Apartment holiday rentals in Oban

We had such a great time -- I highly recommend staying here if visiting Oban. The apartment has had a lot of care put into making it feel like a home. The kitchen is fully functional, the beds are comfortable, and we appreciated the washing machine (and dryer, which is rare for an airbnb!). The outside patio has an amazing view of town, the islands to the west and the sunset. Anuschka and Axel are great hosts and provided some starter groceries because of our late arrival on the train and greeted us when we arrived. And the location in town is excellent -- groceries, cafes, restaurants, the bookstore, the green-roof seafood shack and the Oban distillery are all walkable within about 5 minutes. Overall highly recommended.

it was a perfect apartment in a perfect location ...Surrounded by wildlife and so peaceful overlooking Kererra Sound...we saw a seal swimming one evening! only 20 minute easy walk to Oban. plenty of restaurants but Lidl and Tesco 1 mile away if you prefer to cook and eat alfresco overlooking the Sound. Irene a wonderful host who gives so much information on places to visit etc and very quick to respond. it was a wonderful week and would highly recommend it to others...

We stayed two nights and it exceeded our expectations. It was beautiful, had a great view and was in the perfect spot in relation to restaurants, activities and transportation. We would stay again in the future!

Wow wow wow what a place, this apartment is beautiful and spacious absolutely perfect, it has everything and more ! The views wow ! You could have sat at the window in any room and watch the world go by. I am finding it hard to put into words how beautiful this apartment was… step out your door and you are onto the stunning front of Oban, this is a brilliant located property especially if you have a disability, easy access with a lift, as soon as you walk in you can see it is well cared for ( fresh flowers in entrance and a lovely smell throughout). Nice welcome package upon arrival, lovely bedding, good comfortable beds, towels, lovely carpet under your feet just wonderful. We will definitely be back and recommend to family and friends, thank you for making our holiday extra special 😊

Highly recommend! I stayed for 4 days by myself and this was an excellent base for exploring Oban. The town has a lower section and higher section and this flat is located in the lower section, which made it extremely convenient to go back to throughout the day if I needed something, instead of having to hike up the hill. What it lacked in view, it made up for in convenience - plus if you are outside all day, it doesn't matter as much. Had everything needed for cooking, washing, storing clothes, etc - very comfortable. The hosts are top notch - from before I arrived and through the visit, always responsive. I had a small issue in the bathroom and it was resolved within hours. Also, to address the other review: there is no issue w the toilet, no problem w the key/lock and the linens are pristine. I didn't notice much noise from any trucks for the distillery. People do walk by the window up Jacob's Ladder but it was not a problem and still felt safe and private enough for me.

We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation is cozy and very clean. The kitchen is very well-equipped and everything is within short walking distance from the centre. We would happily return.

This apartment was lovely. It was spotless, centrally located, and had easy check-in and check-out processes. I was permitted to leave my bags with the concierge after check-out saved me so much hassle and money. The space felt safe and comfortable.

What a fabulous place to stay. So much to discover. Loved the single track road to Oban, especially spending time just watching the highland cows and calves. Oban itself was wonderful and had The Best Fish and Chip shop ever!!! (As recommended by Rick Stein). The grounds of Lonan house were superb and led to many varied walks. The apartment was a real home from home. Glencoe is only a stones throw away and although we didn’t get to visit Mull or Kererra the majesty of these islands brings tears to my eyes when I stand and observe them from the harbour in Oban. After a week in the bosom of Lonan House we genuinely did not want to leave. Thank you to Elaine and Malcolm for all the little extra touches that made us and our two little dogs feel so welcome.

We had a fantastic stay at Emma and Steven's apartment. It was spotless, cosy and fully equipped for a relaxing break. We really liked the location, with great walks nearby and Oban just a short drive away. Be sure to visit the newly reopened Taynuilt Inn at the end of the road - a great spot to unwind after a day of exploring.

Honestly, one of the best Airbnb that we’ve done. Thanks for the stay and we will definitely recommend for our friends and familiy that wants to explore the Scottish Highlands.

Sharyn's place was just what we were looking for in staying in Oban: not far up the hill from the town centre yet in a quiet road with a stunning view across the Firth to Mull. Very comfortable and well-equipped apartment with plenty of space for the two of us. Sharyn was very helpful although we had no need for further assistance during the stay as everything was very clear and clean, with some added nice extra touches. Highly recommended!

The hosts were so great at communicating throughout our stay and gave great recommendations. It is such a good stay for a mixed group/couples with 4 rooms and 4 bathrooms. Oban was a wonderful place to visit and the location of the air bnb was central and didn’t involve any hills to get to!

Lorraine’s place was great, big living space and comfortable beds with an apartment full of great amenities. 9 of us across 2 apartments was very spacious. Would definitely stay here again. 5/5

We had a fantastic stay! It was even prettier than the pictures, the view was amazing, and it was super clean and easy to use. That hot tub was a great bonus. We loved it and can't wait to come back. Such a peaceful place to stay at!

Loved our time here. Exactly as described. Beautiful accommodation with a lovely view. Hot-tub was a nice touch at the end of a day exploring the local area. We had dinner in the restaurant in the attached hotel. Food was good and staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend if you are visiting. We would stay here again. 🌸

Lesley was a welcoming, kind and friendly host. Everything was perfect in the apartment and exactly as described. It was helpful to have her living on site as she could assist us with any issues immediately; especially with bad weather warnings and giving directions and tips about the area. She was flexible with the checkout times due to the snow which helped us alot. She facilitated our pet cat very well. We are grateful to her for sharing her beautiful home so warmly and generously. We highly recommend this location as its beautiful and would come again. We give Lesley a full, 5 star thumbs up for her impeccable service. Thanks!

Calling the Flora Apartment "home" for the duration of our stay was the best decision we made for our trip! All of us lived extremely comfortably and thoroughly enjoyed all the amenities that come with your stay. The property was nothing short of beautiful and the location could not have been beat! I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone staying in the area and do hope to again myself!
