Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Marina del Rey

We had a wonderful time during our stay. The space felt more spacious than the photos, and we were delighted by the natural light. Even with the large sliding doors closed, the indoor/outdoor feel was still present. Our dog enjoyed basking in the sun throughout the day. The space was quiet and peaceful, making it an ideal place to work and relax. We would definitely love to stay again!

My husband and I had a lovely stay at Nima's place. The space had everything we could have possibly needed and felt very secluded despite proximity to other homes. This is a great place to stay if you need a safe, clean, and thoughtfully organized home base while in LA!

Spencer’s place looked like the photos and had everything I needed for a few days of working from home! The kitchen is stocked with whatever you might need to cook a meal. Comfortable furniture and nice shower. The neighborhood is nice and safe to walk around, close to a few different coffee and restaurant spots. Would return!

We loved Matthew’s place, it’s super beautiful and comfortable! The bed is honestly one of the best I’ve ever slept in! The building is quiet, and the neighborhood has a lot to do within walking distance. Matthew gave really clear instructions and replied super quickly to everything! We totally recommend the place and would definitely stay again :)

Shell House was the perfect stay to end our road trip! Courtney has been an ideal host, no question was too much, she was always quick to respond and so accommodating. The house it’s self was so idilic and the aesthetic fit the location. It was close to the beach and Abbott Kinney BL for shops, coffee and restaurants. We would 100% stay here again and recommend to anyone considering a visit to LA to book Shell House.

We’re glad that we booked this place! It’s is located centrally to a lot of things you’d want to do in LA, and like other reviews mention, is on a nice, quiet street. We never struggled to find parking. Toni responds to most messages on the platform almost instantly, which is impressive. I appreciated the picture of the stuff in the closet for kids; saved us from needing to lug a stroller across the country.

Such a kind and thoughtful host! So flexible and was willing to go above and beyond for us. Would definitely stay again! Loved the beautiful shower and the small details. Such a perfect getaway!

Jimmy’s place is charming and comfortable. It’s quiet even though it’s on a main street. It’s close to restaurants and a short short walk to the beach is amazing! Jimmy is also quick to accommodate for any questions I had, which was much appreciated. He made sure I successfully checked in. I really enjoyed my stay, almost felt like my actual home. Monet was an awesome host! she was very communicative and responded to all of my questions quickly. the place overall was nice, clean & cozy. think my only complaint was that she said smoking was allowed on the balcony, even had an astray out there for convenience however, there was a neighbor above who does not like smoke and yells to stop smoking. So just be prepared to deal with that or do the long walk outside each time you want a cigarette. other than that, awesome spot, convenient location, great experience would book again!

This was a gem! I felt safe, the apartment was perfectly furnished, super clean, the layout was amazing! The best part about this place are all the art work around the building. I’d definitely stay here again. This place is special.

It was a really good stay, the neighborhood was really peaceful and serene. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with enough room for storage. Overall great time spent there. Jorge is a great host, very responsive!

Listing was clean and as described. Location was walkable and close to many metro bike stations, where you can rent bikes for pretty cheap. I’d recommend going up north more towards Santa Monica than south towards Venice.

Absolutely thrilled about our stay here. It’s a beautiful condo with the best LA decor. Everything was clean and comfortable. Also- Having a WORKING washing machine in an Airbnb was a game changer! The rooftop views- wow!! How cool to have a pool and hot tub on the roof! There is also no reason to feel unsafe at this location (I saw other reviews with some worries). The security at the front desk was AMAZING. They will not let anyone in that is not supposed to be in the building. They eventually know you by name and greet you. They walked me outside to show me exactly how to get to the convenient parking garage provided by the host. (The parking garage is just as secure!) I could go on and on about our experience- but it will only allow me to write so much! Thank you so much Brandon! We will be back! If you want to stay downtown LA- stay here.

This place was absolutely beautiful with an amazing view of the water! Beach access was also great to have very close by! It was great being able to fall asleep with the sound of the waves! Amazing air bnb to stay at!

Sam and Amber are great hosts and their place is perfect for a few days Santa Monica and LA. It’s very close to the beach, pier and the 3rd street boulevard (shopping and restaurants). Both of them replied quickly and were always helpful. The apartment has everything you need and is well equipped. The free parking in a garage is a big plus! We would come back and can absolutely recommend the two and their apartment!

The stay was very comfortable & homey. Great kitchen & living room space. Big bedroom with washer and dryer. Much bigger in person than it looks on the app. I recommend this play for a quiet getaway & subtle experience. Very quiet and peaceful, plus the hosts were great. Very responsive and proactive, answered any and all questions I had quickly.

John and Vincent were perfect hosts. Went out of their way to make the check in smooth, and be responsive. Their bnb is in a fantastic location, we walked everywhere , access to the beach was super easy and we were surrounded by great restaurants. My family had a wonderful break, we would go back in a heartbeat.
