The apartment on the top floor is truly unique. It is located on the second floor and and the entire place has been restored to original building. The original roof wooden frame, exposed brickwork, original flooring, fully functional wooden stove helps you to imagine what people lived like at the beginning of last century. The main living area is facing the front of the house and therefor you will find a view on the town square, town house and the famous basalt rock “Jehla”.

Location in quiet Tolkewitz with only 10 minutes walk to the Elbe. Bus and tram stop 3 minutes walk. Tram 18 minutes without changing trains to the center. Bakers, restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. Bicycle rack and bicycle storage available. Plenty of free parking. Shared garden with sandpit and Trampoline. Wonderful starting point for bike tours, hikes to Saxon Switzerland, a walk on the Elbe meadows, a junk through the city and much more.

First floor apartment, with a small entrance area, a bright, friendly full glass door, with a friendly bathroom facing southwest and a large bright room, which gets its special charm from the huge arched window. The view of our private courtyard, with traditional round timber and our beautiful 90-year-old walnut tree. The south side provides bright light flooding. On the southwest side is a small separate sitting area, with barbecue facilities. Renovated in 2022.

We have magnificent views of the vineyards and the city. Our guests have breakfast on the sun terrace and relax in the evening with a glass of wine. The cozy apartment is also suitable for possibly longer vacation stays. A washing machine and a drying room are located in the house. The apartment has a parking space and a bicycle storage room. In the immediate vicinity is also a home-style restaurant with Saxon cuisine ("Hommels Gasthaus"). Just come in and feel good. There is a kettle and of course a coffee maker...coffee and tea are also there...special requests are gladly fulfilled

Enjoy your vacation in the beautiful Schmöllerhäuschen. The property, which has been family-owned since its construction at the end of the 19th century, century, the family-owned property is located in the middle of the beautiful Elbe Sandstone Mountains directly on the Elbe and has three apartments, a veranda and a garden. The completely renovated apartment no. 2 is located on the 2nd floor and is about 40 square meters.

Our cottage is situated in the centre of the Osterzgebirge. Well-known excursion destinations can be reached in a short time by car.
