Tiny house holiday rentals in Mariposa County

This was my second stay at this cozy cabin near Yosemite, and once again, it did not disappoint. The location is perfect—just a short drive to the park, which makes it super convenient for exploring. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The host was very responsive and attentive throughout the stay, making the experience smooth and stress-free. I’ll definitely be returning on future visits to Yosemite. Highly recommend!

Awesome spot and great host!

The location is in a quiet rural neighborhood near a creek. The grounds are woodsy with lots of lovely plants and a hummingbird feeder outside the kitchen window. Upon arrival we found fresh baked cookies and fresh cut little flower bouquets. Walking down by the creek scratched our itch for our love of the mountain creeks near our favorite camping area. Inside is a cozy mix of Victorian cottage and modern amenities. It’s close to town for shopping and dining options. Yosemite National Park is an easy 1-1/2 hours away. Kadi is a great host!

We had an amazing stay in this lovely home. The entire home was spotless, the running water was warm, and the property was peaceful. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to get away.

Exactly what we needed, just the necessities, perfectly close to Yosemite at the right price!

It was my second time visiting Mac’s campsite! I was so happy to see Buddy the “campsite” dog, who is happy and healthy! There are bathrooms, showers, and an outside shared kitchen to clean your utensils or cookware. I absolutely love coming here, it’s exactly 35 minutes from the north gate. There is a gas station with a market 5 minutes south of the campsite or another one 20 minutes before the north gate. John and Mac are super friendly and helpful! Thank you, see you again next time :)

The cottage was beautiful, peaceful and very well stocked. Stephanie met us upon arrival and gave helpful recommendations. The access to the dock and the washer/dryer were an added bonus especially with kids. The back deck was great for a few peaceful moments to enjoy coffee before the kids woke up.

It's not fancy, but very clean and everything works well. The star of this place is the location, inside Yosemite park...Awesome and key to fully enjoying the park experience. We had the bad luck of staying here during a heat wave which was challenging (no A/C) but the lovely shaded deck, no bugs, and a nearby swimming hole (2 min walk) made the head bearable. Also recommend escaping to Glacier point with a picnic dinner. Glorious. We loved our stay!

Great hosts, let us know before our trip that Yosemite had changed rules to say we needed an entry pass which saved our trip! Home was lovely, very nicely decorated and well kept. Would gladly recommend to anyone else looking to stay Thanks again

What a wonderful little spot! The tiny home was very thoughtfully laid out, comfortable and adorable. the setting could not be better; quiet, private, close to restaurants, activities and of course - Yosemite. The outdoor area really shines on this property. Gorgeous view to enjoy. We used the hot tub and fireplace, both were really easy to operate and shut down. It really set this place apart for us. Also- really comfortable bed! 10/10 Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! It was clean, well maintained and we appreciated the great wifi connection. We had so much fun playing all the games available. My daughter loved the cute upstairs room—it was the perfect little getaway for her. The cabin was comfortable, and exactly what we needed for a relaxing time. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for nice retreat!

Bollinger Birdhouse was perfect for our visit to Yosemite National Park. It is very close the park’s south entrance and a bit further to other parts of the park. The Birdhouse is tiny but has everything you need. Very clean and well stocked. Denise was a great host. We greatly enjoyed our stay.

This was the perfect place for my friend & I to stay while exploring Yosemite for a few days. It’s cute, clean, and comfortable. You get to be fully immersed in nature without being far from town. When we asked for some extra towels, Seth responded and delivered them within minutes! Would definitely stay here again :)

My husband and I celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary at Melanie's tiny home and it was the perfect overnight getaway! We loved the area (very private, quiet, and beautiful), and only a few minutes away from Historic Downtown Coarsegold. Our favorite unique things were: the swings hanging underneath a giant, beautiful tree with great sunset mountain views, and the incredibly fun, giant DVD collection they had which we fully utilized in the evening! The space is small, so we wouldn't have brought our children, but it was perfect for just the two of us! It's very cute, nicely decorated, clean, and functional. The beds were very comfortable, and the air conditioning was a life saver since we visited in the Summer. If you're wanting to visit Yosemite, or the casinos, or just need a nice mountain getaway that feels secluded, I'd stay here. Thanks again Melanie!

Our stay was incredibly comfortable, and a great spot to come and go to Yosemite NP. Dottie and Roger were friendly, courteous, and extremely responsive - their pets were a pleasure to meet as well.

My daughter wrote this on this lazy tiny house guestbook: This place is amazing, everything is amazing. I’m so lucky my parents brought me here! Kids had a blast, parents had a blast, we all enjoyed the patio, the dome, and the jacuzzi. It was amazing all the way! Truly a 5 star stay!

I spent a week here so I could visit Yosemite, and it was perfect! As a solo traveler, I prioritize safety, and I never questioned it while staying here. I spent the early mornings and afternoon exploring the park, and the evening relaxing in the hammock under the shady trees!

Loved our stay! Very cute studio house that has all the amenities you need. We stayed for three nights while hiking in Yosemite and it was perfect!

Buck’s place was exactly what we were looking for. It is nice and private, we loved the outdoor shower, our kiddo loved the lofts, and our dog loved all the sniffing and exploring. The pools/falls right down the road were magical and a special treat! It’s a great location for exploring the area.

The hosts were friendly and very personable. My husband had a great chat with B.J. When we were leaving. Solid down to earth people. Hopeful to come back again. This was our 1st trip to Yosemite and we will be back.
