Lauren and Sam This was a very lovely place right next to the lake. Can see the lake from the bed and there is heaps of ducks. Lauren and Sam were kind and responsive while also making sure your experience was private.

What a fantastic house to stay in, it really feels like you are in Italy. It was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. It was lovely to have the open fire for the colder nights and the well setup outside area for the warm sunny days. There were heaps of activities and games to play. We loved our family stay here.

Coming from a busy town, my partner and I wanted a getaway from all the noise and just the busy lifestyle that we have and the chalet was the perfect place for us to stay at and recharge mentally before getting back to reality. The privacy that you get as well as the surrounding of the beautiful nature was a bonus for us too. Definitely would recommend to those that need this kind of getaway or just a peaceful getaway in general. If you get the chance to meet the hosts, Charles and Nikki, they’re very welcoming and lovely people too!

Absolutely stunning place! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the view is spectacular. We took advantage of the winter package which made it more affordable. The house has everything you need and more. It was great to have the hot tub there.

Chris was a lovely host, the unit is compact and comfortable and has all of your basic amenities. My kids loved the spa pool, nothing better than unwinding in a hot tub after a long day of sightseeing! would definitely love to come back and stay in the future, maybe our next visit to hobbiton.

We spent 3 busy months traveling across New Zealand with our baby and we had the privilege of staying at Anne’s for our very last week. It was a week in paradise: an incredible view of farmland and mountains, songbirds galore, a beautiful citrus orchard and two incredible hosts who welcomed us like family. The place was spotless and so nicely decorated, generously equipped with everything you need. We had lots of room for our bub, whether for playing, eating or sleeping. The outdoor tub was a real treat, both for baby bath time and for stargazing at night! Anne went out of her way to make us feel at home and was so generous with our little one. He got to meet and feed farm animals and spent lots of time enjoying their swing. The location was ideal for a peaceful retreat, yet central for discovering the peninsula’s east coast. For hikers wanting to go off the beaten path, there are accessible tracks nearby. Staying here meant soaking in NZ’s best before heading home!

Stunning week away over Easter. We arrived a few hours after a cyclone, which meant no power and water. Anneke was great with all communication about the situation. We chose to stay hoping the power would be back on soon. The next day it was. Meanwhile, Anneke bought us wine and coffee and then arranged a generator so we could shower and charge phones etc. Then we had six glorious days of sunshine with the odd shower. We love walking, so explored all the local walks in the booklets and info guide. Every afternoon we relaxed on the deck just watching the ocean and boats. We ended our days with an outdoor bath, which was Devine. Anneke was a wonderful host. A true legend. The Bach was beautiful, clean, new and private. Highly recommend.

We had a great weekend at this house, the views were incredible and we loved sitting out on the deck. Lots of gorgeous spots nearby to visit. The house was reasonably well stocked and Alan was responsive to messages and sorting out any problems. Thanks for a great stay.

Beautiful location and sea views with access through 2 gates taking you to the rocky bay. Huge fully fenced yard great for our dog Judge and our 3 year old son. The chest of games and toys went down a treat for both and the 3 bdrm house had everything we could need for a weekend get away. The house was also lovely and warm AND we could see the mountain from the entrance way. Would definitely come back again. Thanks for having us, great hosts!

Feeling very refreshed after 2 lovely days spent at the magical Bethells Beach. Mary’s spot is a so peaceful, cosy and the perfect location to unwind for the weekend. Mary was incredibly helpful and kind and provided some great suggestions of the area. An extra special treat is Mary making us a yummy breakfast with eggs from her 4 local ladies and a delicious cup on coffee. It truly was a 5* stay and we can’t wait to come back.

I booked Emma's place for my bridal team to get ready in. Space-wise, it was perfect, gorgeous views, and amazing communication with the host. We had a slight hiccup with the microwave not being cleaned properly, but Emma was so quick to resolve the issue that it was like it never happened. 10/10 recommend!!

What a beautiful space. If you a looking for a fantastic holiday home for a couple or small family this is the place to be. Right across the road from the beach. So tidy and warm very clean. Mark was amazing! We enjoyed our stay and will be back for sure!!! Thanks for making our trip to Ohope special.

Great location with amazing view. Modern house with everything you need. Really liked the fully enclosed yard, very safe and private. Beautiful sunny spot on the doorstep of so many great things to do and see. Very convenient access to shops for essentials. Highly recommended Marks place and Coopers Beach for a great family holiday.

Fantastic place. So peaceful, set in beautiful grounds with all day sun. Easy walking distance to town, best of both worlds. A great spot to explore the Hawke’s Bay region from. The Pavilion was lovely and warm and had a great modern vibe. Nick and Judy were very helpful and welcoming. Would happily stay here again and would highly recommend it.

We loved the dinner by Gina. Our stay was short but we enjoyed the cottage and the farm animals.

Mark’s AirBnB is an experience rather than a stay. Is a combination of coastal rural Nz right on the doorstep (short boat ride away) from a bustling town Raglan where there are 5 star restaurants, super markets and everything you would need or expect. And the accomodation itself is nestled on a cliff top with 180 views of the harbour and if Raglan. Private, the feeling of seclusion and neighbour free - the best of both worlds made better by a host that balances your needs with respectful distance. Make a pizza in the wood fired oven and then warm your bones in the spa boat and arching the harbour u til the sun melts away listening to birds evening song. We can’t wait to head back and hopefully catch the big uncle of the 12 lb snapper we caught in the raglan harbour!!! Outstanding place.

Absolutely loved this property, we felt instantly at home - it’s very comfortable. Being elevated from the road, the view of the lake is wonderful and the sunsets are stunning! Bayley is a great communicator which is always appreciated. We would definitely book this property again - thank you.

We had a great time staying here during our family’s visit to Rotorua. Joe was extremely communicative and helpful, ensuring it was easy for us to get into the house and had everything we needed for our family of young kids. We loved the location and the beautiful views and hope to be back to take advantage of all the wonderful amenities!

Very lovely and quiet. Would recommend for a peaceful getaway

This was our second visit to Atatu and we weren't disappointed. This is a truly beautiful place to stay. The house is fantastic with every facility you could possibly need. A place for total relaxation with pool, spa and space. Beautiful countryside and the sounds of nature on your doorstep. Panoramic views across rolling hills of olive and pine nut trees out to the ocean beyond. If you like to cook then you'll find everything you need in the well appointed kitchen. Lots of dining space both inside and out. Basia is the ultimate host. Informative, helpful, proactive, doing everything she can to make sure your stay is perfect. We had a wonderful stay and hope to return a third time next year.

We had a lovely stay, complete with a tour of the farm and feeding the cattle and ducks - my kids thought that was amazing! Alison is fantastic with online communication, and was very patient with my excited children on the tour! Both Alison and Drew are lovely, and their property is immaculate. The house was well equiped with everything we needed, and very warm and comfortable. We would love to come back- especially in warmer weather so we can use the pool more!
