arbor with nothing overlooked.

5⭐️I was a first timer to the app and honestly i was really lucky to have kimberly as my host. She was very responsive and clear with instructions. Me and my cousins loved the condo and we were very close to so many things. highly recommend it! If you are a looking of a perfectly nice condo to stay over, don’t look any further! Thank you again.
