beautiful location very close to Halliburton Township property is on a gorgeous Sandy Beach at shallow and very clean free of weeds. our Cottage was very cozy an clean and uniformly decorated in a very country like feel it had all the amenities and a beautiful ensuite washroom for the main bedroom with a jacuzzi and bidet no less. we met the host a few times as he was staying in the main house next to the cottage he was very friendly and talkative my son and his daughter got along very well given that they were the same age. definitely will rebook next year if available

The place is absolutely beautiful—clean, cozy, and it truly feels like home. While you're enjoying your breakfast or lunch, the large windows give you a perfect view of the river gently flowing by. And just outside the back door, the water is right there! It's so peaceful—it really calms your mood. There’s also a hot tub where you can fully relax, and at night, we had so much fun playing pool on the billiard table. Even though we didn’t have kids with us, the place has rooms and setups perfect for families too. We were six adults, and we had the best time hanging out in the basement. It was such a fun and relaxing weekend overall!

The place was great, easy check in, very clean and cozy. Perfect location, everything you need in a short drive (5-7 min) and 40 min drive to Montreal downtown. The view from the inside is amazing, looking out to the lake and since it has a lot of windows it has a panoramic view. Gorgeous! The hot tub was very easy to use and in perfect condition. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Bathroom was excellent. Washing and drying machines were very handy. Loved the fire place, made the place look more cottage style. The only thing I would suggest is to have an air fryer, it would be very handy for when we have to cook things but not enough quantity to turn on the whole oven.

We rented Peter’s place for a research retreat as well as a week-long conference. Peter’s place was perfect for the retreat:beautiful and peaceful. We were able to work indoors and outdoors so that we could have multiple smaller workgroups and zoom conversations.Peter’s place is also within easy walking distance of several coffee shops, grocery stores and restaurants. Finally, just walking through the neighbourhood was lovely, relaxing and good to process problems we were working on. Peter’s house is beautiful and comfortable. We all felt completely at home.
