Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Myoko

The host is a 5-star superhost. First, the apartment is super clean and well stocked. Host was thoughtful as when we check-in, the air-condition was already turned on and so was the aroma scent machine, making son feel so welcomed. The host also left snacks, milk and drinks for is in the fridge and even gave me a birthday cake, knowing it was my birthday. Such thoughtful host. They also left is tea and sweet potato snack at out door on our check out day and we will not hesitate to book this place again if we return to Karuizawa in winter. Definitely a good find and a good recommendation. Place was easy to find with google map and is within close proximity to many places and good food - we drive and parking just infront of the house is super convenient.

Great hosts and nice cozy chalet tucked away not too far from Akakura onsen and ski resort. There was a chalet manager, Mogi-san who spoke perfect fluent English (I think he’s probably American born and raised) - extremely helpful and responsive. We have all our needs attended to in a timely and effective manner - from requesting additional clothes hangers, to car emergency (snow/ice on road), Mogi-san was there for us through it all. The home is a good size for 10 (perhaps up to 12 people), with an extra dry room for your skiing/snowboarding gears, a pretty well equipped kitchen, large table for 10 people to sit around, and a cozy living room. Room downstairs is a tatami room whereas 4 room upstairs are standard big sized rooms with view out of every room.

My friends and the kids all had a fantastic time. Having the BBQ grill set ready for us was incredibly helpful. It meant we didn't have to do any major shopping, so we could just focus on enjoying ourselves. To be honest, the location felt quite deep in the mountains, but thanks to the signs, we got there without getting lost! We'd love to use your space again. Thank you!

We had a great stay in Nagano. The apartment was spacious for our family of four and had all the amenities. Short walk to restaurants and a 12 min walk to the train station. The host greeted us and gave us recommendations for restaurants and sights to see, which we appreciated greatly. We recommend Mikkun’s place.

素敵なお宿ありがとうございます。 寝具や食器、設備などの基本的な設備に加えて卓球台やマンガ、ボードゲームなど他にはないモノも用意されており、ホスピリティ溢れるお宿でした。 戸隠に訪れた際はまた利用させていただきたいです。

家族みんなでとても楽しく滞在する事ができました。またホストの方がすごい優しくぜひ宿泊して欲しいです。

6月上旬に 50代の女性2人で、1泊しました。 玄関ドアを開けて目にするのは、用意されたスリッパ、ちょっと履いて出られるサンダル。「ようこそ〜」とお迎えされているようで入った瞬間からリラックスできました。 全体的に広々していて、どこも清潔です。 築年数はそれなりに経っていそうですが、気になるような、においもありません。 6月の急に暑くなった日だったので、エアコンを利用しましたが、吹き出す風も清浄ですぐに冷え、快適でした。 キッチンには紅茶やお茶、コーヒーのパックのサービス。 浄水されたお水はほんのり甘みを感じ、おいしかったです。 カウンター下には充電用のケーブルもあり、友人は持ってくるのを忘れていたので、とても喜んでいました。 お風呂とトイレも別、LDKと寝室も別空間にあるので、眠い人は寝て、起きたい人は遠慮なく電気をつけて起きていられるので、お互いにリラックスできました。 キッチンにはたくさん入るショッピングバックがあり、スーパーのツルヤさんに行くときに使わせてもらいました。 こちらもただゲストへのサービスだけにとどまらず、使い捨てを減らすというお気持ちが元にあると知り(お部屋のルートブックを読みました)、さりげなく環境に配慮された工夫がいいなあと思いました。 ゴミの分別のルールもわかりやすく、押しつけがましさもないので、リラックスする中ですっと背が伸びるような感じで協力しようという気持ちになりました。 お手製のイラストマップや自転車の観光案内はとても参考になりました。 (おすすめの「雷滝」は迫力があって、行って本当によかったです！) 立地も便利で、小布施のメインストリートにも、スーパーのツルヤさんにも行けました。おやつを「栗の木テラス」さんからテイクアウト、夕食・朝食をツルヤさんで調達しました。 過ごしていて、とにかくいやな感じがなく、何気ないところまで行き届いていて心地よく過ごせました。 オーナー様のお人柄やゲストへのお心づかいが感じられました。 玄関ドアに直に書かれたOpen、Closeもちょっとしたことですが、ストレスを感じさせない工夫でした。(カギをどちらに回すかって意外と覚えていないんで。) おかげさまで、快適に過ごすことができました。ゆったり、ゆっくり過ごしたい方におすすめです。 ありがとうございました！

