Bed & Breakfast in our 1840s brick-built railway cottage in Helensburgh on the River Clyde close to Loch Lomond. We are nestled behind tall buildings so we do not have a scenic view. We offer off-road parking and secure bicycle storage in our shed. Helensburgh marks the start of the John Muir Way and the Three Lochs Way distance walks. The West Highland Way and several other walks are nearby.. For climbers, Ben Lomond, the Conic Hill and Ben Arthur (The Cobbler) are a short drive away.

The house stands on its own in a rural setting and is close to the ferry for the Island of Kerrera. The view from the house is over looking the Sound of Kerrera with yachts, fishing boats and ferries passing by. It's two miles to Oban which has a large choice of places to eat. There is virtually no public transport to the house. Taxis are available from the railway station area in the town. Visitors are asked to arrive after 17.00 hours and on the morning of departure to leave by 10.00.

The Bothy Suite is in the 'hidden village' of Slockavullin , delightfully rural but only 1 mile from the village of Kilmartin with Pub, museum and cafe. Temple Wood and the standing stones are in walking distance with the Crinan Canal a short drive or cycle. The guest accommodation does have a seperate entrance and the whole of the ground floor is for guest use with 2 double bedrooms and modern bathroom consisting of double width shower, sink and toilet. Breakfast is continental.

Fair Winds Bed and Breakfast (En-suite bedroom)

This room has a king sized bed with private bathroom, TV Wi/Fi . The view from the window is overlooking the Morar River estuary. There is a hospitality tray in your room with tea and coffee. There is no self catering or access to our kitchen. Breakfast is served downstairs in the dining room, usually between 8am -9am. Earlier breakfast can be arranged. There is plenty of parking in the driveway. Please note that we are on the Mainland. We are not on the Isle of Skye

Bright, spacious South Side room

Fab traditional Glasgow tenement in the leafy south side. The city centre is an easy reach by public transport. Great cafes and eateries in walking distance. Times Top 30 wine bar (with great food) right across the road in a string of independents… corner shop, pizza stop, restaurants, deli, green grocers. Walking distance to Tramway art centre, Hidden Gardens, Bellahouston Park for gigs, Burrell (UK Museum of the Year) and several parks.

Modern apartment Oban free parking

Free private off road parking. Our studio apartment is comfortable and spacious with kitchen facilities and bathroom. Towels and bedding supplied as well as handsoap in bathroom, no other other toiletries are provided. The area is quiet and only approx 3 minutes drive from the town centre, a 10-15 min walk or a regular bus service every half hour throughout the day_ the closest bus stop about 150 mtrs from the house.
