Really enjoyed our stay, very peaceful setting looking out over farmland, beautiful sunrise view, and handily close to shops and a supermarket, and beaches and coastal walkway for doggo walking. Definitely recommend.

Excellent stay all round, we had some very cold windy wild weather during our stay but were perfectly happy in the beautiful space with plenty of heating options. Loved the views and managed to catch the Aurora to the South over the lake which was the icing on the cake!

A beautiful view from every room and a heated pool was great in winter! I had a birthday party here and all my guests enjoyed their stay.

This is one of the most beautiful houses I have ever stayed in. Piecful environment, breathtaking views captured so well by the house design. Every corner of the property is an art piece. We are traveling with the family members that arrived from the USA to NZ for the first time, and they were speechless when they saw entire New Zealand beauty from one balcony. Highly recommending! Kitchen is very well equipped, rooms and beds are super comfortable. Felt like staying in s 5 star hotel, but much much better. thanks so much!

Absolutely incredible stay! The setting was breathtaking—peaceful, private, and surrounded by nature. I truly didn’t want to leave. Silv and Steve went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable time, and their warm hospitality made the experience even more special. Everything was just as described, if not better. Sky House was perfect – stunning views, peaceful and homely. Spotlessly clean with everything we needed. Ideal for families, close to nature walks and beautiful bays. A serene escape from the hustle and bustle. The sunsets were unforgettable. Truly a magical spot we’ll definitely be back.

Kay’s cottage is gorgeous, looks exactly as the pictures do. The surroundings are something else and having access to the kayaks, paddle boards and dingy were a great assets. We arrived on a stunning Autumn day and go out onto the ocean right away.. Three bedroom are all close together upstairs and downstairs was a cosy open plan kitchen dining lounge area. The road there isn’t for the faint of heart but when you get there it’s very much worth it!! We wish we stayed longer.

We loved every minute of our stay here in Raglan- and this ocean-view oasis was the perfect home base to relax and enjoy the scenery. The view was, of course, incredible- we watched surfers in the waves for hours. We greatly enjoyed the amenities like the hot tub and sauna, and found the location to be perfect, with just a short drive into the town with coffee shops & restaurants, and close to the beaches where we spent most of our time. We absolutely loved our stay here and hope to come back!

This is an absolutely charming apartment to stay in and we enjoyed it immensely. Lynne is the perfect host - warm and welcoming but also attentive to our needs. There was a selection of goodies when we arrived and she baked the most amazing fresh muffins for us the following morning. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated with an inspiring collection of furniture and framed photographs. There is also a bookcase with a discerning and eclectic collection of books if you’re interested in reading- which I was. The real highlight of the apartment is the view. There is wide, expansive view of Auckland’s harbour and you are not overlooked by any of the neighbouring houses. Sitting there on the super comfy couch, with a cup of tea while looking out on the water is simply bliss. Overall, this a marvellous place to stay and simply on a higher level to many other similar apartments. We highly recommend it and will certainly come back.

Breathingtakingly beautiful place with a stunning view of the lake. The living room was huge and cozy, filled with clean energy flowing throughout the space. The fireplace was such a huge bonus, especially on a cold wintry night. Stuart was friendly, responsive and communicative throughout our stay. We will love to come back! 10/10 recommend!

Fantastic stay and everything was as describe and easy to get around.

They were incredibly flexible with both early check-in and late check-out. I’ve stayed in Auckland several times, but this was by far the best host I’ve ever had!

I really recommend staying at Barb's place, it's got everything you would need for a short or longer stay. There's lots to do in the area and Barb gave some great recommendations and helpful information. As a host Barb is the best I've ever had, fast response time, friendly and very helpful, she really goes above and beyond!

Feeling very refreshed after 2 lovely days spent at the magical Bethells Beach. Mary’s spot is a so peaceful, cosy and the perfect location to unwind for the weekend. Mary was incredibly helpful and kind and provided some great suggestions of the area. An extra special treat is Mary making us a yummy breakfast with eggs from her 4 local ladies and a delicious cup on coffee. It truly was a 5* stay and we can’t wait to come back.

We had an amazing four night stay here. The apartment was excellently furnished, the location effectively on the lakefront was fantastic and the outlook across the lake to Mount Tarawera was beautiful. We could not have wished for more. Thank you Murray for being such a great host

We had a lovely stay in Katharine's spacious and stunning studio. Loved the decor and peaceful and beautiful garden. We had all we needed including a pod coffee machine, great shower and very cosy and comfortable bed. Thank you so much Katharine ❤️

The apartment was just what we needed. spacous, clean, tidy and close to the town centre.

Richard was an excellent host. The instructions for the home were clear and uncomplicated. The home itself was clean and I have nothing to complain about. I enjoyed some oranges and lemon off the tree at the back. It was a great stay and my only regret is I did not have time to read any of the novels on the bookshelf.
