Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Mendrisio District

Very cozy place with charm. We had a very nice time with our 3 children/teenagers and especially enjoyed the proximity to the lake and the gelateria very much. Jannika is very friendly and responds very, very quickly to requests.

Wonderful apartment, everything you need is available. Parking right outside the door! We got pizzas at the "osteria del teatro" (500m away), these are highly recommended. We slept very well as it was very quiet. Glad to come back!

We wanted somewhere near the lakes, between Italy and Switzerland, and we found it. Do not expect a nice place downtown, close to everything. But with a car, you can easily move around and explore the whereabouts. Italian spoken anywhere in Lugano and english and maybe other languages. Not far from supermarkets, easy to find spots with "too good to go" food (and good stuff, believe me) and in case you find everything expensive, take a short ride to Como, by the italian side (you will not regret it, very good to buy groceries). Feel the air and enjoy your stay, definitely a very pleasant spot. Fabio and Inna are great hosts, will solve any problem right away. Too short for five days, stay a week if you can. By the way, we even changed the period of our stay (few days ahead) and that was no problem at all. Just go!

Delighted with our holidays in Lombardy. This accommodation is ideally located between Lake Como and Lake Lugano. Very clean. Quiet. Fresh nights in these heatwave times is a must!

Absolutely as beautiful as the photos. It was so nice to be we greeted with a welcome gift and music playing on our arrival. Made us feel right at home after a long day of travel. The host was great at communicating and providing clear check in instructions. Amazing location, but keep in mind the nearest town with restaurants is a 25 minute walk. However, it's a perfect spot for daytime excursions around the area. But it's just as pleasant to spend the day in the gorgeous indoor and outdoor spaces. It was so fun paddle boarding - so little boat traffic that it felt like we had the lake to ourselves. Highly recommend!

Excellent accommodation very well renovated and very functional. The bedrooms are relentless as well as the shower rooms. Kitchen level, it has all the necessary equipment for a family holiday stay. Free public parking available in the village and not far from the accommodation. The attentions of Eleonora and her mom were exquisite. We would definitely recommend this lovely experience.

This is a true pearl! If you enjoy the lake, the view, being able to be outside, then this is the place to be. On top of this we were able to use the boat to explore the lake. The house was the cleanest that we have experienced, all kitchen equipment was clean. And we lacked nothing. Thank you Luciano for hosting us and we will be back!

Natalie's place is wonderful! In real life it is much bigger than what appears in the photo, it is furnished with care and with a really "warm" mountain style! We stayed in 4 adults and a child and the space was really comfortable for everyone. The bathrooms are very nice, and everything works well. We had some difficulties with the wi-fi but in the end we stopped trying and enjoyed some music and chatting at the table on Christmas Day. The underfloor heating is fantastic because the house was nice warm and it was really nice to come back after a day out with the freezing temperatures! The location is extremely quiet, and for those who like to walk in nature, just open the door and go out. Natalie always responded very quickly to my questions and was super helpful. I recommend it to those who really want to unplug for the peace and silence of the surroundings.

We had a wonderful week in Meride at Daniella's with our children! Absolutely beautiful setting, full of possibilities in the surroundings, more than charming host! Our stay was better than our expectations!

The space was found spotless and clean in every way. There was nothing wrong with this. The location of the accommodation is very quiet and pleasant, there is no unnatural or disturbing noise at all around the clock. The place is highly recommended. It is one of the most beautiful places we were allowed to visit in Switzerland. The residents are extremely hospitable, nice and respectful to the tourists. We were lucky enough to have dinner in a nice restaurant with terrace over the lake. We can only recommend this! In addition, there are many great activities, direct access to the lake and a beautiful area to explore on foot. Would definitely recommend a visit to anyone! :)

The apartment matched the photos very well. It had good value for money because we were three people. And communication was easy thanks to the agency and employees available on WA and speaking different languages.

Beautiful place. I went in with no expectations and found a cozy and comfortable place for my family to rest. The path to get there was beautiful. Although there were many stairs, it was an easy climb. Will visit again.

We were allowed to spend 10 wonderful days in the beautiful apartment of Lorenza and Ivano. The very nice landlords and the beautiful garden with countless turtles made us feel immediately comfortable. The right place to slow down! We spent the Easter weekend at one of the apartments at Gritti Palace. The location is perfect and in the town’s center. We really enjoyed Alix’s hospitality and are grabbing for all the services and assistance that she provided, including giving us another room where there is no stairs since I’m pregnant, finding us more varieties of tea and fixing the toilet seat promptly. The communication was very easy and fast. We would recommend this place to anyone!

The apartment was very clean and perfectly matched the photos and description, it was also equipped with mini body soap and soap, the TV had netflix included. The host was very helpful and allowed us to check in after ten in the evening following an unpleasant situation in a nearby property. Communication was super fast and the host had us leave our luggage in a safe room until we had to leave.

Romina's place was just like the pictures - very conveniently located next to the swimming pool and lake. The place was big and bright with tons of closet storage. I personally loved her knifes for cooking as the were actually sharp and great for cutting tomatoes (something rare in Airbnbs). There was also lots of linen and it all smelt fresh and newly washed. The apartment is an easy drive to lots of sites and if you have water equipment (paddle board, etc) the lake is easy access and there is a lot of communal storage.

We loved our stay at Gian Luca's apartment. He was so attentive and helpful and always available to answer any questions. The home is spotless and very comfortable. We do not use a car and were happy that the bus stop was so close, right by the Coop supermarket. We will happily return. Thank you again Gian Luca!

I stayed at Susanne's place with my partner and two friends. The spacious spaces of the apartment and the beautiful balcony with a view allowed us to live a very pleasant experience. Susanne's place is a super-attic with direct access from the elevator that rises from the garage with two parking spaces. Very comfortable! We also enjoyed the magnificent hot tub. Personally, I particularly appreciated the large kitchen and the view that can also be enjoyed from the inside of the apartment. Susanne is an attentive and punctual host. We felt welcomed as a family. Thanks Susanne and talk soon.

What a beautiful apartment looking over the lake. The location is quiet and relaxing. We stayed for 4 nights and explored the area it was easy to get around. The apartment has everything you could ask for. Patrizia & GianFranco were great hosts and very responsive. We hope to return again.
