Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Morgantown

This is our fourth stay at Brian’s place. It is always a pleasure to come back to. A beautiful house in peaceful surroundings.

Can’t say enough good things about this place! My family and I had the best time. Gorgeous and clean home with extra amenities and goodies in the kitchen. The fire pit outside is wonderful. Though it was a cold Memorial Day Weekend, we made the best of it enjoying the comfy home and watching a movie. Someone in the guest book talked about counting the bears in the house.. they got 151, we got 163! Between the adults it was a funny game to compete who could get the most! Thank you Greg and Denise for a wonderful stay!

We had a little problem! Not her fault! Had a storm and the electric went off. Sherry came right over with lights and was very helpful’ the kids enjoyed no electric for awhile and practiced chess! She has lots of games! We went for the Blue snd z gray Reunion! Great!

Boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay. Accommodations were excellent. We really didn’t need anything but groceries and liquor :) The home had everything we needed (kitchen supplies including food containers, variety of seasonings, kcups, tea, keurig, hair dryer, washer/dryer) and didn’t think we needed (Qtips, hot tub towels, cleaning supplies, including laundry pods and dryer sheets, Netflix, Prime, grill accessories). The fully equipped kitchen, grill, and hot tub were bonus features for us. We will book again.

We had such a wonderful weekend celebrating our anniversary at KLAE house! It rained the whole time which kept us inside, but the place is so gorgeous and cozy we didn’t mind a bit! We spent our time reading and napping, watching movies and making watercolor paintings. As other reviews have mentioned, the house is impeccably clean and tastefully decorated. Everything was top notch and we’d return (maybe with kids and dogs next time!) in a heartbeat.

Truly a beautiful home with an even more beautiful yard. Quiet and slightly remote. Exactly what we needed for our stay :)

After a scheduling snafu with a different rental property, Maggie totally saved our trip by accommodating a same-day reservation for me and my friends. She was very communicative and ensured that we were still able to check-in at the normal time, which we greatly appreciated. The property is beautiful, well-appointed, and suitable for larger groups - everything you need for an awesome trip to Deep Creek. Highly recommend this property!

The nest is beautiful! Everything was so clean and neat. Diane was very friendly. I’d give her 10 stars if I could!

Staying here was an absolutely peaceful and relaxing experience. From the minute we arrived we felt more than at home, it was perfectly clean and felt very cozy. The extra touches of complimentary cinnamon swirl bread, popcorn and much more made for a very relaxing experience. It was great to spend some much needed time away hiking in some of the local parks. The Lucky Duck is a very calm and relaxing place to stay. We enjoyed the views and the local population of ducks and geese who welcomed us as we came and went. The place was spotless & spacious and had all the little things we needed for a great visit. Would highly recommend booking.

This is the most beautiful, serene spot in Morgantown! There is so much wildlife here for you and your pet to enjoy. This place has everything you could need for a terrific stay with very caring host. You won’t want to leave!

We absolutely loved staying at this cute little place looking over the river. The place was very clean and the bed super comfy. The town is sleepy but is surrounded by so much nature and outdoor activities. I would recommend this stay for anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway.

Nicole was extremely nice, gave great local recommendations and directions. House was beautifully maintained and had all the amenities we could need. the bed was the most comfortable bed I've spent a night on while out. WiFi code that was provided and super helpful because Verizon counted at roaming in parts of the area. WiFi was also very good. She also provided snacks and baked goods that were amazing. The location was also one of the cheapest stays in the area for what you can get. Couldn't recommend enough! 5 stars across the board!

A clean place and friendly neighborhood very quiet at night. The back yard is spacious. Kitchen utensils extra blankets and towels are available and clean. We enjoyed the stay.

We had a great short stay here! Rachel sent us all the info we needed prior to arrival. As others have mentioned, the last part of the way there is a bit of a challenging drive, but it's definitely doable without 4wd or an SUV (we have a VW Golf, though did appreciate our manual transmission and traction control, as it rained heavily the morning we left). The cabin was immaculately clean and as described. Loved the hot tub and outdoor fire pit and made use of both!

This property is absolutely stunning. The house and grounds are exquisite. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home, and the feeling continued until we checked out. We appreciated the stocked kitchen drawers, linens, and laundry room, as well as all the fun “extras”: the air hockey and ping pong, pool table, electronic game table, hot tub and sauna… The list goes on. Our favorite thing, though, was just spending time on the porches, and gazing out at the beautiful scenery. We had a wonderful time, and are already eager to come back again!

We stayed here for our 26th anniversary and it was perfect! It is an amazing cabin with incredible views. I highly recommend this cabin. The one piece of advice is because cell service is spotty don't trust your gps. Follow the instructions and look for the name of the cabin on the sign.

The cabin was beautiful! Small & cozy, perfect for a weekend away. The location was easy to find & check in was seamless. The cabin & hot tub were both extremely clean. Has everything you’d need for a long weekend. The host was friendly & proactive with check in & check out instructions. Would definitely stay again!

Was in WV for our daughters graduation in Morgantown from WVU was a little bit of a drive but it was a great fit for us and our group. Would definitely recommend and are considering going back for just vacation.

Better than we expected, this place was a tranquil destination. Pictures do not do it justice, the babbling brook, beautiful setting, community pond (with Koi fish), peaceful decks and comfy furnishings easily make this a 5 star air bnb! We will be back!! Thank you for giving us a quiet place to unwind and close enough to enjoy all the DCL area has to offer!

Joe's cabin was the absolute best! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and comfortable. The cabin is beautifully maintained, spotless, and filled with thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. The location was serene—tucked away in nature yet conveniently close to everything we needed. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and fire pit! Joe was a fantastic host, responsive, kind, and full of great recommendations. It’s clear he takes great pride in making sure his guests have the best experience possible. Very thoughtful and considerate host. Snacks provided along with eggs, juice, milk and bottled water. Even dog treats for the dog. Enjoyed our stay very much.
