Family-friendly holiday rentals in Monte Testaccio

Siamo ritornati in questo appartamento e ritorneremo sicuramente (abbiamo già fatto la prenotazione). Ottima località (metropolitana in vicinanza, supermercato, chiesa...), appartamento pulito, tutto pronto per il nostro soggiorno di due settimane. La comunicazione perfetta - assolutamente non c'è problema. Molto raccomandato.

Amazing location right in the very heart of Trastavere. This apartment had everything we needed for our short stay in Rome and was in a perfect location to access the sights of the city and the dining and nightlife of charming Trastavere. It was exactly as described and Germana was a friendly and welcoming host. Hopefully one day we can return.

Emanuele was very communicative and Cristina has good advices for city of Rome. We felt like it was our second home. Owner was always at disposal. We were 2 adults and 3 children. Recommended.

This was a great apartment. Great patio, nice, clean and spacious. Loved the neighborhood. They were great hosts-allowing us to drop our bags early was a big plus. Gave us a great list of recommendations. Terrific to have a washing machine! Perfect. Thank you for the great stay.

My second time in this place , and it still amazing ❤️

This might be the most thoughtful and pristine Airbnb my family and I have ever visited. Perfect location, wonderful shower, lovely views, cozy beds, and very suitable AC for hot summer nights in Roma. The lift for our heavy luggage saved my husbands back, even though the apartment is only on the second floor. Paola is a prideful owner of her charming apartment and it shows with every detail. Will definitely refer my friends to this one of a kind accommodation. Can’t wait to visit again. 🩷

This place is in the HEART of the action and we LOVED it. We were 4 friends traveling together and we would highly recommend this place to anyone. The Trastevere area is the place to stay, and Michele’s house gives you the perfect retreat. So much space, two great bathrooms, with an outdoor space to allow you to relax. The AC works quickly and awesome in that Rome heat. Lots of towels, and spots to hang clothes. The living room couch is so comfy and provides such a big location to hang out with friends. The front room is noisier but my sister and I did not wake. Just advice for someone who is a very light sleeper. If you want to be in the heart of the action, close to all the fabulous restaurants, and feel at home, then this is your spot

We had a fabulous stay, the apartment is cosy, super clean, really quiet, cute terrace to enjoy breakfast in the shade and afternoon sun. Every little detail is there and the fridge is stocked with items as well as coffee, sweets….Best apartment ever 💯Good backery just around the corner, supermarkets just a short walk, easy with tram 8 to the train station and city centre and bus to Vatican. We had some excellent diners in local restaurants and it was nice to get out of the busy centre. But most of all Valentina is absolutely great,reacts fast, could leave our luggage until afternoon departure. She is just the best and made our stay perfect! Grazie mille ❤️

Guido's place is located in a very walkable area but outside of the primary tourist locations in Rome which can get quite noisy and crowded. Lots of restaurants, a fantastic gelato shop (Fassi), a nice park nearby, and it's about a 15 minute walk from the Termini train station. The location was perfect for us, and the space provided everything we needed for a short stay in Rome.

This apartment and its owners were every bit as charming as advertised. The location is a bit outside the main hustle of downtown but in a great neighborhood with lots of cafes and restaurants, and all the main sights are easily accessible by public transportation. The apartment itself was lovely and very comfortable and well-equipped. I did not need anything, but the owners live just 200 meters away in case of emergency. That also means they know the neighborhood well and left great recommendations. All around I had a wonderful stay! Thank you to José Alberto and his wife!

Z pobytu u Livii jestem bardzo zadowolona. Mieszkanie było zgodne z opisem: przestronne, gustownie umeblowane, z dużym i bardzo wygodnym łóżkiem. Do wyłącznej dyspozycji gości jest duży taras ze stołem i krzesłami. Często z niego korzystaliśmy pijąc kawę lub wino. Czystość w mieszkaniu i łazience idealna 5/5. Aneks kuchenny wyposażony we wszystkie niezbędne naczynia, przybory kuchenne oraz oliwa i inne przyprawy. Livia przygotowała poczęstunek. Zostawiła też wodę w lodówce, masło oraz do wyboru zestawy herbat i kawę. Livia jest bardzo sympatyczna i gościnna. Miło zostaliśmy przez nią przywitani. Poleciła nam ciekawe miejsca do zobaczenia, przygotowała specjalnie dla gości informator i mapę miasta. Od razu zarezerwowała na wieczór dla nas stolik w restauracji. To bardzo miłe. Kontakt z Livią był doskonały. Reaguje na wszystkie pytania i ewentualne prośby. Dziękuję Livio za Twoją gościnność :)

