Gut Scheidt is located in the green triangle of Düsseldorf / Ratingen / Mettmann. It's less than 10 minutes to the A3. The distance to Düsseldorf city center is approx. 25 minutes. Wir (Marcel, 46, Melanie, 45, Levi, 10 & Ayumi 🐶<1) vermieten unsere Einliegerwohnung (o. Küche!) im Souterrain unseres Hauses in Mettmann / Metzkausen mit separatem Eingang über den Hausflur. Das großzügige Schlafzimmer liegt an der Terrasse zum Garten sehr ruhig und idyllisch. Es bietet sich vor allem für Messegäste an (Düsseldorf 20km, Essen 30km und Köln ca. 40km) oder jemanden, der z.B. Familie in der Nähe besucht. Bei Fragen sind wir jederzeit ansprechbar und freuen uns aufs Gastgeben!

You would live in the small village called “Meigen”. It is very close to the city centre of Solingen. The drive to the city centre is about 5 min. with the car and 10 with the bus. You can park your car almost in front of the apartment. The train station „SG-Mitte“ is also very close. By foot you will need around 20 minutes, with the car only 5 minutes. If you want to ride to Düsseldorf or Cologne you can easily take the train (30-40 min.) or your car (same time), perfect for fairgoers.

The completely renovated Degenfabrik offers you an ambience that makes time run a little slower. Parking is available, 10 to 15 minutes to the city, various restaurants and shops, regional train connection. The sports facility is behind the house. In the same building we run an art gallery that can be visited.

Our mobile tiny house, based on a shipping container, was designed to offer top accommodation services while surrounded by nature and animals while being located just some minutes away from the city. Our place is located in the middle of the Neanderthal trail. A recollection of 240 kms of hiking and biking trails leaving from our house or by short driving distance.
