Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Perugia

It's idyllic. A short drive or walk from Paciano and you get to this peaceful spot that looks over the olive grove. It's a fantastic spot to unwind and relax. The terrace is a beautiful shaded spot to while away the hours. We would highly recommend to anybody looking for the ideal spot to switch off and hear nothing but birds, bullfrogs and the occasional donkey bray. The home itself is well appointed, perfect for a couple or those with one child. There is plenty of space and the flat contains everything you need. We loved it. A perfect week.

Hyggelig rummelig lejlighed så centralt som overhovedet muligt. Alt fungerer fint. God seng men ingen gode møbler at sidde, desværre. Men det er også det eneste minus.

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno meraviglioso! Anna è stata estremamente gentile e precisa fin dal primo contatto, fornendoci tutte le istruzioni in modo chiaro e puntuale. All’arrivo siamo stati accolti da Cinzia, una persona squisita che ci ha fatto fare il giro della casa e ci ha subito fatti sentire a nostro agio. La casa è perfetta per chi cerca un po’ di pace lontano dal caos della città: silenziosa, immersa nel verde e con un’atmosfera rilassante. Un grande punto a favore è la totale accoglienza verso gli animali: i nostri cuccioli si sono goduti il giardino completamente recintato in totale sicurezza e libertà, il che ha reso il soggiorno ancora più piacevole per tutta la famiglia. Torneremmo sicuramente e lo consigliamo a chiunque cerchi un posto tranquillo, ben tenuto e gestito con grande cura. Grazie ancora ad Anna e Cinzia!

Saverio was super friendly and helpful. We stayed here for 1 night as a stop over on our road trip. He was very responsive and happy to answer any questions we had- even ones unrelated to our stay about the road rules in Italy. The place was immaculate and had everything we needed. He left us water, milk and snacks for the morning which was a kind gesture. This felt more like a hotel stay than an air b n b. We checked in late and checked out early and saverio was happy to accommodate this. Only wish we had more time here. Thanks for our stay!

Pictures don’t do the property and spectacular view justice. We had an amazing family holiday, our host couldn’t have been more accommodating, even leaving us kind gifts. Location was perfect (close enough to town and the airport but feeling secluded), having a bathroom each was great, and again that view was stunning. It all made for a perfect family trip :)

Ilonka & Rob were wonderful hosts & the house was stellar. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - it was incredibly quiet & peaceful - away from the hustle & bustle yet close enough to enjoy several surrounding towns & villages as day trips or for evening dinners. Their home is charming, super clean, & stocked with everything we could possibly need. They even shared fresh fruits & vegetables from their personal garden which we incorporated into our meals when we cooked at home. We enjoyed some nice walks through the mountainside which offer beautiful views & solitude. (Thanks to our hosts for recommending!) We hope to be back when it is cooler - but we did enjoy the pool during the hot afternoons. Until then, we are grateful to have found this gem & for the kindness extended to us by Ilonka & Rob. They answered all our questions, provided helpful recommendations, & were generous with their time - available when needed & happy to socialize but always respecting guest privacy.

Rina and her family could not have been any more welcoming and helpful. We stayed for a wedding which was at the castello di montignano and when we had an issue with the transport on one of the days they kindly offered to take us. There is lots of space and the scenery is out of this world. Massa mattana is approx a 30 minute walk. If wanting to explore further afield a car is needed although there are bikes available too. If heading for the castello you will need transport in advance. We had a wonderful stay and would love to return in the future.

The apartment is very interesting as decoration, at the end of the old town with beautiful and peasful panorama. Everything is clean and tidy. Walking distance from the center, good restaurants in the vicinity. Host was very responsive and helpful with local advice.

We had a great stay at Chiara’s place. Her restaurant recommendations were on point and there were 2 neighborhood cafes to get a quick cappuccino before heading out for the day! The ability to open windows and fall asleep in the cool night air was very pleasant! Overall, I will return if ever In Perugia again!

