It is the ideal starting point for over 300 km of hiking trails and alpine climbs in the Rauris Valley - one of the most beautiful hiking areas in the Salzburg region. Here you can enjoy peace, privacy and proximity to nature – perfect for a relaxing break or an active holiday in the mountains.

At a unique spot on the southern slope of Piesendorf with breathtaking views of a magnificent mountain landscape lies the luxurious Chalet Sonnenheim. The hiking and biking trails start at the front door. The ski resorts of Zell am See, the Kaprun glacier (October to May), Saalbach-Hinterglemm and Kitzbühel are within easy reach. Piesendorf itself also has a small ski resort. Great for tobogganing and for children. The golf courses of Zell am See, Mittersill and Saalfelden are also a short distance away.

The bright studio with around 30 m² is on the ground floor of the Chalet Sonnenkönig on a sunny hillside in Piesendorf in the beautiful Pinzgau. From there it is only a 5-minute walk to the center of Piesendorf with restaurants, supermarket, pharmacy, bus stop, tourist office, etc. The ski areas of Zell am See and Kaprun (glacier), the Tauernspa in Kaprun, the Zell am See golf course are only a few minutes away by car. A guest card with numerous discounts is included.

The cozy 2-room apartment is located in a former apartment hotel between Kaprun and Zell am See. The apartment on the 2nd floor is south-facing and offers a large balcony. In summer, a large outdoor pool is available for all residents to share. Golf course, Tauern-Spa, sports airfield, swimming lake, restaurants, etc. are minutes away. Winter: Ski bus very close by. A ski cellar with ski boot warmer is available in the house.

The apartment is in the immediate vicinity of the Zell am See/Kaprun holiday region. The countless destinations in the region make your holiday a real experience. It's minutes to Tauern Spa or Kapruner Glacier. Zell am See can be reached in about 10 minutes by car or train.
