House holiday rentals in Province of Modena

From a long retired couple... Very enjoyable week's stay during September in Ruth's spacious, clean, comfortable and comprehensively equipped, family oriented villa. Ideal base for local hiking (which we didn't) and surprisingly well located, given its fairly remote position, for sampling good quality nearby restaurants (which we did). Good scope for cultural and shopping trips: eg. Bologna, Faenza, Dozza (delightful) and outlet centres incl. Barberino (convenient and extensive). We found Ruth to be a very welcoming, helpful and accessible host with a ready wealth of local knowledge - a much underrated asset that certainly enhanced our visit. 6Stanco - go for it!

We had the best time! The pool was fabulous. And the pasta night was so much fun!

What a lovely break in this peaceful place! I wish I could have done it longer, it feels so good! 🤩 The host couple is really very charming, responsive and attentive... The place was spotless, with high quality materials (The bathroom in particular …) Really in love with this little piece of heaven!🤩 I recommend it of course!!

A lovely spacious house, elegantly and stylishly furnished (AB&B photos don't really do it justice). Beautiful tranquil location - apart from the Apennine wolves we heard howling one night (a definite bonus in our book). Lovely walks from the house along the river Dolo gorge, and especially recommend the Golfarone waterfall about 25 mins drive away. A 15-minute scramble upriver brings you to a beautiful pool for swimming under the waterfall. Also lovely local neighbours, who offered us homemade wine and jam. Good local restaurants. Alessandro was extremely helpful and friendly.

Silvana and her Husband were GREAT Hosts!! The place was immaculate and Super Peaceful!!! Best arrangements and accommodations Close to Bologna!! We spent 5 days, Played Tennis and had a Mega BBQ!! Enjoyed the place immensely, Silvana was a SUPER Host!!! Will surely comeback!!!!

The property is breathtaking, with stunning views that make it a perfect retreat. A car is essential for getting around. Our host, Lara, embodied the warmth and generosity of Italian hospitality. Despite pouring rain on our arrival, she greeted us warmly and explained everything thoroughly. She texted us recommendations for the best local restaurants and checked in regularly—not intrusively, but with genuine care and passion for her guests’ comfort. Lara went above and beyond, preparing the BBQ for us, offering fresh fruit as a thoughtful treat, and providing delicious pastries for breakfast on our departure day. I would absolutely stay here again!

We had an amazing week at Tommasos place! From the moment we arrived, the host and his very friendly mother made us feel incredibly welcome and was so helpful throughout our stay. The place itself was spotless and well-maintained, with a serene atmosphere that made it the perfect getaway. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful, offering peace and tranquility, truly great for the soul. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and unwind. Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a peaceful retreat with a wonderful host!

We had a really good time during the 3 days spent here. Everyone was super helpful and kind. The place is wonderful, relaxing, perfect for escaping the city. The very nice apartment, equipped with everything you need, was only missing body soap, shampoo and hand soap, but nothing terrible that could make us negatively re-evaluate the beautiful idea we had of this beautiful place. We will be back with great pleasure ❤️

Due to a very complicated move I stayed alone at the property, unfortunately going back and forth to and from Bologna Working with animals and the garden, beautiful and fully fenced, it really made a difference The house is enchanting as well as the view that frames it, priceless to wake up to the view of our Apennines. So much silence to feel - especially at night - almost intimidated :-) Beautiful disconnect during which, at times, I was also able to regenerate I had some small difficulties with the TV in the room compared to the channel synchronization, while everything was fine with the one in the room Cleanliness and services offered completely in line with expectations Overall, I would absolutely recommend a stay at this charming structure if you really want to unplug and carve out a space and a moment of just relaxation and rest! Mauro was a kind host who allowed us to check in early according to our needs. The apartment is convenient for getting around on foot but above all it has a private parking space included in the price (around the parking lots are all paid). Maybe a few more tools were missing in the kitchen, but overall everything went very well. Thank you

The stay at Maria Rosa and Federico's was excellent. The house has everything you need and nothing is missing. The area is quiet, easy to reach and well connected to Bologna. The only thing to note about this B&B is the bathroom, which is located in the basement and can only be reached via a spiral staircase that is quite hostile for those with disabilities.

Thank you for the beautiful and very clean accommodation, beautiful location for traveling, The Apennines mountains are very nice. We were very satisfied and highly recommend it.

Very nice apartment, clean and in a good and very quiet location..... proactive and present host.....

The best apartment you can find: it’s spotless, comfortable, quiet and beautifully renovated. Despite the high temperatures outside, indoor temperatures were pleasant. The access door is completely private, and the host has organised an outdoor area for the use of guests where they can enjoy lovely summer evenings. The host Danilo and his wife were so kind you would feel like at home. Zola is a great place if you want to be outside the busy city but at a comfortable distance you can reach by train. At walking distance you can also find parks and traditional restaurants and bars, and also a large supermarket for all your needs.

We really enjoyed our stay at Alberto's house. The park is beautiful and the house very comfortable and well-equipped. Alberto is charming and always attentive to make sure our stays go smoothly. The house is close to Bologna and around the house there are beautiful walks.

Everything was good and as described in the listing. Elisa is very friendly and the apartment is nicely furnished and clean. Would love to come back.

What a fantastic tranquil and very traditional emilian mountain house. Extremely peaceful area and lots of patio space to enjoys the views. Elena was precise and so helpful. The value for money is excellent.

I spent two nights in Elisa and Manuel's place. The property, located near a park, in a quiet environment, is cozy, well-kept, bright, well equipped. The kitchen has everything you need and the bedroom is very comfortable and quiet. You can park near the house. The area is well connected, also ideal for visiting Bologna. Manuel was a present and kind host, always available for any questions or advice.

Had a lovely stay. The house is large and there is a good useable outdoor space. Great place to explore the region but you do need a car as resturants and supermarkets are not in easy walking distance. There are a lot of steps to the upstairs bedroom which have 2 single large beds but it is large with a lovely big window. The down stairs bedroom is lovely and large. The kitchen area has everything you need. The shower took a bit of time to get used too but perfectly usable. Michela was very welcoming and helpful.

This is one of the best places I have stayed on Airbnb. It is a beautiful apartment which has everything you need, with access to an amazing garden. We felt privileged to be guests staying with Ekaterina who is the perfect host. Nothing was too much trouble and we were allowed an early check in and a late check out which was really helpful. Reggio Emilia is a lovely town within walking distance and Ekaterina provided us with local recommendations. We would love to return and stay here again. this area stay

We had a great stay. Not far from Maranello and the ferrari museum. Short walk down to the town and market. Very flash restaurants only 2 minute walk near the church and castle. Good spot 👍
