Sitting room has a queen Murphy bed, coffee and wine bar with microwave, mini refrigerator, coffee maker (coffee and tea supplied), and dishes, utensils. Bathroom is Jack and Jill style w/ 2 vanities and standing shower.

Adobe Casita Behind Balloon Fiesta- Pet Friendly

This adobe casita is a special place – washed in sunlight, quiet and tucked into a half acre with grass, trees, flowers, rabbits and birds. Located right behind the Balloon Fiesta grounds and is just a few minutes drive, it is only 15-20 minutes from downtown Albuquerque and about 50 minutes from Santa Fe. Plenty of outdoor space in which to relax and soak up the sun. And great Wifi for remote work. The casita sits on the same lot as a larger house that is occupied by a long-term tenant.

Vintage Airstream near Albuquerque

Come stay at our small homestead in this 1974 Airstream. This cute, clean camper is set next to our paddock with horses, chickens and a few roosters (they will crow a lot), and our large alert dogs (they will bark). We are in the county, so we have a slightly rural feel and are a short haul from downtown (13 mi.) and the airport (17 mi.). Beautiful walk to the river (1 mi.). Come and go as you please. This is NOT a luxurious, quiet retreat, but it is a safe, unique and happy one!

The home was built 1973 by Architect Bill Shelton, and the guest apartment was added in 1974 for his daughter. This home has been completely renovated. High vaulted wood beam ceilings & clearstory windows give the home an expansive & luxurious feel with lots of natural light. Our guest house is behind the main house in a lovely and historic downtown Albuquerque neighborhood. There are many seating areas to enjoy in the spacious backyard. We are located within walking distance of Slow Burn Coffee, Rumor Pizza, Golden Crown Panaderia, Marble Brewery, Tiguex Park, Old Town, Explora, the local famer’s market, Lowes Grocery Store, and Civic Plaza.

The Blue Door

The Blue Door Suite in Albuquerque’s far north valley sits separately inside a one hundred year old adobe home. Guests have a private entrance into a cozy yard with large shade trees, an herb garden and seating for dining, morning coffee, or just relaxing. The Blue Door is next to a clean working farm, so you can often hear the roosters and goats singing their songs.
