We spent a week in Lena's Airbnb and felt very comfortable. We were very warmly welcomed and, despite Lena's absence, as she herself was on vacation, always had a very reliable and nice contact person with her father. The apartment is very tastefully decorated and it has everything you need, even for self-catering the kitchen utensils are there. There's even an extensive DVD and book collection. In the village, there is a bakery, a butcher and a supermarket, few restaurants - we lacked nothing, we were able to relax superbly. The view from the terrace is simply beautiful and places such as Bad Neuenahr and Ahrweiler are easily accessible by car, by bike or on foot. We highly recommend the place and Lena and her family as hosts.

Wilhelm was very service minded, and could give us some recommendations about where to eat and walk in the surroundings. Due to the floods last year, you can't trust everything google maps tells you. Some smaller roads are not yet repaired. The rotweinwanderweg is intact though, so you can hike and follow the arrows without worry!! It's easiest to get to the accommodation by car, but we travelled by train, and our host was very nice and picked us up at the nearby train station. We got a very nice breakfast at the outside terrace. Our room had a comfortable bed, and a view of the quiet surrounding forests. The calmness gave very good nights sleep!
