Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Nags Head

It was a great experience, if I’m ever back in the area I would definitely book this place again.

Connor was so welcoming and accommodating. Second time Renting this house and it’s always a pleasure visiting Kitty Hawk and staying in this home away from Home

Michael was an excellent host. The place was exactly as described. It has a beautiful fenced yard where our dogs were able to run when we were home. Very short walk to a clean, gorgeous beach. The house is comfortable and has all of the amenities we needed for our stay. The restaurant across the street had great food and cocktails, and we were only a short drive to anything in Duck or Corolla. I also cannot thank Michael enough for his communicativeness and understanding when we made a scheduling snafu. Truly an MVP. We would love to stay here again in the future and highly recommend Lowood Cottage.

We had a wonderful week at the cottage! The house is small but very cozy and well equipped. Kitchen had everything we needed to make a few meals. There were plenty of paper towels, garbage bags, toilet paper, soaps, etc. The bedrooms were comfortable and cozy. The bunk beds are a bit small for an adult person, but we made it work. The view from the deck is fantastic! Perfect to sit in the morning with a cup of coffee and watch the dolphins. It was by far the cleanest house we've ever rented, and Jennifer was very responsive form the time we checked in and check out. The beach access is very convenient, right in front of the house. We definitely hope to come back again! Thank you, Jennifer, for being a great host:-)

Petru place certainly will be one that I will check out again for availability. Kitchen was equipped with all the necessary equipment to keep me preparing a meal for my family without having to stop run to store because someone wasn’t on the shelf. Each I needed something I found it . The place is well maintained and freshly painted with nice furniture. I didn’t get a chance to use the outside grill this time. Therefore I will come again. This place was perfect! The space was spotless, stylish, and exactly as pictured—maybe even better. Check-in was seamless, and the host went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome, even leaving a few thoughtful extras that made a big difference. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, with great restaurants and shops nearby. The bed was super comfortable, and we had everything we needed for a relaxing, hassle-free stay. We honestly didn’t want to leave. Highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting the area!

We enjoyed our stay here. The house is organized and so clean. I love the little things that the host have for the guests like sound machines and boardgames which is very thoughtful. They also very responsive and friendly whenever we reach out to them.

This was such the perfect place for a weekend getaway! Super close to the beach and the sound and the bikes were a great additional!

We had a great stay at the electric turtle. It was about a 30 second drive to the public beach parking and we never had an issue finding a spot. It would probably be about a 5 minute walk to the beach but we opted to drive because the highway is very busy and a little difficult to cross. There were also multiple bars and restaurants a short drive away. There were only two of us but there was plenty of space for a group of friends or a family. The covered deck was a great place for morning coffee and had two sets of chairs and tables to also enjoy breakfast at. The deck even had a gait which was perfect for our puppy to be able to enjoy the morning sun with us. We had no issues at all and would definitely recommend to a friend and stay again.

We had such a great visit staying with Kristy! It was like staying with a family friend- she was so flexible with our late check-in, she was welcoming and accommodating. She had great recommendations for places to check out and even offered us beach extras like umbrellas, blankets, surfboards, and more. She made us feel right at home from the minute we arrived! The place is exactly as described. Even though it’s attached to her home, the apartment is completely separate with its own entrance. You get a full size fridge, basic kitchen amenities, a comfy bed and even an extra trundle bed which is new! It was less than a 3 min drive to the beach which was so convenient, and surrounded by fun shops, restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores. We would definitely return!

We loved our stay at James’ condo. The location is away from the hustle and bustle but still close enough to get to everything within minutes. The condo itself is directly across from the pool, which was perfect for us. Our kids loved walking around the marina and watching all the boats. The condo is updated, very clean, and had everything we needed. James was very responsive with any questions we had. We can’t wait to go back!

The location of this Airbnb was perfect and Gia the host provided ample recommendations and helpful information making our stay even more relaxing and enjoyable. The accommodations were just like the pictures, very clean, and the hot tub was amazing. Would love to stay here again on our next visit to OBX.

The home was clean and instructions were very easy to follow. Since we were looking for a peaceful location on this trip, it fit the bill. The view was worth the cost. We knew there would be others around, as it was described accurately and clearly as a condo community. Supplies were very sufficient for us, and the owners were responsive. Enjoyed this trip!