Staying in Paolo’s beautiful AirBnB was definitely a highlight of our vacation! The apartment was spotless and well equipped, but it was the rooftop terrace with its sublime views that made it extra special. We had coffee and local pastries there every morning, and a glass of wine there every evening! Though the apartment was beautiful, what made our stay the most memorable was the warmth and generosity of our host. Paolo not only went out of his way to pick us up at the train station in Foligno, he drove us all the way to Assisi for our departing train. In between he was always friendly and available to respond any questions or needs we had. We couldn’t have had a better five days in Spello. Thanks Paolo!

Maria is an amazing host! Her friendly welcoming nature made us feel at ease from the very start. Her attention to detail was amazing and her apartment was beautifully decorated. We had a few hiccups with transport and eSIMs which didn’t work, but Maria sorted everything out for us. We will be staying there again and next time we will stay for much more than just 3 days! Thank you Maria!!

It was a great stay in Perugia. The apartment itself is a unique piece of history, it is a rare occassion to be able to live in such historical environment. I loved the ceiling. The neighbourhood is quiet and you can get a good sleep. The place is very close to the Old Town (5 minutes walk) but also to Mini Metro which is next to railway station. So, if you plan to move around, this is a great location. The apartment is spacious and has everything you might need. The owner was very communicative and answered all questions very quickly. I can truly recommend this place and its owner.

Ci siamo sentiti molto bene. Un posto accogliente ed un servizio perfetto. Posizione ottima per esplorare la città. Raggiungibile con gli mezzi pubblici ed a piede: perfetto.

Appartamento ampio, ben arredato, in zona centralissima e fornito di tutto (dallo scottex, alla macchinetta per il caffè a tutto quanto necessario). Andrea si è dimostrato molto disponibile per informazioni e consigli ed ha risposto tempestivamente.

Casa grande e ottima posizione. Alessandra è molto disponibile e gentile. L'unica cosa da migliorare è più attenzione a togliere bene la polvere, per il resto tutto impeccabile! ☺️

A great place to stay that was beautiful and comfortable. Easy access to the city center. Carla was a great communicator and very helpful. All around just an amazing find in Perugia. Hope we can be back soon.

Insieme a mia moglie abbiamo puntato sull'alloggio di Nicoletta come base per visitare la vicinissima Todi e poi Orvieto. Si è rivelata una scelta azzeccata per la posizione, lo spazio e la pulizia, e abbiamo apprezzato la bella accoglienza (anche con acqua sia liscia che gassata in frigo, e caramelle) di Nicoletta, dopo i precisi contatti con Gabriela. Sistemazione consigliatissima.

Manuela is a wonderful, polite and friendly host, and her holiday home is one of the most beautiful and romantic places we've ever stayed. Every space in the house is full of charm, and the terrace overlooking the paradise views is a place of calm and peace. We were lucky enough to wake up to birdsong and the singing of nuns in a local church. The whole town of Spello is beautiful, and the people are so friendly. Thank you so much to Manuela for being the best host we've ever had! I can't recommend this place enough.

Christina was incredibly patient and helpful — we arrived later than expected, and she guided us through the narrow streets into her private parking garage. It was definitely a stressful drive, and I wouldn’t have been able to do it without her support! Her place was perfect — just steps from the medieval aqueduct and a short walk to the historic center. The location made it easy to explore and enjoy the area. Overall, a great stay — highly recommended if you’re visiting Perugia.

Had a wonderful time staying in Deseos’s place! Couldn’t have asked for a more central location. Dropping the bags was slightly stressful with a car, but if you can carry your things, suggest parking down in the free parking lot at the bottom of the mini metro as the metro runs every few minutes and costs only €1.50 per ride. The apartment is just a five minute walk from the last mini metro stop. Perugia is so walkable and we really enjoyed being in the heart of it, eating at many of the local restaurants. If you’re into vintage shopping also recommend checking out Paleos Vintage. Deseos was incredibly helpful, sorting out any questions or needs we had efficiently and kindly. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a lush stay in Perugia.