A beautiful home within a short walking distance from the train station. The host was proactive in communicating and very responsive! I recommend this place!

Great location, a few minutes walk from the restaurants/bars in town & from the lower chair lift. Above the cafe is super convenient for breakfast or food. Everyone was very helpful throughout our stay, would definitely be back!

The host is very responsive and kindly allows early check in when the house is ready. This is our 2nd time to stay here, everything is perfect.

We had a great stay at Omusubi. Ryuichi, as everyone else mentioned, is such a helpful and kind host who greeted us personally. He gave us great recommendations and is always responsive when we had questions. The place is a walk away from Cortina and a few mins drive from Norikura, so convenient for skiing. The whole unit is clean and spacious, and the heating is great! The only slightly downside is that the soundproofing isn’t so great, so you’d hear sounds from the next room and outside if there is significant noise. Thankfully the area doesn’t seem to be noisy so we weren’t too affected. Overall it is still an excellent option for the Hakuba area!

A really nice apartment, very well maintained and clean. Looks just like in the pictures. It is only a short walking distance from the Main Street with plenty of cafes and restaurants. The kitchen and dining area were great to do your own cooking. Very comfortable beds. The hosts always responded within minutes with recommendations and helpful advice. Great stay!

とてもきれいなお部屋でした。 お布団もひいてあり、夜に到着したので、すぐに寝ることができて良かったです。 隣に温泉施設があり、歩いて2分のところに神社と公園もあります。 観光も楽しめるし、ゆっくりと過ごすこともできます。 また利用したいと思います。 ありがとうございました。

Such a homely place! Place was big and there are lots of eateries around. Everything was perfect. Many facilities were provided which helped us a lot eg usage of washing machine. Will come again when I visit Matsumoto.

The cabin was a little secluded with small roads. But very beautiful surroundings and still near the main attractions. Great privacy and very well appointed accommodation. Highly recommend!

I could not recommend Villa Monochrome enough! Yasue was so helpful the whole time of our stay, she picked us up and dropped us off at the bus terminal for arrival and departure and even drove us to get groceries. She was helpful during our stay and really made us feel at home. The accommodation was beautiful and well equipped and the location is fantastic for snowsports at Happo One. Will definitely be staying again! Special mention for the Kotatsu (heated) table. That was such a lovely treat after a day on the mountain. 10/10 for Villa Monochrome.

ホストさんの人の温かさが素晴らしいです。 困ったことがあればすぐに対応してもらえました。 普段全国のヴィラやコテージを趣味で回ってるのですが このクオリティでこの価格は良い意味であり得ないと思ってます。 BBQを手ぶらで利用するためには+4500円 焚き木を楽しむには+2500円 掛かりますが、近くのホームセンターや持参もOKとのことです。 BBQセットは自由ですので炭などと食材を持っていけばオプション料金かからずすぐにできますね 大きな半露天風呂つきです 大人4人は入れます。キレイでした。 出来立ての宿泊施設で英語表記も完璧。 ここは近いうちに人気になりそうだと思います じゃらんや一休にも載せたら予約で埋まりそうだと思います(余計なおせっかいかもしれませんがw) 本当に素晴らしいご対応ありがとうございました

My kid and I had a great 4-night stay at the corner house. The location is perfect, peaceful yet close to restaurants, stores, and onsens. The well-stocked kitchen made meal prep a joy. It truly made our visit to Nozawaonsen extra special, a real gem!
