Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Merzig-Wadern

We arrived at the cottage and immediately felt at home. Everything was as described or as shown in the pictures. Marianna was always easy to reach and we felt more than comfortable and welcome. Our dog also felt very comfortable there; that you bring your own blanket for the dog is a matter of course for us and also that you cover the sofa, for example, if the dog goes on the sofa is absolutely understandable. The house is in a quiet location and we were very quickly in the forest with the dog (where even a few elves live). All in all, the stay was very relaxing and simply great for us. We will definitely book with Marianna again, because we have seen a lot in the last few days, but not all the sights in the area.

We chose the accommodation because we were mainly there with a dog for hiking. The apartment is very cozy and clean and invites you to relax. The garden is also large and beautifully designed. Unfortunately, we did not get our money's worth in terms of food, as Bitche is a relatively desolate town with few restaurants. Culturally, however, it has a lot to offer and is also very well maintained. Overall, it met our expectations.

We enjoyed our stay in the home. It was a beautifull house in a beautifull garden. We had a warm welcome of the host. We enjoyed our stay.

Patrick's place was ideal for us and our party. Well located for Saarlouis and perfect for the dogs with a large enclosed garden. A very well eqquiped house with more than we needed. Patrick was also extremely welcoming and helpful.

staying with Mark and Heike was a pleasure. they are not only super lovely host but also great as a person. have been highly communicative and caring. my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the place surrounded by nature. we will definitely come back.

Great place, Gisela was very helpful! We were worried about getting there with our small car not an SUV, but it was not an issue at all, the road is very easy and accessible. Tinyhouse was very clean, even tho it was a bit cold outside we could turn the heating on and it was very cozy. We were mainly going to different cities around and I’m a bit sad our stay was short because I would love to enjoy the nature around. It’s a perfect place to stay for people that loves countryside, want some peace and quiet in their lives even just for a weekend ❤️

Review: We had a wonderful time in Ulla's cozy wooden house. The location is wonderfully quiet and green, with a beautiful view of the valley – ideal for exploring the Hunsrück or the Moselle Valley. The house is exceptionally well equipped – we were there with four adults, two teenagers and a toddler and didn't miss anything. Particularly noteworthy are the generous laundry facilities (bedding, blankets, hand and dish towels) as well as the kitchen, in which nothing is missing. The house itself was sparkling clean, very well maintained and lovingly furnished. Communication with Ulla was warm, uncomplicated and reliable. You can see how much effort she puts in. We felt completely comfortable and will be happy to come back!

Impeccable and spacious apartment, I highly recommend it. The bedding is great and the apartment is very well equipped. You can book without a second thought.

We had a wonderful stay at David's studio. We stayed for 8 nights and didn’t miss a thing. The studio was even prettier in real life than in the pictures. We especially enjoyed the beautiful view, the private sauna, and the cosy café. Since the studio is located in a small mountain village, you do need to drive everywhere, but the upside is that you’re surrounded by peace and quiet.

We had a fantastic 4 days, Frédéric is someone who pays attention to the details and you notice this in everything. The apartment is spotless and very nicely decorated!

We enjoyed staying in the apartment as part of a weekend trip very much. The apartment offers a very special and truly unique interior. It was individually designed with great attention to detail with high-quality materials and exceptional objects. The solid wood used for furniture and doors, especially the wooden floor, makes the apartment particularly cozy. The area is perfect for hiking, the infrastructure in the village leaves nothing to be desired.

We had a delightful stay in Bettviller with Silvia and Manfred. They were very accommodating and ensured we had everything we needed to make our time very enjoyable. The place is a lovely mix of old and new. The stone walls offer a contrast to a very well-equipped kitchen and bathroom and the bed is very comfortable. The coffee maker is great and in the morning across the beautiful park setting you may hear the sound of a rooster. There are a couple of small villages nearby that provide easy access to food and restaurants. Silvia and Manfred also made some great recommendations for things to see in the area. We will visit again when we travel to this part of France.

Very nice apartment, with everything you need , quiet , wonderful garden. Hosts are very forthcoming. Near Bostalsee, Schaumberg . Would stay there again.

The contact was incredibly friendly from booking to departure. She responded quickly to messages and was also spontaneously available by phone to facilitate the search for parking. A few hours before arrival, we were able to easily move our check-in forward - it doesn't get better. Upon arrival, someone also came out directly to show us the way. From front to back, she was very eager, be it cozy additional blankets, a phone call the next morning, whether we slept well or the great, small breakfast plate. Just great! It's not excluded that we will come again in the summer! At the beginning of March, it was a little too fresh - especially to be able to use the beautiful outdoor area properly.

A pleasant house in a beautiful place. Everything you need is here. Communication with the host quickly and accurately. A place I would love to return to.

Wonderfully quiet place in a remote village. High in the sky, you may occasionally hear a plane, a car or a tractor passing by, but otherwise it is mostly the birds. It is a very cozy wooden cottage, very solid, and that is mainly heated by the wood stove, where plenty of wood is available that can be used, with tondel and small pieces of wood to get things going. Only in the two bathrooms (upstairs and downstairs) is electric heating, so you will not get cold. The living room area is a bit dark and could use a bit more lighting. There is no beautiful (not necessarily ugly) view, but the peace and quiet you have there is wonderful, although sometimes with the wrong wind you can vaguely hear the blades of a modern windmill. Not disturbing otherwise. Next to the door is a typical German restaurant and not bad, but also not 'haute cuisine' of course, for that we have other cities in the world. Without a car, it's far from amenities. Great!

We would describe Harald's place as a beautiful spot to go glamping, with the luxury of a normal roof, soft beds, a private shower and toilet and the option to cook. Absolutely beautiful area and Harald is very responsive and had some good suggestions for us to do around the area. There's a fire pit available where you can roast your meat above fire, when it's not raining. What we did not expect was the 40 fishermen at 6 AM who will stay around the cabin until 6PM, who use the public toilet right below the cabin. From the initial photos and location it wasn't clear that this was a fisherman's spot, and our son was looking forward to be able to swim close to where we sleep, which was only possible after 6PM. It was his idea to go camping, we didn't want to sleep in a tent so we settled in between :) Turned out our son had a different idea of camping so we left early. Still a lovely spot!

We had a great, comfy stay. The cabin is nice and cozy, surrounded by nature and easy accesable and a friendly, helpful host.
