Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Poitou-Charentes

A truly unforgettable stay! This private, spacious boathouse was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived, we were wowed by the unique character and thoughtful design—especially the stunning bolted ceiling that give the space more charm with a touch of grandeur. The bed was comfortable, making every night restful and serene. The bathroom was great with a big walk-in shower, and heated floors were a luxurious bonus we didn’t know we needed! Everything was spot on, blending comfort with a sense of adventure. If you’re looking for a stay that’s both cozy and strikingly unique, this is it!

We had a great weekend at François and Liao's place. Communication was very simple and they are accommodating and pleasant people. The internet connection is more complicated but it did not bother us for a weekend of rest and games. The place is quiet, very cool (very useful given the heat we had) and has all the useful amenities. Thank you to François and Liao for your hospitality. We'll be happy to go back

The house is absolutely in line with the listing. All the comforts are there to accommodate a family or friends (kitchen equipment, games and accessories for children, barbecue and smoker). The land is beautiful, very well maintained by Cathy and her husband. In addition, Cathy was very welcoming, attentive, sharing, always ready to answer the slightest question with a smile and the utmost precision. And finally, a big thank you to her for the afternoon spent gently removing splinters from our little Eden's hand. We'll be back for sure!

Absolutely amazing place, tastefully decorated, in an exceptional village. A lot of effort has been put into decorating, where well-being is. Being by the water with this view is just unimaginable. Just missing an oven (on the wall above the plates , my 2 cents) and a curtain in the room (hanging on the wall with rings, my 2 cents again). Truly an awesome experience.

Absolutely loved our stay at the 'Farm house '..... beautiful surroundings, enveloped in a gorgeous sense of French countryside...loved hearing the rural sounds, brought a real sense of contentment. Claire was the perfect host, dealt with any issues immediately and when I needed to change my hire car booking, she was able to assist with the French speaking agent. Offered heaps of suggestions of places to see and specific restaurants to visit. We would go back again in a heartbeat. thanks Claire and team.

Excellent welcome, clear and simple instructions. Perfect. The spaces are well thought out and very large. The accommodation is very well located, very well equipped and very clean. You will definitely have a good time at Aurelien's, I recommend it.

We spent 2 nights and have an excellent memory of it. The accommodation is impeccable, decorated with a lot of taste, very quiet, with a river right next door. Myriam was able to be present and respond to our requests. We highly recommend this listing. We'll be back if we get a chance.

The one-room apartment is really very nice and exceptionally tastefully furnished. You can see that an architect with a love of detail was at work here. We felt very at home for a week and enjoyed Saumur and the surrounding area from here. The apartment is fully recommended without restrictions. Only the entrance and the staircase are unsuitable for people with mobility impairments.

Great communication from Noemie who was lovely, nice to hear about the history of the accommodation. It’s a cosy, good use of space and perfect for the one night stop over. The bed was super comfortable, making for a good nights sleep before travelling again.

A great little corner of paradise in the quiet countryside! We were able to rest and enjoy the Puy du Fou, which is beautiful and 30 minutes from the rental We'll be happy to go back!

A very comfortable stay in a beautiful location. We stayed in the Terrace Apartment which was tastefully decorated, very clean and welcoming. The supplied cold water and milk were so helpful as it meant we could make an emergency cup of tea to start our day before heading to the supermarket! All toiletries and tea and coffee supplied! Would definitely stay again.

We spent New Year's Eve in this very pretty cabin. The awakening was magnificent, a splendid sunrise over fields as far as the eye can see and beautifully frosted trees. Thanks to Luc and Anne for hosting us.

We loved our 2 nights in this charming barrel! The place is full of charm, original and perfectly equipped for a moment of disconnection in the middle of nature. You'll feel right at home, between a cozy cocoon and an unusual experience. The welcome was warm, attentive and very human. You feel like everything is done with heart. A timeless place, where the soul breathes 🌿💫 This cabin in the heart of the woods is much more than just accommodation: it is a true interlude of harmony, a return to the essential. Surrounded by the forest and the river of almost unreal beauty, we felt a deep connection to nature... We were able to enjoy an aperitif on a boat, rocked by the water and silence, which gave us the impression of being alone in the world, the evening by the fire, the walks in the beautiful forest with our dog, who also loved the experience... We only spent one night there, but our minds stayed there much longer. Thank you to Abigail for sharing this beautiful place, for this luminous and rejuvenating experience 🤍

We had a super time, very relaxing, just wish we would have stayed longer! We particularly enjoyed watching and listening to the wildlife looking out over the lake. The Cabana has a special place in our hearts. We hope to return again in the future 😊

It is a relaxing and unusual experience to stay in this cabin (without water or electricity) where everything is well thought out, in the middle of nature. A way of living that changes our habits and makes us want to pay more attention to our environment. The landscape is beautiful, quiet, a very beautiful view from the terrace, with horses nearby, which we were able to pet. Nathalie and Olivier were extremely available, attentive to our needs and caring. We didn't miss a thing. Disconnection is guaranteed in this beautiful cabin that we warmly recommend!

We had a lovely stay, the Fortinerie campsite is a pleasant place surrounded by nature. Tina and her husband were welcoming and friendly. The tent offers all the amenities and is tastefully decorated. The hot tub is a really great plus! We recommend it for an atypical experience.
