Holidays by the lake Unden

In the middle of West Götalands unspoilt nature with its lakes and forests, near the big lake Vättern, about 5 kilometers from the village of Undenäs and far away from any through traffic, the small country village of Igelstad is located, directly on the lake Unden. The village is a small collection of scattered houses and farms, of which some are permanently inhabited, while others are used as summer cottages. Here, in a large clearing in the forest, the small farm "Nolgården" is situated. The house is a separate, well-equipped classic wooden log house, built in spruce. It was thourougly renovated in 2008. There is a private bathroom, kitchen and private terrace, Internet connection (WLAN) and Amazon Fire TV (Magenta TV). A cozy fireplace and electric heating provide comfortable warmth. Directly from the house you can make nice walks in the unspoilt nature, pick berries and mushrooms, or walk to lake Unden, one of the clearest and most pristine lakes in Sweden. From the house to the west side of the peninsula, there is only 800 meters. Here you can have a swim or enjoy the sunset over Unden. The eastern shore can be reached in quarter of an hour via a forest path. By the shore a canoe lies ready for extensive reconnaissance trips to the beautiful deserted islands and quiet bays. But the area has much more to offer: the romantic Tiveden National Park, Lake Viken, Forsvik and the Göta canal with its locks, and the huge lake Vättern are just a few examples of interesting destinations.

Newly built luxury beach house (1) in Varamon Motala

Newly built Attefall house with the absolute best location on the longest lake in the Nordic region and one of Sweden's finest beaches. With walking paths, cafes and restaurants, it's a place that has something for everyone. The shallow, clean water is sheltered in a cove that is perfect for surfing and kayaking. Close to padel courts, tennis courts, miniature golf. No pets allowed. Sheets/towels are brought yourself, but can be rented for SEK 100/person. Events/parties are not allowed. Water pipes/smoking not allowed!

Grenadjärstorp in idyllic Borghamn

The cottage is located a stone's throw from the shore of Lake Vättern with Omberg as a fund and with the beautiful plain that spreads out around Borghamn. We look forward to meeting 2025 with upcoming guests and please do not hesitate to look at the listing and contact me for any requests. This will be our 10 year hosting our cottage and we have through these years met so many nice guests from near and far. Guests who describe the area as beautiful and peaceful. Nearby there is a stone industry that is in use.

Lovely house in the countryside

Welcome to Snickargården in scenic Stora Mosshult, Tiveden! Here you rent a charming newly renovated house built in 1886 with room for up to 8 guests. In the house, there are all amenities from our time but with saved details from before. Hiking trails and swimming lake are within walking distance. Tiveden's sights are close to the distance and can be reached by bicycle or car. Bed linens, towels and final cleaning are included. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate pets, as many of our guests are fur allergic.

A lovely beach house with a wonderful view.

In our beautiful beach house you live so close to the lake, you can hear the sound of the waves. The house is 70 m from the beach, the longest "lake beach" in Scandinavia. Summertime there are 5 restaurants close by.(3 in the wintertime) Perfect for catching some sun, relaxing, vindsurfing, kitesurfing, nice walks in the beautiful area, tennis, paddle, minigolf or chilling and barbecuing on the patio. The Lakehouse (Nybyggt)

Att få bli ett med naturen i en magisk omgivning är något speciellt. Här kan ni slappna av och bara njuta! Till byggnaden hör även en terrass med bord & stolar. Byggnad uppfördes 2023 där byggmaterial är närproducerat, möbler & elektronik är återbrukade för att få ett så litet klimatavtryck som möjligt. A tiny house, 36 sqm, with modern furnishings from 2019 with large terrace, 100 meters from the lake. Fully equipped kitchen, lounge area with a sofa bed, toilet with shower and washing machine. Air conditioning. Bedroom with a bed 140cm. In the middle of the nature, in a forest full of mushrooms and berries. The lake is perfect for long-distance skating in winter. Possibility to loan a boat or raft in the summer, and a wood-fired hot tub in winter time. Wifi. TV. Barbecue.

Cozy little cottage beautifully located near the Varamon beach in Motala. The cottage is newly built and is only 100 m from the beautiful sandy beach. Nice decking around the cottage and possibility to barbecue. Parking space is included right outside. Bed linen and towels are not included but may be rented for a fee, 100sek/person. Only 150 meters to the lovely Varamostranden beach with access to swimming in clear water, shallow sandy bottom perfect for families. There are 2 restaurants nearby by the water.

Västanvik, close to Östgötaleden's hike, Vättern's coves and swimming, walks, a quiet moment and possible day trips to Motala, Askersund, Medevi, Vadstena, and more! Motala with Varamonbaden only about 20 min by car is the largest lake bath in the Nordic countries and offers a wonderful beach. Also suitable for golf weekends with proximity to, for example, Motala GK, Vadstena GK and Askersunds GK.
