We had a great stay at the lake cottage. We enjoyed the amazing view from the cabin and the beautiful nature. There were many opportunities for activities we walked the lake around, boating, being in the hot tub and sauna with a deep in the lake. An absolutely amazing place that we would like to visit again: -)

We had an incredible week, the place is beautiful, removed from everything but not from the essential, tranquility. We used the jacuzzi every night at midnight and the sun was still there, shy but present. The accommodation is very cozy, nothing is missing, the bedding is perfect and yet we are fragile in the back, the air conditioning is very appreciable at night when it is a little hot. We're less than 20 minutes from everything. Breakfast in the morning in the sun on the terrace is really paradise here. Christian is a good and kind person and he has a very interesting past, he has an easy smile and a very playful and cute little dog. In short, we spent a dream week in an idyllic place, go there with your eyes closed, you will not be disappointed. Ingrid and Yohann Thanks Christian.

The house is beautiful and wonderfully quiet, on a quasi private lake with a neighboring house. Apart from deer and birds, we have not seen any other living creatures in the time. Perfect for relaxing and getting rid of stress! Despite the changeable weather, we had a wonderful time, as you can also do something on bad days, e.g. drive into Gothenburg. All in all, I can only highly recommend this house and the location!

This home is a five star plus. The view, the yard, the sauna, the hot tub, the simple and lovely decor all contributed to a wonderful two week vacation for my husband and I. During our stay we had a minor medical emergency and Peter responded with support, suggestions and care. We felt completely taken care of thanks to Peter and his neighbors. We waited 2 years to be able to stay here and it was worth the wait. We will definitely return!

Oscar was very accommodating and welcoming us even though they were sick. We immediately felt at home in the cabin and the terrace - was very homely. Nice and tidy with fresh towels and bed linens! Bonus was that we got to jump on their trampoline and that there is a big nice forest just behind that you can walk in a small path. Very remote, peaceful and lovely environment! We really came in close contact to nature with just a stone's throw away. It really made our night for all of us with the forest and the distant existence! There were also utensils to cook with and make coffee etc. Also two nice and cozy cats on the property who are very cuddly and loved to be petted. We took care of the sauna ourselves and went so well! The jacuzzi was small shade of green in the water, we expected more glass clear and blue water. However, harmlessly and Oscar has a pool sensor, so we compromised the price and got along well. Great pleasure and really recommend Oscar and his cabin!

Rådanäs was our favorite host on our travels so far. We've hopping airbnbs globally every week or other week for the past 7 months, so this is a big compliment. You'll find that the property is more immaculate than can be shows on pictures. The lake, the sauna view out to the lake, the expanse of the property and everything that Rådanäs has built, and even the beautiful home itself. Another twist: Unfortunately, I sprained my ankle during my stay but fortunately Rådanäs was there to help. He made the recovery and journey around Göteborg (Gothenberg) much easier -- helping us around and dropping us off to the train station. Not that this is included lol But it is a testament to his hospitality and kindness. We look forward to returning to Sweden, and will absolutely make this our home. Thank you, Rådanäs!

We (2adults with kids 8 and 5 years old) spent one week in this cozy cottage. We had such a great time full of peace joy and happiness. If you like to enjoy the Sweden nature on its best you need to stay at this beautiful place. The included canoe and outdoor kitchen were absolutely highlights. The lake is not that much good for a fishing trip cause it seems to be empty of fish. Unfortunately. But we saw a moose in the wild instead. The self check in was simple and all the other things you need to know how to use were unmistakeable declared. Thank you both for an unforgettable week

Our family of four had a great time staying there. We enjoyed jogging in the morning, walking to the beach, admiring the beautiful swedish homes and the peace and tranquility of the area. The house was very comfortable and well-equipped. We enjoyed our meals on the terrace while our kids played in the garden. Gunilla is a great host - helpful, friendly and very accommodating. We'd highly recommend this place.

The ONLY problem with this place is that we couldn’t stay for longer because it was the end of our Sweden tour. It is AMAZING here. Best hosts, incredible breakfast, GORGEOUS house, great sauna, wooden decks, cool design, soft fluffy beautiful bed that felt like sleeping on a cloud. I am literally crying as I drive away because it was so incredibly beautiful and the hosts were awesome. Go here! You will NOT regret it!

What a wonderful stay! Matilda is amazing and answered any questions I had. I got to meet all her animals as well. The view overlooking the lake is beautiful.

Unfortunately, we only spent one night in this accommodation during our transit, but would have liked to have stayed longer. The location is great right on the water, especially with the wonderful view from the window above the bed. The decor is very nice and cozy and despite the compact size everything you need is available. Even drinks, fruit and fresh flowers were available. We can definitely highly recommend this place.

We have stayed 3 nights (2 adults and 2 teens and cockerpoo) in the beautiful cottage, which is surrounded by nature. Every morning, we could walk to the bridge in less than 5 minutes and take a refreshing morning dip. Short distance to good hiking trails and to Marstrand. Annelie and Pelle were very sweet and welcoming and we even got a guided hike with Annelie in the area as well as good tips for activities. The cottage is well suited for mini holidays. If you are more than 2 people for a longer period of time, you may miss a sofa or more soft chairs. We'd love to come another time.

Such a nice gem, bright and close to nature for enjoyable days all year round. Practical for us with a dog who could be out on the porch and swim in the lake. Ended our days with a visit to the Spinneriet in Lindome, simply a hit!

We stayed a week in the small but fine cabin. Two adults and one dog can find a wonderful place there. We especially liked quiet nature and the beautiful surroundings. With my sup I was on the water for hours in good weather, just great! One day we borrowed Marie's kayak, which worked great. Overall, of course, rather a small house, but with a lot of charm and everything you need!

A beautiful lodge in a great lakeside location. Highly recommended for a relaxing and scenic getaway!

Peggy and Pär were truly wonderful hosts. They went above and beyond to help me settle in, offering great local recommendations and assisting with plans to make my stay memorable. They were incredibly responsive and always happy to help. Their property has so much to enjoy—kayaks, a bbq grill, and a shared sauna were all available and added to the relaxing atmosphere. The cabin itself was just as described in the photos: clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The location is also very convenient—just 2.5 km from the nearest train station, one stop from the charming town of Alingsås, and about 30 minutes by train or car from Gothenburg. Highly recommended! I would absolutely love to come back.

Nice and idyllic little accommodation, nice bed and super fresh bathroom. Karl-Magnus was very nice and helpful and made it easy for us to navigate Marsstrand. Recommended!

We feel lucky to have booked this accommodation with Erica for our two night stay. The location is unique and special - gorgeous sea views with direct access to the water. The home had everything we could need and plenty of space for three adults. We visited during a cool period, but in the warmer months the expansive outdoor space and seating would be so relaxing. It was new construction and everything was functional, tidy, and stylish. Erica was amazingly responsive, and answered/resolved any question immediately. As we were traveling internationally, this was a comfort to know we were being taken care of. I would highly recommend this property and would love to come visit again, hopefully for a longer stay!

Beautiful traditional Swedish retreat. Near nature reserve and 40 minutes drive to Gotenburg.

Compact accommodation with all necessary commodities. A plus for private parking. In close proximity to Marstrand's sea hotel and the ferry to Marstrandsön. Can be recommended!
