Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Long Island

We had a lovely stay at Karine’s cute house! The kitchen was very nicely outfitted, beds were super comfortable, and the big wood-burning fireplace was excellent! We appreciated all the cool artwork around the house, and Karine’s wonderful photography book! We got to enjoy lots of bird life, and we were lucky to have a bit of snow. What a beautiful and peaceful spot. We can’t wait to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the pool and lovely big deck and yard!

great location and loved the backyard

We had a wonderful weekend stay at Eileen's beautiful waterfront home. The view from the living room and primary bedroom of the water was so peaceful. The kitchen was well appointed and the cozy living room made for a wonderful family gathering spot when we weren't dining out at the fabulous nearby restaurants, visiting wineries, or viewing local scenery. Eileen was incredibly responsive to small questions we had. We would definitely book again!!

We loved staying here! It was so nice to go to the private beach. It was in a great location and neighborhood was quiet. He was very responsive and helpful when me or someone from my group asked a question. The house was very clean and we loved the nespresso! It makes me want to buy one for my house lol

Lovely setting in the woods. We loved the layout, including many windows with beautiful views. Quiet neighborhood that is very walkable. Seeing baby deer in the spring was an unexpected bonus. Spacious bedrooms with extremely comfy beds. Host responded quickly when we had an issue. The private beach is a fantastic feature and easy to access. Check in and check out were super easy.

We had a wonderful time at Nathalia’s beautiful home for our couple’s weekend getaway. The house is thoughtfully renovated with stylish finishes, comfortable spaces, and plenty of room to relax and connect. It’s clear a lot of love went into making the space welcoming and cozy. Nathalia was a responsive and gracious host throughout the entire process. Communication was easy, and she made sure we had everything we needed for a smooth stay. Our stay was very pleasant. Francesca communicated well and make things easy for us. The pool house seems new, and is nice for an extra bedroom if needed. The house was clean, sheets and bedding were also clean. Would recommend staying here!

The apartment was beautiful and exactly as described. It was newly renovated, clean, easy to locate, and in a prime location. We met Graham when we got there. He was outside working on more renovations, and he became a friendly face and helpful resource throughout our stay. The patio was definitely worth it. It was so peaceful and serene to just sit in the hot tub and stare off at the creek and mountains. The less than 10 minute walk to town on the abandoned tracks was so easy, romantic, and fun. This is a great place to stay for couples or families!

Sal is a gracious host! Linens were clean and soft. Parking is tricky but Sal had great recommendations. Unit is tastefully remodeled. Cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in!

Kathy has a beautiful, well kept, comfortable place. Every detail thought of, has everything you need at your home away from home for your stay. Location perfect and lots to offer close by in a safe, picturesque neighborhood.

I had a great time staying here. A lovely and quiet retreat. Douglas and his family were very friendly and responsive to any needs I had. The place was tidy and clean and the grounds around the house were beautiful! Will definitely be back!

A+++ listing. We had a great stay in Ada’s condo. The location was excellent, it was a mile from Mohegan Sun, in a quiet and peaceful setting with many amenities. The king bed was super comfortable, the condo was really well stocked with everything you need. There was a private back balcony with pretty plants. Ada was a lovely host. She is very pleasant with excellent communication. I would highly recommend staying at her property.

George was an excellent Air BnB host!!!! His responses were prompt and answered any questions we had. The location was ideal in Greenport as everything was walking distance. We had an amazing time!

This home, and its amazing history, far exceed the image we got from the description. It’s absolutely incredible, and it was very clean, better than many expensive hotels I’ve stayed in. For a group (we were there for West Point Graduation with family & friends), it’s just totally ideal! Everyone in our group loved it. And Richard was extremely helpful and gracious. I wish I had found this house a few years earlier! Highly recommend for a hotel type stay, or for an event space, retreat, etc.

My girlfriends and I absolutely loved our girls trip at Natalia’s in Princeton!! She has a beautiful, spacious home, well-furnished and had plenty of bathroom space for the 5 of us. I was so pleasantly surprised by how quiet and peaceful the area was. The backyard is large and scenic with trees and shrubbery that make the space feel quite private. The large windows in the foyer and back sliding doors also let in such beautiful natural light. Natalia was an awesome host, checking in proactively and always anticipating our needs. We had such a wonderful stay at Ann Marie’s Airbnb! From the moment we booked, she was incredibly kind and responsive, making everything so easy and welcoming. The house itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had every amenity we could possibly need — it truly felt like a home away from home. The location was perfect — close enough to town that everything was easily accessible, but just far enough out that we avoided all of the typical Hamptons traffic. We even walked around the neighborhood every morning! We couldn’t have asked for a better balance of convenience and tranquility. Highly recommend this stay, as someone who frequents the hamptons — we’d come back in a heartbeat!

My family and I were lucky enough to stay at Jenna’s over Memorial Day Weekend. The house was even better than the pictures, if that’s possible. Very clean, and beautifully presentable. Everything was clean and ready for us, and Jenna had genuinely everything we could have possibly needed. Jenna was extremely communicative even leading up to our stay. Hope to stay again sometime soon!

very nice home, clean, easy to find felt like home very accomodating

We had a wonderful time. The weather was perfect. The view of the water was everything and was accessible from nearly every room. The home was modern and easily accommodated our large group. Yet it was cozy and beautifully appointed with all the amenities you would ever want. It is ideal for children with every toy imaginable. There was a highchair and a pack and play for our toddler and child appropriate dishes. The kitchen was fully equipped and had 2 sinks, 2 dishwashers and 3 tables for dining. The beautiful pool and hot tub were in constant use. Mary is very thoughtful and assembled a ringed binder with important contacts and suggestions for dining, shopping and entertainment. Although there was no beach on the property there are nearby beaches. The towns of Guilford and (nearby) Madison are charming and well worth visiting. Mary was very accommodating and responded promptly to several inquiries.
