The accommodation is excellent, with all the necessary amenities. There is parking available, and it’s conveniently located close to Cefalù and Palermo. The host is always ready to help.

Wonderful - Ideal for a couple. We were greeted by Ileana’s lovely father, Gaetano who made sure we had everything we needed and left a cold bottle of local white wine in the fridge for us. The place is perfect - close enough to everything, yet quiet and peaceful, away from the crowds. The apartment is a really pleasant space to just hang out in too. The June temperatures were divine, and you can make the most of the cool sea breeze with so many windows looking out across different picture postcard views. At night the ceiling fan worked really well and we both slept extremely well in the comfy bed. Can’t recommend this place highly enough.

La casa è perfetta per godersi la spiaggia di Mondello, comoda e completa di tutto, anche del parcheggio. Benedetto è un host eccezionale, ci ha accolti anche con alcune sorprese molto gradite e ci ha permesso orari flessibili. Consigliato vivamente :-)

Ho soggiornato nella casa di Marilù per una settimana e mi sono trovata benissimo, non manca nulla. La casa è molto carina, pulita e ordinata. Vicinissima alla spiaggia, al minimarket (perfetto per fare la spesa perché c'è di tutto), alla farmacia, al bar e ai ristoranti. Marilù e Giuseppe sono speciali, gentilissimi e disponibili. Mi sono sentita come a casa, spero di tornare!

Die Unterkunft von Carlo war sehr ruhig mit einem wunderschönen Blick auf das Meer. Der CheckIn mit Carlos Mutter war sehr herzlich und trotz Sprachbarrieren (von beiden Seiten) unkompliziert. Alle Zimmer sind super sauber und die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Es gibt für das/ die Schlafzimmer leider kein AC, weshalb es bei wärmeren Temperaturen sehr warm werden kann. Die Terrasse teilt man sich mit Carlos Onkel Alfredo, der jedoch nur wenige Minuten am Tag draußen ist. Alfredo kann gut deutsch ist sehr sympathisch und immer für einen Schnack zu haben. Über Nacht war er nie da. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön, jedoch wenig touristisch erschlossen, weshalb es empfehlenswert ist einen Mietwagen zu buchen und das ein oder andere Wort italienisch zu lernen.

I really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the host’s kindness in getting us settled. The location was peaceful and private, and walking on the private beach at night was serene. We loved the gas stovetop for last‑minute meals and the shower’s light and radio. The indoor space was a bit tight, but the patio and outdoor areas made up for it. A few things caught us off guard: the pool is seasonal, chairs shown on the beach weren’t there, and some utensils were a bit dirty. We also found ants on the table, which upset my girlfriend, and the TVs were smaller than expected. The biggest concern was the road to the beach—the potholes made us nervous about driving. Overall, it’s a lovely spot. With a few clarifications and minor updates, it could be an even more fantastic getaway. Thank you for hosting us!

Our stay with Giuseppe was easy, relaxing, close to the sea, and restaurants. Just what we needed at the end of the trip. Giuseppe organised the airport transfer and looked after our bags after check-out. Thank you so much Giuseppe.

What a dream place! We had the most amazing vacation in the villa. We stayed at the home with 6 adults and 2 young children (1,5). The master bedroom is almost like a small apartment in its self. There is a room on the ground floor which was perfect for my parents in law who are less mobile. The place is spacious and beautiful. The garden is amazing with the private swimming pool and tennis court. We played tennis every day. The location is also very nice, walking distance from both the beach and the town. We would highly recommend to stay at this place! One of our best vacations ever!

Wow! From the moment we arrived Francesco and Cynthia made us feel welcome, at home and we left feeling like part of their family. The house is absolutely beautiful and we had a wonderful, private section with everything we needed - including a lovely outdoor shower, table and chairs. The private pool was perfect for a dip after our day trip to Palermo. It’s just a few minutes walk to the beautiful Mondello beach, and lots of bars and restaurants. They responded to every request immediately - even driving to the supermarket to buy us bottles of water! Cynthia even wrote a plan for us when visiting Palermo - which we used and worked perfectly. We’ll remember this holiday forever because we got engaged on the trip. But also because we met such wonderful people and stayed in such a beautiful home - thank you Francesco and Cynthia! As promised, we will definitely be back one day ❤️

L'appartamento è spazioso e luminoso, con cucina, salone, camera da letto e delizioso terrazzino. Pochi minuti a piedi dalla stazione di Campofelice e dalla spiaggia. Umberto è stato eccellente e ci ha dato moltissime raccomandazioni utili su ristoranti e d'intorni. L'area è molto tranquilla e silenziosa, nessun rumore durante la notte. A due fermate da Cefalù, posizione strategica ma molto tranquilla. Mare limpido con diversi lidi attrezzati. Raccomandiamo senz'altro! 😎

