Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Montfiquet

My family of five (three of them young children) stayed here for a few days during a three week journey around Europe. It’s been a lifelong dream of mine to visit the D-Day sites and this home made our stay 100% enjoyable. It is my favorite AirBnB I have ever stayed in. It was perfectly clean, had everything we could have thought we needed, and the location was absolutely perfect. Thank you for letting us stay in such an amazing place!

If you dreamed of staying in a French farmhouse in the countryside while having all the modern conveniences look no further. There are not enough pictures to do the property justice complete with a lake, ducks, pastures, cows, local old church while being close to all the historic sites you go to Normandy to see. The host is superb. Met us at the door of the property even though she had worked all day as a nationally certified D Day guide. Everything in the house was new, clean, comfortable, and easy to use. The interior is amazing with wooden beams and tastefully decorated keeping with the French country aesthetic. Our stay was great and kept getting better every day as we noticed more and more amazing nuances that really enriched our visit. We could not have imagined a better visit, a better location, or a better host.

Very spacious, very well-equipped and welcoming accommodation. Some chocolates were waiting for us on arrival: we found this small touch very thoughtful. The space was perfectly equipped for a long stay. Great for a long stay.

Amazing place to stay, lovely owner and beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Relatively close to a lot of touristic sites if you are by car. Would love to stay another time, we enjoyed our time here so much!

A wonderful property with lovely hosts, we enjoyed a relaxed family holiday at St Martin-de-Blagny. Beatrice was really helpful in making sure we had everything we needed. The kitchen was really well set up for big family meals and we loved exploring the countryside. Thank you very much Beatrice!

A quirky gite with a spacious living and dining area. It also has a nice private garden.

We had a great 2 night stay. Vincent met us on arrival and spent time giving us all the information we needed for a comfortable stay. Perfectly located, with onsite secure parking. But in saying that we just parked the car and walked everywhere - 2 minutes into centre of Bayeaux old town, perfect! When we had a problem with washing machine, Vincent came by and rectified the problem within the hour. Highly recommended! Merci Vincent! 😊

The host was welcoming and gave us the information to access the listing. The location is perfect because in the heart of Bayeux and 2 minutes from the cathedral. I would definitely recommend the owner and the space.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Milene’s place. It was so clean, just as pictured, plenty of coffee, comfortable beds. We could not have found a better place to stay. Conveniently and centrally located with great restaurants and attractions nearby. I would totally recommend!!

I had a great stay at this accommodation, which is not only very comfortable but also ideally located, 5 minutes from the train station on foot. My host was very kind and gave a remarkable welcome. She helped me with transportation so that I could go to my exam with peace of mind, a gesture that I deeply appreciated. I was in Caen for a conference so I didn't enjoy the accommodation or the beautiful little garden much, but everything worked perfectly. Guillaume, who I met, is a great host!

Pleasant stay at Karin's. Close to the city center and the sea. Nearby shops and a beautiful walk along the coast.

We spent one perfect week at Mathieu’s place and had an absolutely terrific experience! If you’re looking for an apartment in Bayeux, this is where you want to stay, hands down. The location is perfectly situated for walking to shops, markets, and cafes in the old town center and is also centrally-located for exploring the Normandy area. The apartment is inviting, peaceful, and clean with a comfortable bed. We especially enjoy livable locations where we can hear the church bells ring, and this was no exception at Mathieu’s place since the cathedral is just down the street (with a stunning view from the family room window). The bells add to the ambiance and experience, and fear not for they don’t ring through the night so your sleep isn’t interrupted. Only good things to say about this place!

We were warmly received. We were shown around and everything was shown to us. The area is very nice and you can do a lot. A walk on the beach is a must. The place is very nice and offers everything you need.

My son and I stayed 2 nights in Yannicks apartment, it has restored my faith in air bnb after a dreadful experience in Paris, the apartment is better than the pictures, the location is 10/10, the apartment was immaculately clean, I slept on the sofa and it was the most comfortable bed I have slept in since arriving in France 1 week ago. The town of Bayeux is the prettiest town I have ever seen and the apartment was 5 minutes walk to everything we needed. THANK YOU for allowing us to stay in your amazing apartment Yannick.

Very central, but also quiet. The cathedral is at the bottom of the road, where there is also a good selection of restaurants of differing kinds. The lace museum and art museum are right by the cathedral. Bayeux Tapestry Museum is a few minutes walk away . The main shopping road is also close by. Parking was easy to find and free. Communications with Guy were excellent and very quick responses. We were there Monday to Friday and there is a small market on Wednesday close to the tourist office but the one on Saturday is supposed to be very good. It’s at the top end of the main shopping street. Would highly recommend the apartment. It’s up one flight of stairs.

The accommodation is really faithful to the description. Quiet, independent, clean place. No complaints and Marie Hélène is a discreet and welcoming host. Don't hesitate.
