Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Monterey Bay

Nice home on a very big lot that can be used for a variety of gatherings and was a great location to use for us to get ready for a wedding. The grounds were nice and it was only about a 12 minute ride to downtown Monterey.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jackie's beach house. The house was walking distance to all our favorite places to go. Honestly, we loved hanging out in the backyard too. The BBQ was perfect and ready to go. I wouldn't change a thing, it was perfect and we look forward to coming back again.

We stayed here with our three young kids for a vacation in the Monterey area. It’s a lovely well-maintained and well-appointed house in a peaceful residential area that was a great home base for exploring the broader region. The home looks to have been owned by one family for a very long time and is well cared for. The kids loved the yard and we took advantage of the grill, fire pit, and outdoor seating, which are things we don’t have at home in the city. The house includes most things you might need, although the kitchen implements were a bit limiting (as is often the case with rentals). The host was easy to communicate with, checkin was seamless, and checkout instructions were simple and easy to follow. Great experience, would recommend!

Our stay was wonderful. Our two girls especially did not want to leave. Everything was so comfortable and clean, we loved the toys and books, and the projector set up. The architecture and remodeling was beautiful. Appreciate the lack of tacky artwork on the walls. Tracie and Dave were such generous hosts. Hope to be back, thank you!

Wonderful place to stay. We enjoyed Troy's house and it was perfect for our big family with 3 kids under 5. The toys kept them entertained, we brought fire wood, and enjoyed a nice bonfire. Well kept house, very comfortable beds upstairs in the loft. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. My husband loved the outdoor shower, but the one inside was great too. We would go back again.

We had a large group that rented both properties - the Hacienda House and Vineyard House. Both were excellent, as described, stocked with anything you need and communication was fast and helpful. Our entire family loved it and felt like royalty. Would highly recommend it and would come back again for sure.

We loved this place! It was very spacious and held our big group very comfortably. Beds are all really comfortable, couch is big and great for groups. Bathrooms do look different than pictured in the photos, but they’re so cute! Feels kinda vintage cozy. The backyard area/deck is wonderful as well. Location is great, easy access to both Carmel by the sea and Monterey.

Great location and perfectly clean place to rest our heads after a day of exploring Monterey, Carmel, and Big Sur. Super close to grocery store, Costco (for food and gas), and Marshall’s, Ross, and Target just in case you forgot something for your stay. Kids loved Dennis the Menace Park and paddle boarding, adults loved the nearby bread and coffee shops and being so close to so many central coast gems.

We loved our weekend at Jamie's amazing apartment in Capitola! It was so easy to walk to the beach and we loved hanging out in the beautiful backyard with our little one. Perfect spot for our little family's getaway to the beach!

Beautiful Stay and very helpful host! Great amenities and the sunset views are stunning. Plenty of parking and things to do in the area Will definitely try to be back!

My boyfriend and I spent the weekend at Fidel’s place and it was truly a wonderful stay. It was very close to Monterey and Carmel. The apartment was well stocked in the kitchen and bathroom and everything was very nice and neat. I would definitely recommend staying here and would definitely book again!

Probably the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in in terms of being a clean, well stocked place. So many little details done right. Charging docks on all the night stands. A “did you forget anything” toiletry basket in the restroom. The well equipped kitchen and selection of coffee from Keurig to Nespresso. A lot of care was put into this home and it’s well worth the asking price. As far as location, proximity to the beach, and views - that is all self explanatory. I had an amazing time, and will certainly book again.

Nice hot tub and gas fireplace which we enjoyed every night! Our son is a surfer so we walked a couple blocks to the bluff to watch him. Great restaurants in the area and sites (surfing museum) to see. Abbot Square was a good venue to eat and enjoy music.

Can’t recommend this place enough! Great location at the edge of the resort, so it feels quiet and private and yet has all the usual Seascape amenities. It’s also right on the path that leads down to the beach. Everything feels new and sparkling clean. The unit is larger than the typical Seascape 2 bedroom, with an extra dining room space.

Very nice place, very comfortable and had everything we needed. Host was very nice, quick to respond and took care of everything we needed. Very beautiful area surrounded by redwoods and very private. Would definitely stay again.

Our stay at Brookes home was great! The space was incredibly clean and comfortable. We felt very comfortable and safe. I wish I could have stayed longer, but the space was beautiful outside even after the storm. We had a small hiccup trying to get the lock to work, but Brooke was super fast with her response & helped us get in quickly. 10/10 would stay again!

We had a great stay at this cozy cabin in the Redwoods. What a beautiful location, of course the pictures do not do it justice. Literally nestled in the center of towering redwoods. The kids loved the swingset, art room, game room and of course exploring the yard for banana slugs. The cabin was much bigger than we expected, we definitely plan on returning in the future. We had THE BEST stay at Paige’s cabin in Felton. I can it say enough great things about Paige’s responsiveness and flexibility — from early check-in to allowing some friends to come over for a BBQ. Paige was so reasonable and accommodating, and super quick with her responses! The cabin itself was perfect for us. The proximity to Henry Cowell and downtown Felton couldn’t have been better. Surrounded by redwoods, with multiple outdoor seating options, this spot was exactly what we were looking for. We had fires in the wood burning stove in the chilly mornings and bonfires at night. The cabin is beautifully appointed, and the thoughtfulness and attention-to-detail was next level. We will be back! We’ve decided Paige’s cabin will be our place every time we’re in town. Thank you for such a great stay!
