La Bellaria di Sicilia is an old stone barn, restored to become a comfortable country home. It is surrounded by fields with carrob and olive trees, with glimpses of the sea, which is just a few minutes away. Magical stone hut built in 1818 lovingly converted with local materials into a simple, elegant home. Perched on a mountain ridge with valley vistas on all sides and a magnificent view into the Baroque town of Scicli with the sea beyond. A metal gate two fields away leads you into the land, where our neighbouring farmer grazes his cows and goats amongst the ancient carob grove. To the rear of the house is a vast carob tree hung with a hammock for dreamy afternoon siestas.
