The Birch ply interior, wool carpet and heat pump create a warm and cosy vibe. The Barn is set in a rural landscape overlooking a lovely large pond inhabited by local birdlife. Approx 10-15 mins drive from Dunedin city centre and 3 mins to historic Port Chalmers and some of the best beaches and coastal scenery Otago has to offer all nearby.

Location is between Wanaka and the airport and only a minute or two drive to the lavender farm. The unit is attached to our shed, it has 1 bedroom, bathroom and an open plan kitchen/dining/lounge with excellent indoor outdoor flow. Owned by a young family, please make sure you’re ok with hearing kids living their best life as we live next door

Coastal Soul came into existence when my husband living at home with Alzheimers and I felt I needed to have something else in my life as well. Our little unit/cottage where a family friend had been living became vacant and I had the perfect recipe for looking after my soul, redecorate and give the cottage a new lease in life as well as myself, unfortunately my husband has passed on but his memory will always be part of the cottage.