Ótima estadia em Roma! Localização excelente e de fácil acesso aos pontos turísticos. Fica muito próximo de supermercado, cafeteria e restaurantes (inclusive jantamos em um maravilhoso e fomos a pé do apartamento). O Manuel nos recebeu muito bem e deu várias instruções muito úteis. O apartamento é muito bom para 4 pessoas (2 casais). Funcionou muito bem para nós para uma estadia de 3 noites.

Our family of 11 enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, historical home. The check in was easy with clear instructions. The neighborhood was friendly and we walked to the close by market and restaurants Public transportation was easily accessible The host responded quickly to our inquiries and provided helpful information.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Rome, et tout a commencé par l’accueil chaleureux de Paolo. Il a prit le temps de nous expliquer tout ce qui était nécessaire, il nous a recommandé un excellent restaurant à quelques pas de l’appartement et était disponible si nous avions des questions. L’appartement était très situé dans un quartier plein de vie! Nous avons visité la majorité des attractions touristiques à pied, sinon le transport en commun est à deux pas au coin de la rue. Plusieurs restos, cafés et épicerie très accessibles à pied, Viva Trastevere, viva Roma ! Merci pour tout Paolo! Ciao! XX

Very charming apartment just outside of the main downtown area of Rome. The host, Giancarlo, is very communicative and flexible. Highly recommend

Amazing place very close to Rome. Feels like the middle of the countryside, there are even chickens running about. Quiet and peaceful, yet only walking distance from restaurants and shops. There is a tennis clubs and gym just up the road, too. Easy access to via Appia Antica and to Rome city centre. Very friendly host

Stefano’s place is lovely, loads of space and everything you need. Lots of places to eat close by and the metro just a short walk away to take you right into the centre of the City, literally a few stops away. The outdoor area is just perfect and a great way to relax after a busy day! Stefano was always quick to respond on everything before & during our stay. Would highly recommend a stay here if visiting Rome.

Jimmy可能是我遇到过最helpful的主人。我们是自驾来罗马，住宿附近有方便的免费停车点，他也很熟悉要去梵蒂冈或者罗马景点内的交通。如果要去斗兽场附近，从住宿开车5分钟就能到附近的地铁站。整个住宿也很舒服，电视微波炉烤箱一应俱全，超大的阳台也是独一无二。 The flat is such a cozy place where you can find a big balcony. The interior is very warm and all amenities are new. I would say jimmy is a great and super helpful host. He provides clear check in instructions and many good recommendations on food and places to visit. Such a pleasant experience.

Alex was an ideal host. Met us on arrival and showed us around. He was always available via messages if required. The house was fantastic and the gardens and pool were beautiful. The pool is quite deep with a diving board. We decided not to rent a car and taxis were quite expensive so we relied on buses and the metro to get around. A metro bus ticket is 1.50 euros which gives you 100 minutes of travel on the bus and metro ( only one metro ride per ticket ). There are 3 big supermarkets including Lidl which can be reached catching the 88 bus outside the gate. The 906 bus can take you to Valle Aurelia where you can catch the metro to Rome Central. Overall, we all had a fantastic time and loved every minute of it. A fantastic host of a lovely villa.

Perfection. Absolutely loved it. It had everything we needed. Comfortable, clean and safe. A really peaceful sanctuary after the hectic feeling of the city centre. But so centrally located. We cycled to the centre on bikes we hired from a bike shop about 5 mins walk away. It took about 25 mins to cycle to the centre. We also got taxis a couple of times for convenience and it was a 10 min drive to the centre/termini station, cost 10-20 euros. The swimming pool and beautiful garden were a godsend in the heat. Ale and Roby were welcoming, kind and helpful, such lovely people. The friendly family cats were the icing on the cake! Highly recommended - we were sad to leave! The accommodation was lovely, with a beautiful property and a peaceful, quiet location. It was easy to reach and explore Rome from there, making it a perfect base for our stay. Highly recommended!
