A fantastic experience - better than expected When you book an AirBnB, you naturally have certain expectations, shaped by the pictures, the description and the idea of what the stay will be like. It is all the more beautiful when you find out on site that the expectations were not only met, they were far exceeded. As soon as we arrived, we noticed how much love and care Estelle puts into this home. Each room was immaculately clean, lovingly furnished and designed with an eye for detail. You can tell right away: someone with passion and dedication is making sure that guests feel comfortable. It wasn't just a place to stay, it was a small, charming temporary home. Estelle as a hostess was as warm as she was professional. The organization ran smoothly, you felt welcome and in good hands from the first moment. We had a wonderful week in Gengenbach, it flew by and we could have easily stayed much longer. As a base, Gengenbach provided dozens of walks on our doorstep as well as being a springboard for many others. We made use of the free public transport options (tourist card) and parked the car up, which was a refreshing change. We ate at local restaurants on the recommendation of our hosts and were not disappointed - the food was lovely and the local restauranteurs were incredibly hospitable. At the end of our days adventuring we came home to a relaxing apartment which was so well equipped and cosy. Our hosts were friendly; welcoming us on arrival which was lovely and always there to answer any questions we had. We highly recommend this as a place to visit and pause for a moment in time.

We were four for a weekend in Tobias' accommodation and are completely satisfied. The facility is very modern and the location is quiet. The price-performance ratio is really great and you can reach many beautiful hiking areas by car from there. You can also quickly reach the forest and nature on foot. If you are looking for peace and quiet and just want to do nothing, Ludwigswinkel is the right place for you. Hardly any distractions, little civilization in the vicinity and yet a few people with whom you can have a nice conversation.

We had a very nice time in Sylvia's cottage! Sylvia is a very friendly, helpful and sweet woman. The communication went smoothly and if we had questions, Sylvia answered very quickly. The cottage is clean and well maintained, even better than in the photos. This cottage with the friendly host is definitely recommended!

We had a wonderful midweek in the apartment together with our dog, who was also very welcome. The apartment is very large and complete, so you also felt right at home. We were warmly welcomed by Inge. The balcony offers fantastic views. The neighborhood is very quiet and for the dog it was very pleasant, because when you went out the door you walked directly into the forest. Highly recommend.

Great staying on our trip from Cologne to Rust. The surrounding is great for hikes and swimming in the lakes which are just a few hundred metres from the house. The kids loved the toys! We totally recommend it!

The apartment is beautiful and very secluded. The 4-day weekend was perfect. The pictures do not come close to the actual beauty of everything. You can swim very well in the pond and we caught an eel. There is also enough space for your own sleeping arrangements. All in all 10/10.

superb quiet and relaxing weekend with its pleasant pond for fishermen, very well maintained and with the boat and bikes to escape and ride I recommend it, perfect cleanliness and the accommodation's amenities are great

We had a nice stay with the family. The home has a beautiful living room with views of the garden and forest. Everyone had their own space to sleep. We appreciated the proximity to walking from the house and also to the lakes.

It was very nice, everything clean & tidy. We felt totally comfortable and there was nothing missing. Great place to stay, stylish & lovingly decorated and quiet location. On site you were greeted very friendly, everything was shown to you and you still got great tips for things to do. On the property is everything for shared use - nice sitting areas and the garden. A very relaxing weekend :)

Laurence's place is a great stay a few minutes away from Strasbourg. It's a very safe and quiet neighborhood. The house has pretty much everything one may need during their stay. The kitchen is fully equipped. The bedrooms are cozy. The living room is very pretty and warm. It was a very pleasant stay as a group and Laurence is extremely helpful and friendly.
