Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality

Line and Alexander have a lovely home and we very much enjoyed our stay. The house is just as shown in the photos and is situated in a quiet street close to Lyngby lake, also with a private garden at the back. It's modern, well furnished and comfortable and was equipped with everything we needed, plus was spotlessly clean. Communication was great and very friendly at all times. Many thanks for our stay - we hope to be back!

It's a great week. Accommodation is super nice and fully child-friendly. We wouldn't have needed to bring toys ourselves. You only need to walk across the street to the sea and nothing stands in the way of a round of swimming at all times. Sandy beach can also be reached quickly by bike, which was also a hit with the children. By train, you can reach Copenhagen in 30 minutes. Wasn't a problem at all for us either. Above all, the area is super quiet. On foot you are also right in Bakken. Many prefer the amusement park even the Tivoli in Copenhagen. The adjacent forest is also worth a walk. Overall it was a super vacation. Thanks for the great place to stay!

The house is like in the photos,spacious with many rooms. It's next to a train station, so it's easy to get around.

We absolutely loved our stay at Dustin’s place. The house is located just outside central Copenhagen, but honestly, it felt like we were in the most beautiful corner of the city. The little house itself was amazing – cozy, charming, and full of character – but the real gem was the garden. We spent so much time just enjoying the peace and beauty of it. Everything about our stay was wonderful, and we’d come back in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!

I stayed in this cosy townhouse for 2 weeks over Christmas and felt very comfortable. Had everything I needed to cook for myself and it was also very convenient to shopping and restaurants in Lyngby. The host Sophie was very responsive to any requests and very helpful. She even showed me how to use the communal laundry facilities so that I could wash some clothes. The bed was very comfortable and the area is quiet, so I always got a good night's sleep. But for those who are looking for more exciting night life, the location is only a short train ride from downtown Copenhagen. I would certainly stay here again.

This is our second stay at Marie's apartment. We love the place, the friendly hosts, the apartment and the garden, the relaxed atmosphere, and location. Marie and her family are very welcoming, helpful, and easy-going. Highly recommended for families with kids. We hope to visit again!!!

Daniel welcomed me on my day of arrival to show me the apartment and give me the keys. Everything was as on the pictures, very clean. It is exactly what you would expect from the pictures and the description. The apartment is just by the Bagsværd train station with direct trains to Copenhagen city center, and also very close to supermarkets.

Excellent location close to nature and city. Knut was super helpful and proactive. I will definitely use his place again next time I’m in the area..

This was a lovely apartment in a beautiful area with everything we needed. Christa was so friendly and welcoming. We really appreciated being able to stay here.

Great and very clean place with excellent amenities. We liked the quiet location very much. Shopping, snacks and restaurants are a few minutes' walk away. Beach with swimming in about 1000 m; S-Bahn Ordrup max. 5 minutes' walk. Jægersborg Dyrehave Park with its many wild deer is also less than 2 km away. Parking on the side of the road is possible without any problems. Very comfortable and large bed, stable and fast internet; very, very small bathroom with good shower; perfectly equipped kitchen. Somewhat light-sounding - currently (9/2024) due to scaffolding (roof is being expanded) somewhat restless and when it rains at night you can hear the drops quite loudly. Great contact with the landlord. Responded quickly, professionally and kindly to a problem with the entrance door. We would like to stay there again anytime.

I recommend Patricia’s place, it has a good space, close to metro station, easy access to other places by public transport, supermarkets quite close and Patricia was always kind.

The accomodation is set in a very nice surroundings near the sea. It is in a calm area and within a reach of a public transport. It was clean and cozy and we hope, we will have an opportunity to visit again.

Rebecca's apartment is in a nice location and easy to get around the neighborhood, including going into Copenhagen if you wish. Easy communication, everything you need, would stay there again.

Exquisite apartment, beautiful, quiet location, responsive and thoughtful host. Our stay was delightful, the beds are very comfortable, the apartment is beautifully furnished and decorated, the balcony looking out on mature trees was a lovely bonus. Our host was super responsive. She checked on us to make sure we had arrived, even though our arrival was quite late on the first night. When I needed a second key she liaised with the agency to make sure we could collect one straight away. We hope to return to teach again next April, we will be looking to book this apartment as our first choice. Thank you Lin, we had a wonderful stay.

We loved the apartment and if we will need an accommodation again in Denmark, we will surely have Charlotte's apartment as the first preference: all in all definitely recommended! Spacious place, very well equipped kitchen, possibility of using the garden, grocery store nearby. Beautiful area - there is a place to walk and play with children. Tina is very helpful and answers questions immediately. It was a very successful stay - I definitely recommend this apartment for a short and longer stay.

I absolutely love Sofie’s apartment. I felt at home from the minute I stepped in the door and have had 13 wonderful days there. Sofie has decorated her place in a thoughtful, beautiful and functional manner. She was highly responsive from the first moment of contact and continued to be available should I need it. Sofie was kind and flexible with both the check in and check out process which is so very helpful for those of us who require long flights to get to Denmark. The apartment is beautifully located with easy access and walking distance to the stunning coastline of Øresund and to the beautiful Dyrehaven. The S train is a short walk away as are many excellent grocery stores. I experienced 13 days of peace and comfort and I would love to stay here again some time!

We thank Inger for letting us visit the area around Copenhagen for 4 beautiful days. The place was as in the description everything was clean and tidy. As described, the apartment does not have a complete kitchen, which you should be aware of and was additionally mentioned by inger. The equipment is somewhat outdated, but this has a special touch. There was a very nice terrace where you could have very nice breakfast. Thank you very much.
