Paolo’s apartment is modern and comfortable. It’s obvious that much care went into its renovation. Check-in and out was easy with a lockbox and Paolo was very responsive. The location makes it an easy walk to all of the sights and the train station I would recommend it to anyone visiting Lucca.

Absolutely loved our stay at Tomasso Holiday House – a hidden gem in every sense of the word! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the privacy and tranquility of the location. It felt like our own peaceful retreat, tucked away in the hills, yet fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The amenities were top-notch – a perfectly stocked kitchen, cozy living spaces, comfortable beds, and little touches that made it feel like a true home away from home. Getting there was half the fun – the windy roads leading up to the house were scenic and added to the sense of adventure. We actually looked forward to each drive, with sweeping views and a real feeling of escape from the everyday. Tomasso Holiday House is the kind of place you dream about coming back to. It offers the perfect blend of seclusion, comfort, and charm. 10/10 – would absolutely stay again!

A quiet and relaxing place, perfect for regeneration. In those places, we go back in time to when we were small, time slows down and it is pleasant to appreciate wonderful views and the architecture of the village. The house is well maintained, clean and nice and Mrs. Claudia is very helpful. We'll be back.

Like the other guests, we were completely satisfied and were incredibly warmly welcomed. It's a wonderful family. The accommodation had everything you need to live well and for a nice vacation. We got great tips for activities and felt totally comfortable. Francesco is a very charming, helpful host, with whom we had nice conversations. We especially liked the care for children. Our child loved the toys provided, the large garden and the cats. Very clear recommendation.

We had a fantastic time at Nadia's accommodation. The view is beautiful and a very nice swimming pool that is well maintained by Giacomo. Very friendly welcome and received tips to do in the area. Good location close to Lucca and in a beautiful green area. We would book this again.

It was special treat to be welcomed by Laura when we arrived. She was a great hostess. We felt very comfortable in the spacious surroundings which included an outdoor terrace with expansive views across the Garfagnana valley. As we didn't have a car we walked into Barga which is about 20 minutes. Barga offers shops, restaurants and art galleries. I found lots of opportunities to do some painting around the old town and walks to nearby villages. We loved Barga and are keen to return.

It was a great beautiful experience and if we were to travel to Lucca again. Then we would immediately know where to book something.

Absolutely beautiful apartment right in the centre of Lucca. Lucia was a wonderful host, and provided excellent recommendations for wineries and shopping! The kitchen has everything you need. We like to cook a couple of meals in and the kitchen was beautifully equipped with very nice pots and pans etc. It was also fantastic that she had olive oil, salt and pepper and other spices. Super comfy bed and bedding. This has been our favourite Airbnb to stay in, we were so comfortable and felt right at home. Thank you Lucia for your fabulous hospitality!! We would definitely stay here again!

A lovely apartment with an amazing history, Doramartina had everything we needed for a great stay. Despite a language barrier, Gabriella communicated very effectively with us. Her daughter, Martina, greeted us and told us all we needed to know. Lucca is beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Doramartina.

We had a great time . Anita is a very attentive host, the accommodation is located in a beautiful green park in a quiet area with a swimming pool available, a real plus. We will definitely come back and recommend this accommodation. The king size bed is extremely cosy. Perfect location very close to the historic city of Lucca. Thank you for everything, Anita. It's a beautiful area and I would recommend this place highly to anyone! The bikes are old and the brakes kept seizing, so plan on renting some if you want to do more than just a little riding.

Daniel‘s apartment was recently renovated and very centrally located to the old city of Luca it was an easy walk to parking and an easy entrance onto the wall to walk around the city of the highlight of our visit .

Great place, great hosts, great location. The photos and information provided is exactly as the hosts describe. All essentials were provided and the personal details were lovely. Check in/out was easy, communication was great, my only issue is that I wish we were staying longer. Highly recommend! Oh and the homemade pie waiting for us when we arrived was delicious!

It’s just not possible to accurately state in an Airbnb review how otherworldly this place is— this home and its location and community (Mony and The Top Bar!!!) were unlike anything we’ve ever experienced. We will D R E A M of coming back someday! We’ve been traveling Europe with our three children for the past three months and this was my favorite Airbnb out of all we’ve ever been to. If you’re looking for an authentic Italian village getaway — this is it. Please don’t miss your opportunity!

Beautiful experience! The house was tastefully furnished and clean, well-stocked with guides and tourist maps of Lucca. It was also equipped with everything you need for your stay: dishes, pans, kitchen utensils, etc. The location was perfect, within walking distance of the Basilica of San Frediano and Via Fillungo, Lucca's main shopping street. But what excited us was the hospitality of the host. Pier Giordano was very kind and helpful; passionate about his city, he recommended places of interest that are also little known by most and typical places to eat Lucchese and Tuscan cuisine. Thanks again! We hope to return to Lucca soon!

Great welcome from hostess Gisella. Great view of the cathedral, Duomo di San Martino from the apartment. Bright, cozy, clean, neat apartment full of loving details. Gisella waited for us with cold water (almost entering summer) and something to eat. Very good idea on her part!!!! He also prepared a personalized map for us to know about places like restaurants, cafes, pizzerias, markets and bike rentals. Map that we use all the time next to the cell phone. Lucca is a beautiful city, especially the city within the wall, full of flowers and lime trees where you can walk, rest and refresh in summer.

Strategic location for walking along the wall, historical places, art and music, restaurants, typical businesses. Bright, comfortable, spacious apartment. Very well equipped and easy to use. Paola's place is in a great location and incredibly well appointed for a lovely and comfortable stay in any season. She has thought of every detail for her guests' comfort. Our family of four felt so at home here and found everything we needed. Paola's a great communicator, and I'm so glad we made time to visit her family winery during our stay. Her son, Francesco, provided a wonderful and intimate experience and even made it interesting for our teen daughters who joined for lunch. One of our favorite experiences on our trip to Italy!
