House holiday rentals in Øvre Eiker Municipality

We had a very pleasant stay with two adults and two children. Awesome house, clean and welcoming, all amenities. The location was quiet and peaceful and very lovely with a pool in the heat :) Pia responded quickly and was very service minded. We would love to come back :)

Kjetil’s was an absolutely wonderful host. He really did go above and beyond when it come to ensuring we had all we had for our stay. Local recommendations a plenty, we hiked the kings view, experienced the local Glassworks factory (way more there than you think!) and spend a lovely morning on the island across the bridge where we swam and bathed in a beautiful secluded spot followed by lunch at the golf course. The home itself is spacious and the views are incredible. The pool is heated and the morning and evening calm on the rooftop patio were wonderful. Our kids played for hours and you really do have to pinch yourself at the views. As with the previous review, perhaps a little storage space for unpacking would be nice, but it didn’t bother us too much. The locals are so kind, genuine and just have a calming presence about them and we (4 adults and 6 kids) all had the most wonderful time. Thank you Kjetil!

Lovely, modern clean house with large patio. Great gym/house!. Great with a pool! (Patio is on the backside of the house and nicely sheltered from nearby houses). The house was ok for 7 guests but the bathroom for the Master bedroom, on the ground floor, was a bit inaccessible for the other 5 people. Bathroom and toilet on the 2nd floor had to be used by the other 5. There were a few people in between but went well. The kitchen has most of what you need. Empty, clean and tidy fridge. Good beds and duvets (clean linens were on beds when we arrived :-) ). Superb TV room for children/adult on the 1. floor. Good hiking opportunities right at the house, as well as a football field. House is located on a hill from main road. Grocery store max 5 min by car. Good parking with easy electric charging. Some distance from "shopping", restaurant and sea. Should have a car. Cozy house. Would recommend! The owner responds quickly if any questions.

Very nice home and perfect for a toddler family. Not far from the larger towns, but a rural and quiet area with pleasant neighbors. We had a very nice vacation and stayed comfortably with one of almost two and one of almost three years and three adults. Liv also always responded quickly and was very flexible and friendly.

I really liked the location and the house in general. Everything was clean and cozy. We celebrated New Year as a group and absolutely everyone was excited about the house. The owner was very friendly and always quick to respond. Would highly recommend!

Communication with Malin was excellent with her prompt responses & check-in was easy. The Airbnb is spotlessly clean, spacious & offers a stunning view of the surroundings. The kitchen is well-equipped with appliances that we need for preparing meals. Much appreciated is the availability of car charging-very convenient. We had a wonderful 2 night stay. Highly recommended.

We had a very nice stay at Ingvild's place and would book it again. Great location to explore Heddal church and Kongsberg silver mines.

Everything was as described. The house has everything you need and it was very clean. We felt really comfortable.

This home is located in a gorgeous bucolic setting. Towering pines amidst giant boulders pressed into the hills, overlooking a lovely expanse of farmland. Daily visits from a variety of birds and a horse and cart race by for exercise. Relaxing walking paths lead into the forest. Plenty of parking. Several welcoming spots to sit outside. Inside the home there spacious rooms for relaxing, working, sleeping and just spending time with friends and family. Stores for food and other supplies nearby. And incredible hosts!

We really enjoyed staying at this lovely home. The house has everything one needs for a comfortable stay. Watching the changes in light throughout the day into evening was restful and at times awe inspiring with the fog on the lake rising in the morning . Check in was easy and communication was excellent . Thank you Ella .
