Farmstay holiday rentals in Ottawa River

Absolutely amazing, we had great plans, but the ice storm and the cozy fireplace changed those plans. Hermann and Tracy were an absolute blast! Super chill, and super friendly, we would come back just to spend time with them! We had a cute visitor to come check up on us as well! We hope to be back, thank you hosting us Hermann and Tracy!

This was such a unique property. The decor was funky and sweet and although we had no children with us it definitely spoke to the child in each of us. It would be an amazing stay for a young family … goats and chickens!!!! We were a family gathering together to celebrate the life of a precious young man and Robyn could not have been more supportive and helpful. Thanks for making our sad time so much easier.

Rented the place for our anniversary. Ryan & Bryan were really helpful planning our little vacation and had special attention for our special moment. The kitchen is small, but we were able to cook what we wanted.

We reserved the Hideaway and Nomad Cabins for 3 nights, and had a wonderfly tranquil experience. The kayak launch is a couple minutes drive away, and there are various hiking trails on the property to explore. A huge highlight of our stay was the outdoor showers! But if people feel more comfortable, there is a indoor shower in the public restroom. Additionally, the view of the stars without light pollution was absolutely amazing. Hosts were always accomodating, kind, and very quick to respond to respond to all inquiries.

We had a perfect stay at Josee’s lovely cottage. She welcomed us personally and was very responsive. Her home is beautifully maintained and the property id gorgeous. Highly recommend!

It definitely exceeded our expectations!! Such a cozy and beautiful place. It’s so well thought of because there were games, utensils, books and more. Debbie was quick to respond and suggested great things to do around. A hidden gem for sure. Would highly recommend and return to this place.

Was looking for a place for the Ironman 70.3 in tremblant this year and not only this place came in clutch but it was a truly beautiful place. Would definitely recommend!

This chalet is amazing. It's truly shared from the host, filled with personal touch and fond memories. Even the old toys were preserved well, working well with batteries. The chalet is well stocked, equipped with modern convenience, electronic bidet, all sorts of video games etc. Location is private but not feeling isolated. The master bedroom has a big balcony with beautiful lake view. And the chickens, they are so cute. They gave us more than a dozen eggs. I guess we came at the right season. This is one of the best lake houses that we stayed. We highly recommend it!

Thank you, Tasha and Shane, for a magical stay in your little slice of heaven. What a winter wonderland treat... Surrounded by nature - the trees and stars added to the perfect weekend reprieve we were looking for, and received. Hot tub, wood burning stove... couldn't have asked for anything more. Tasha and Shane were such thoughtful and responsive hosts, giving us a plethora of helpful info in regards to all the sights and activities nearby. In the end, we just hunkered down and enjoyed the cozy space they created. Thanks again, Tasha and Shane, for sharing your charming A-frame and peaceful property!

We had a great stay at the Hilltop Hideout. Sandor was an excellent host, responded to every question I had within an hour, and provided great details on activities and essentials in the area. The locaton is beautiful and with all of the extra equipment and items that the house has, you are bound for a great vacation. Would stay again, 10/10 experience.

Spent the most amazing weekend at big Tiny! The house was so clean and beautiful, the windows and balcony were great. Watching and meeting the horses was our highlight, we had so much fun with them and they even came by our campfire to hangout. The walks through the field were stunning. Very close to silent lake provincial park where we went for a nice swim, 100% recommend for others!

The place and location was nice and cozy, outside sitting area with a little to mild, calming wind. Spacious inside and outside, with lots of fun activities to do. Everything was well maintained and cleaned. Overall, it went very smoothly and was a very nice, entertaining, and happy experience.

we had a great stay at the alpaca farm while attending a wedding in Spencerville, the accommodations were excellent and the alpaca farm your was a memorable highlight of the weekend :)

Great place to stay in Huntsville. Felt very cozy. Very clean and had all the necessities. Inna was friendly and very helpful to our questions. Lovely chicken friends in the backyard as well!

We had an amazing weekend getaway with 10 of our closest friends! The place was exactly as described — clean, spacious, and perfect for a group. The kitchen was well-equipped, the common areas were great for hanging out, and we really appreciated the little touches that made it feel welcoming. The host was responsive and made check-in super easy. Would definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for a fun and relaxing group stay!

Beautiful site. Very comfortable, functional and clean apartment. We needed peace and quiet and this site was perfect for that. And above all an absolutely magical visit to the farm. I don't know anything about horses, but I got very clear and interesting explanations.

A nice addition to each evening was a clean and warm jacuzzi) The house was clean and cozy) Such little things as coffee, all the necessary utensils, clean bed linen and towels were a pleasant surprise) We will definitely repeat this holiday) Very grateful for the hospitality

My husband and I spent the whole weekend with our family at this cottage. It was everything we hoped for and more! Beautiful interior, serene beach with dock, and lots of activities. Only a 5 minute drive to Port Carling shopping centre and restaurant’s. I highly recommend to plan a family vacation at this cottage in Muskoka! 10/10

Beautiful spot with all the amenities. Feels private and secluded yet only a 10 minute drive from downtown Huntsville. James was super accommodating and responsive to our needs, would definitely recommend staying here if you get the chance!

This is a magical place. We spent as much time as we could on the screened in patio because of the view, wildlife and relaxation without bugs. The living space was beautiful and functional, so well stocked of essentials and more. It felt like we were visiting friends who were happy that we were there. Great communication, very welcoming. We found the location to be a nice balance of wilderness and close enough to towns for needs. It was a great spot for us as we toured through all the towns outside of Ottawa. This area of the world is beautiful. And there are no better hosts than Julie and Tony.
