Great location especially for cruises. Good facilities. Restaurants within walking distance . Would suggest inclusion of a step stool as the dryer opening is quite high and visually difficult to see contents. A quicker response time from host would be appreciated for urgent/ time limited queries.( current response time via AirBnB is too long!)

Caroline and Markus were such beautiful hosts. responsive when needed help and adaptable when I was in pickle. I was hosting friends from over seas and this place made for a really easy and meaningful time. especially having the native wildlife right outside the window. Will definitely come here again if I ever need. much thanks!

If we had known how nice it was, we would have stayed longer! The view over the beach in front is to die for and there is another beach behind. We enjoyed the walk to the lighthouse and the seal colony. The house was modern and in tip top shape, the bed was very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was excellent. The hosts were delightful. One of the best places we have stayed at in New Zealand!

We had a lovely stay at The Grange. Don and Ros were great hosts - responsive, accomodating and gave lots of local recommendations. The view from the place was spectacular and seeing their farm animals was an added bonus especially for the kids. The place was clean and had all the amenities we needed for our 3-night stay.

We had such a wonderful stay in this beautiful apartment. Such a fantastic location with an outstanding view of the water and so close to everything on the viaduct, downtown auckland and Britomart too. The apartment was so warm and cosy despite it being the start of winter. We didn’t once have to put the heating on at all! The bed was comfy, furniture was great and the apartment was spacious and relaxing with a full kitchen, which was so fantastic. It is right on the waterfront so close to lovely heritage walks around the pier and lots of fabulous restaurants and shopping. We also went to Waiheke Island on the ferry, which was only a few minutes walk from the apartment. Excellent security and always felt really safe. There is a bottle store downstairs (literally) and a Woolworths Metro within a 5 minute walk. Super-sunny on the deck and a lovely view, even if raining! Thanks so much guys, this was our favourite place to stay in all our visits to Auckland and we would love to come back!

If you're looking for a chic apartment in downtown Auckland for a couple or on your own, then this place ticks all your boxes. Fabulous shopping, restaurants and cafes right almost on your doorstep not to mention the ferry terminal almost across the road and Britomart transport hub almost next door. Saying, that it is quiet for an inner city apartment. Lloyd is very friendly and responsive and has great taste in furnishing and art! Just a cool place and location and would highly recommend.

Apartment was clean and tidy. Only downside was that it didn't have the view of the sky tower that was advertised in the photos.

Really great deal and beautiful surroundings, highly recommend if you are wanting a nice relaxing stay.

Second stay in Vanya’s lovely flat. Highly recommend for location, amenities, comfort and Vanya was helpful, communicative and welcoming.

Central apartment with all full equipped kitchenette that you can actually use. The ventilation kept cooking odor away from the rest of the room. The dishwasher was just enough big enough and a great help for us. Unfortunately all electricity stopped when the hotel key card was removed - including the dishwasher. Not sure why it was installed like this. We managed our way around this limitation. You can not open the windows but the air condition is powerfull enough to cool to heat the room quickly.

Our stay at Monarch Manor was exceptional. Kathy and her family went above and beyond to accommodate us during a difficult four-week period involving medical treatments. Her compassion and flexibility meant the world to us. We were looking for peace and found it here—serene gardens, quiet reflection spots, and a warm, welcoming apartment. The space, styled in cozy Art Deco, was spotless and fully equipped, from a stocked pantry and fresh flowers to extension cords and chargers. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the luxurious double shower was a standout. Thoughtful touches included extra linens, books, puzzles, and more available upon request. Staff were friendly and always happy to chat. Located just five minutes from the Plaza and close to scenic river walks, it’s perfectly situated. Kathy’s attention to detail and genuine care made all the difference. Monarch Manor is a true home away from home, and I can’t recommend it enough. I can't say enough wonderful things!

What a stunning location! My kids absolutely loved staying here, they were very reluctant to leave. The hopped between pool and tennis courts as much as they could. They had fun looking out for bunnies in the evening too. We were close to Matakana village, easy to pop out if needed. The Bach was great, very clean and tidy. The beds were so comfortable, perfect place to rest after a fun day. Highly recommend staying here.

I really enjoyed my stay, especially the view from the outdoor pool and spa! Dirk was great at communicating and helpful throughout the stay. Definitely worth staying here 🙂

We loved this spot. Wendy’s was super clean and a perfect setup for 3 adults, 2 little kids and a small dog. Better than the photos show! The location was ideal as well - easy to walk out and get about Paihia. We hope to stay here again in the future!
