Holiday rentals with a patio in Musselburgh

Johnny was great person very proactive, the flat was easy to reach, one floor down easy access. on the right side one queen green room, the other one after that one red pinck twin bed room, onthe left side master bes room with wc. the main WC is big and full of quality supplies, there is big kitchen and upper living room.

The Secret Orchard is a substantial, historic building. Fabulous inside, with modern fitting but still retaining many of the original features. Very comfortable beds. We particularly enjoyed the garden (Matt's tomatoes made me jealous). My wife thought the chickens, running free, were gorgeous.

It was a really cozy place, enjoyed my stay a lot. There’s a bus stop right outside the bnb so it’s easy to get to the city centre and back. Ted was an amazing host and very responsive, helping me settle in really quick. 10/10 would stay here again.

The apartment location was perfect. Only a short walk to Royal Mile, close to a small market and the car rental location. Host was always responsive, and provided a lot of great information & tips prior to our trip. The apartment itself was more spacious than we expected and the bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect for our party of 5. Would definitely stay again!

Splendide. Un logement avec une belle hauteur sous plafond, des moulures, un équipement de grande qualité (notamment la literie) et agréable à vivre tout simplement. Pour le parking gratuit qui se fait au niveau d’un complexe sportif à 10 minutes, nous y allions en empruntant un petit chemin le long du canal: très appréciable (par beau temps!). Damian a toujours été réactif et agréable. Nous recommandons très fortement et sans réserve.

Great location and ample space for the six of us. Many restaurants and bars nearby. Loved the outdoor space. Clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Property was spotless and very quiet. Frequent bus service only a few seconds walk which made the city very accessible. Would definitely stay here again.

I had a lovely stay in Midlothian. The house was clean, peaceful, and very comfortable. It was a perfect base to explore Edinburgh and the surrounding area. The host was friendly and helpful, and everything was just as described. I truly enjoyed the stay and would love to return in the future. Highly recommended!

This lovely cabin ticked all the boxes required to suit 7 adults from families coming together from afar, different generations, and physical abilities. Spacious yet cozy. The conservatory table was perfect for hysterical games of UNO while the weather dazzled us with its fickle self outside the giant windows, shifting from glorious rainbows over the hills, thunderous rain, and sparkling sunrises. Walks from the cabin were enjoyed by everyone. A Park and Ride into Edinburgh and a short drive to Peebles made days out easy. We had an unexpected plumbing issue and it was sorted out immediately while we were out. All said they slept well and the shower pressure/supply of hot water is fantastic. Underfloor heating is great. would happily stay again!

Me and my friends visited this property, and this is one of the best properties we stayed. It was so beautiful and homey. Norrane is very lovely lady. She also guide us with all nearby places and afcourse, if we are coming back to Edinburgh then definitely would like to stay here again...

A home away from home ❤️ The house was lovely, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. I was travelling with parents and a small child - so split levels meant everyone could have their own space and a big communal area on the ground floor which was perfect for us all. Location was great. A short cab ride into town, but walkable too. Close by to Arthur’s Seat, which is a must to do while in Edinburgh. Karen and Carina are amazing hosts, very responsive and went above and beyond for us. Would highly recommend! Thank you.

We had a lovely 5 night stay! Check in was fine, no problems. The interior is very comfortable and tastefully designed displaying original art and all furnishings are of a high quality. The kitchen is large with everything one would need to prepare a complex meal, excluding condiments and spice, so bring your own. Oil, coffee and salt and pepper are provided. The bedrooms are nice and comfy. The steel tub, in one of the bedrooms, is splendid. Plus there’s plenty of hot water to fill it! We sat in the pretty garden, it’s lush with mature shrubs and flowering plants…but be aware of the stinging nettle. My dog got her paws badly stung and I had brushed into some myself for a whole day of annoying tingling. Bring some Benadryl just incase. If you’re avid walkers, definitely explore the grounds, gardens, pond and tower, all stunning. It’s a large holding, lots to explore. Alexander was very responsive and accommodating. But book now, we noticed future prices are going up!

Eine sehr geräumige und gut ausgestattete Unterkunft. Alles war sehr sauber und der Garten ist wirklich groß. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und empfehlen die Unterkunft absolut weiter. Wir waren mit 6 Personen und einem Hund dort. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern lief unkompliziert und super freundlich. Vielen Dank für diesen tollen Aufenthalt!

What stunning views and such a tranquil location. Loved our stay and hosts were so accommodating when we were a little late and they opened up for our grocery delivery driver! We are a family of four with a dog and loved using the enclosed garden, bbq and fire pit. Beds are comfortable and showers are super. Even the sofa bed is great! Would stay again. The Garden Cottage was everything we hoped for and more. The location was very convenient to Stockbridge and all of its restaurants and shops. There are numerous bus stops within 10-20 mins walk to grab a quick bus up the hill into New Town, across Princes Gardens into Old Town, or even for easy day trips like to Rosslyn Chapel or Portobello. Victoria was a very accommodating host and easy to work with. The cottage had plenty of space, was very well equipped for self-catering, and was stocked with all the basics you need (e.g., coffee, tea, sugar, etc.). Having a washer and dryer (as well as a drying rack) was a luxury we’ve rarely seen in the UK or Europe.

Nous en avons appris sur la météo de l'Écosse (!) mais pour ce qui est du logement, rien à redire. Très apprécié; nous y retournerions sans la moindre hésitation. Hôtes conviviaux et attentifs.

This was a lovely stay. Our host was thoughtful in setting up the space and added little things that made our trip easy like laundry soap, fresh ground coffee, large towels set out in each guest room. It was definitely luxury and we felt very welcome in her home. Just far enough away to be quiet and spacious while still making the city accessible we walked everywhere except dinner out one evening.

This is a fun place to stay, in a quiet neighborhood with fairly reasonable parking options for those who are choosing to rent a car. Definitely take a look at bus routes etc, as we did not find this spot to be walkable to most highlited areas in Edinburgh. The bus was an easy 5 min walk from the space and we found it easy to navigate with Google Maps. Over all the places was very well kept, the host was fabulous. The Art in the home is ALL female paintings, books, posters etc... quirky or creepy you decide. So if you don't mind women staring you down from every window covering, painting, or poster then you'll enjoy your time in this art filled space.

Kate is a wonderful host, clear and timely communication and responsive to any issues. Her place is great, clean, comfortable, and provides good separation from family areas and sleeping areas, important when traveling with three generations of family. Location was perfect and remarkably quiet.

I have really enjoyed my stay and Catherine was very welcoming and friendly would definitely stay here again when up in Scotland. The flat was clean and tidy and the simple breakfast made it perfect to just relax without worrying about going to the shops.

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Anthony's apartment. It was spotlessly clean and was exactly as described. Easy check-in/check-out and Anthony kept in touch before, during and after our stay. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Edinburgh.