The most amazing view from the terrace of the apartment. The bathroom was brand new with a great shower. Walking distance to a lovely little village with a few restaurants and a shop. The bedroom and sitting room were a bit dated but overall a good Airbnb and good value

We enjoyed our stay at Alessio’s villa. Great communication at all times. The location was quiet and close to the beach. The pool was a real delight. The train station was a10 min walk with regular trains to Cefalu and Palermo. I would recommend Villa Portofino for a stay in Sicilia

don’t even know where to start! just a perfect place in Mondello, pristine clean, freshly renovated, fresh pastries every morning, incredible sea view, infinite swimming pool, steam room, super comfortable bed, welcome drinks, free parking and obviously the most hospitable and loving hosts ever!!! Angelo’s wife even did my laundry on the request, just truly splendid in every detail felt like home and definitely will come back thank you beautiful Barbarella and Angelo for this time

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub und haben besonders die Aussicht sehr genossen.

Abbiamo soggiornato una settimana nel residence 105. Abitazione di ampia metratura, con grande veranda esterna con tetto ben coibentato che protegge dal sole estivo. Giardino spazioso, con prato all'inglese, altalene, fontanella multiuso (lavapiedi) e doccia (posto auto ombreggiato difronte al cancelletto di ingresso), l'aria dell'abitazione è totalmente circondata da siepi o frangivento per una assoluta tutela della privacy. Zona giorno interna ampia e dotata di ogni confort. Punto forte, almeno per noi, è stata la vicinanza del mare, 3 minuti a piedi e avevamo i piedi in acqua, spiaggia ampia assolutamente "personale", non più di 2/3 ombrelloni, una meraviglia. Piscina ben attrezzata e sempre pulita. Assenza assoluta di zanzare e mosche. L'assistenza è stata accurata, tempestiva e puntuale. Una nota di merito va al sig. Carmelo, che ha reso il nostro soggiorno spensierato, venendo incontro ad ogni nostra richiesta con disponibilità e gentilezza. Assolutamente consigliato.

We spent a lovely week in Vincenzo's apartment. It was spacious, very well equipped and had a magnificent terrace. There was a choice of sun or shade throughout the whole day at this time of year. The apartment is centrally situated, with the beach, the Rock, local shops and a supermarket all within 10 minutes walk. Vincenzo and his son, Antonio, were friendly and responsive hosts.

We had the most amazing 10 days at Rosellina’s beautiful home in Solanto. From the moment we arrived, Rosellina and her husband welcomed us with such warmth and generosity – they truly went out of their way to make us feel at home. While the immediate area isn’t the most eventful, we honestly didn’t need anything beyond the charm of the house itself and its spectacular view over the bay, the mountains, and the deep blue sea. Best of all was the private “beach” – a rocky cliffside where we could swim and snorkel straight from the water’s edge. The house is just a short drive from supermarkets and lovely small towns like Porticello, Santa Flavia, and Bagheria – and only about 40 minutes to Palermo. We’re already dreaming of coming back!

We had a wonderful stay at Rossella’s. She and her husband were extremely friendly and helpful. This is the perfect place to stay with 2 couples- it’s essentially 2 apartments. Great AC, privacy, and super close to the beach and restaurants!

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb near Cefalù! The house is fully equipped with everything you might need—washing machine, utensils, and more—which made my stay incredibly convenient. The spacious parking area was a great bonus, and the house itself is beautifully designed, offering plenty of room to relax. Its location is perfect just a short drive to Cefalù, making exploring the town effortless. The host is also very friendly and responsive. The only minor things to note: there are quite a few extra beds, which may not be necessary for all guests, and a mirror in the attic would be a useful addition. Overall, a fantastic place to stay—highly recommended!

Casa Calypso was our favorite home to stay in during our 3-week tour of Sicily. Lucia and Marco were very communicative, and Marco met us at the property and showed us around. The home is made of stone and is situated on the lot to maximize the gorgeous views, the most incredible sunset I've ever seen. We were a group of four and everyone loved the property. The quaint hamlet of Sant Ambrogio is described as a hidden gem; we walked there several times (down and up) and enjoyed some delicious dinners al' fresco - again with the sunset. Casa Calypso was one of the few homes we stayed at that was walking distance to anything, like all our places, not easy to find, but once you're there, you're there! Highly recommend!

Great location - right in the old town but still quiet. Loved having the 2 balconies - view of the cathedral was particularly good. Clean, well appointed and great communication with the host.

Cefalu is a beautiful, enchanting coastal town that has everything a holiday getaway needs. Angela's apt is perfect!! Close to everything, 2 mins from the sand and beach. Staying at Enrico’s property was the best Air BnB experience I’ve had! He was so friendly, responsive and made so many useful and helpful recommendations. Enrico went above and beyond to make our stay most comfortable and easy. Aside from that, the property itself was the perfect location right on stunning Mondello beach with the most beautiful views.
