Treehouse holiday rentals in Ottawa River

Loved our stay! The place is beautiful and the homes, with their originality, make the experience truly unique. Our host was exceptional: very accommodating and always quick to answer our questions. We will definitely be back to discover other cottages!

We had an unforgettable experience during our stay and look forward to returning next year. The island was beautiful, the many different houses accommodated our large group and each family of the 5 that went had their own space to unwind. The kitchen was beautiful and made meal prep and cooking so easy. The kida had lots to do with basketball, board games, mini pool tables, hot tub and the highlight was definitely the swimming. The water was great, warm and clear at any given time during the day and the kids had so much fun jumping off the docks, using the paddle boats and the canoes. We all had such a great time and are so thankful to Marla and Sherri-an employee who helped us when we checked in and checked out- Sherri was a great help, kind, friendly, hospitable and even recommended a different cottage with less steps for next year that I will definitely look into because it was a beautiful experience. Don't think twice about booking your stay here my family and I loved it!

The accommodation is very rustic, but extremely clean. Everything was well thought out in advance, it's a great place to take a retreat in nature.

The listing could be a bit clearer on the tuning water, bathroom and electrical situation.

We enjoyed this stay, but it wasn't clear from the listing just how off the grid it was. No electrical outlets (though there was an arrangement for charging devices), no cell coverage, no WiFi, no running water (equipped with a very effective pump from a well for drinking water, and a supply of non-potable water for showers, etc.). Would absolutely recommend it, but you should know what you're getting into :-)

As it was newly renovated, the Aux Box delivered more than expected. Check-in was easy, and despite the rainy weather we had a relaxing time cozying up by the fire and enjoying the ambiance. The new additions like the sink and shower made the *glamping* experience even more convenient. Garth and Rebecca made sure to put thought into every detail really making our weekend getaway feel like a 5 star experience. Thanks again to Garth for answering a 3am phone call and helping when the smoke detector went off unexpectedly. Would definitely visit again!

Rustic tree cabin as described by Arthur. It was perfect for a mini-camping-esque trip. We enjoyed the small paddle in the canoe, the campfire, and the wood stove.

Yooooo there's a lot more to it than the adorable tree house! So much to explore (in privacy) within Sandy's property. We did plenty of cooking in the outdoor kitchen (they have everything), sauna in the wooden shed, outdoor bathing, walking in the trail, swimming in their natural swim hole, river crossing through tram!! And canoeing! Absolutely gorgeous. The tree house itself was very well-made and sturdy. Got so stimulated, I even climbed up the boulder to get to the entrance, fun (but not recommended). Did not expect such a worthwhile visit. Thank you!!!!

We had a great time at Christian's place. The cabin was very comfortable, with all the necessary equipment for a small stay for two. The setting is very quiet and beautiful, especially under the snow! The sauna and hot tub (shared with another cabin) were great. Thanks to Christian for hosting us and for his kindness!

Worth the stay, definitely coming back. Hosts were responsive and proactive, location was calm and serene. Highly recommended

While the pictures and descriptions were accurate, the tree house and surroundings are so much more beautiful in person. Inside and out, the surroundings are whimsical. The relaxing sounds of the river, the endless pockets of nostalgia that adorn the walls inside. Erik and Lisaeanne were absolutely lovely and welcoming. We will certainly be booking a return visit. Our only regret was not staying longer.
