Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Meadow Lakes

Had a great stay at the Willow Cottage! Very peaceful location and easy to travel to Denali or back to Anchorage.

JD was a great host, very responsive and friendly. We are so grateful for the ability to find a peaceful and quiet place. No complaints, it was worth every penny.

A beautiful house with a wonderful fire pit. It is a well laid out place and it is nicely stocked. There are some tricks to getting some of the doors to lock (including the bathroom door) and none of the 3 upper bedrooms have blackout curtains. Generally, a very pleasant stay.

The host was helpful and very polite. The house was perfect. We had enough room for 5 of us and were able to cook dinner and breakfast, thanks to well stocked pots, pans and utensils. The coffee maker came in clutch as we all love a cup in the morning. We had issues with our vehicle starting and when I let the owner know we would be a few minutes late leaving, they had responded quickly and understood our dilemma. Thank you for the amazing stay. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. I’ll plan future stays here.

Enjoyed our stay at this Alaskan retreat. It was a perfect pit stop for our family to recharge before heading back home after a cruise. The views were amazing and accommodations were super comfortable and cozy. Lots of space and amenities. Felt private and secluded but also close to lots of shopping and dining.

Cozy cabin was just as advertised. Khyle was responsive and close by. Clean linens, big pillows, clean shower, mini fridge with air fryer and microwave for amenities. Books up fast! Definitely would stay again.

Krista and Carl were great hosts. The home was clean and perfect to be able to sleep at night with 2 kids. They even went above and beyond and lent us some fishing gear so my 3.5 year old could fish at Matanuska lake. He even caught his first fish. Dogs on the property are super friendly. She and Carl are very responsive with any questions or requests. I would definitely stay again.

I loved the cabin! Although a little snag happened and the main place was double booked, we got put in a cabin that I think I enjoyed more! Billie Jo is super helpful and offered great suggestions for local things to do. The pup Marcus was a wonderful joy visiting us during our fire and while sitting on the porch. We had everything we needed and an awesome view to end our evening. I would recommend any of Billie Jo’s cabins to someone looking to be close to town but also have a relaxing getaway.

this is a really cute spot with everything that you might need. we were doing a lot of traveling across the state so it wasn't really a problem to be out and kind of isolated. it was nice and cozy. the owner is really pleasant and helpful and proactive in communicating. his family lives upstairs which was not a problem for us, but is something worth repeating for a review. they were all really nice when we had interactions and have adorable dogs. overall, there's not a lot of bad things to be said about the place it was enjoyable

Our stay was wonderful! This place has so much room. We had 2 grandchildren (age 5 & 10) with us and they loved it also. Only issue we had was a complaint from people whom lived below. We respected the quiet hours from 10-10 everyday. We did not know 1 of them worked 2nd shift, and got woke up by the kids couple mornings? They were playing tag out on deck one time. We told them we were sorry and would try to respect their wishes. From then on we worried about being quiet. This place is very close to grocery stores, gas, Walmart, Fred Meyer’s, and restaurants. Wonderful place to stay and very convenient. There is a park 2 lots down which we went to and kids played and fed ducks. There is also a Church (Creekside Church) about 5 miles away, very nice Church and made us feel welcomed. The kids loved the Children’s Church also. This place had everything we needed. The view was spectacular.

We are Alaska locals (Valdez) and had to drive to Whittier and back home. Maybe we're just getting older, but driving 800 miles round trip in less than 24 hours (our original plan) is too much for us, so we found Chad's place just to sleep before driving the rest of the way home. It was perfect: quiet, private, comfortable, clean, safe. We're putting this Airbnb on our favorites list to stay at again.

Our stay was amazing, the place is very cozy and has everything you would need while being completely surrounded by the nature which brings the feeling of tranquility. The host was very responsive and helped us with everything. We definitely recommend this place.

Jaime was very kind and accommodating during our visit. She went out of her way to get us a Pack n Play for the baby, as well as chargers for our phones because we forgot to pack those. Her place was very clean and had plenty of toiletries, towels, dishes, and coffee for use during our stay. Thank you again Jaime!

This cabin is so cozy and perfect for a getaway. I absolutely love everything about it. It makes you feel right at home in the country. Thank you Robin for sharing this awesome place with us. We will definitely be back again.

Our family was quite comfortable in the cabin. Bathroom with excellent shower head, amount of hot water, and pressure. Kitchen had everything we needed for simple breakfasts and lunches. Location was one mile from our son's home, so perfect. Hosts were responsive to our needs and offered clean towels halfway thru our stay. Despite cooler weather, furnace was adequate. Being close to our family was the best quality of this cabin. When we left our glucose monitor after our stay, the hosts notified us and arranged for its pick up. We were so grateful

We had a great stay at this cute and cozy cabin! It was very clean, and the communication from the hosts was excellent throughout. One tip for future guests: definitely read the directions provided by the hosts carefully, as we did get lost a couple of times trying to find the place. Once we arrived, everything was smooth and enjoyable. Thank you for hosting us!

Excellent location and truly enjoyed our stay

Easily the top place I’ve ever stayed at. Perfect place to stop if you’re traveling through, or to get out of the city. The sweetest people own this place and went above and beyond to help us feel comfortable and even helped us with car troubles. Can’t recommend this place enough. Felt like home!

We needed a simple and affordable cabin (with a shower) in the Wasilla/Willow area for a quick overnight. It was exactly as advertised. It was clean, and arranged/supplied/decorated to efficiently maximize comfort in the cozy space. The main bed was very comfy and my son reports he slept fine on the fold out couch/bed. Her check in/out directions were clear and easy to follow. Since the property has Nancy Lake access, I was trying to squeeze in some kayaking into our tight travel schedule. So I had lots of extra questions that I messaged her about re Kayak rentals and possibly arriving early to kayak before check in etc. Maggie answered each of my extra messages promptly which was very helpful for planning purposes. Her cleaning fee was affordable compared to the crazy high cleaning fees on some properties, so we made sure to do our part by leaving it tidy, washing and putting away all dishes used, and even pre stripped the bed sheets so it would be quicker cleaning for her after.

I have been traveling all around the United States for the past 10 years and have stayed at a lot of airbnbs. this by far is one of the best ones I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. it is super clean comfortable and has everything you could possibly need or want. if you are anywhere near Palmer Alaska this is the place to stay hands down. Tricia was wonderful in every way. she even left a thank you card and a beautiful ornament. thank you so much Tricia I truly truly appreciate you and your beautiful place
