Paola was a great host and helped with all our enquiries. Paola helped us check-in and provided helpful suggestions on places to visit. The rooms exceeded our expectations were really big, and the bathrooms were great. The only issue was in the downstairs bedroom there was a lot of noisy in the night from the street, however, as we were staying on a Friday and Saturday night this may be expected. Ear plugs were kindly provided! Overall a great place to stay if visiting Bologna.

Everything was great. The house is lovingly decorated and clean. The house has everything you need, the location is wonderful and close enough to Bologna. We can only recommend the house.

We ended up in an oasis of peace. A conscious choice we made. Small but nice, equipped with all the basic amenities. As a base for visits to Florence (from the village by train) and Bologna this was perfect. The beautiful sunsets remain forever etched on our retinas.

The property is breathtaking, with stunning views that make it a perfect retreat. A car is essential for getting around. Our host, Lara, embodied the warmth and generosity of Italian hospitality. Despite pouring rain on our arrival, she greeted us warmly and explained everything thoroughly. She texted us recommendations for the best local restaurants and checked in regularly—not intrusively, but with genuine care and passion for her guests’ comfort. Lara went above and beyond, preparing the BBQ for us, offering fresh fruit as a thoughtful treat, and providing delicious pastries for breakfast on our departure day. I would absolutely stay here again!

Very comfortable apartment!

Aneta was a great host, very proactive, helpful and friendly. Apartment was very clean and well designed. Beautiful green surroundings and the natural linden tree smell all around the streets and the apartment was just so amazing. It was only a 20 min train ride to Bologna center and the apartment was right around the corner from train station which was very convenient. All in all it was a great stay. Thank you again Anita! We’ll be back for sure.

This is a great apartment for a couple, with a lovely view from the balcony! It’s walkable to the very centre of Bologna and I would recommend it.

We truly enjoyed our month stay at this lovely flat in Bologna, and would highly recommend it for anyone seeking a comfortable and spacious base for a long-term visit. The apartment itself was charming and exceptionally quiet. It provided ample room for two people, making it feel truly like a home away from home. Our main area for feedback relates to the host's detailed guidelines and the approach to housekeeping. We found the apartment came with a very comprehensive set of rules. Similarly, the weekly cleaning service, while appreciated, was more involved than expected. For guests seeking a more independent and private experience, this might be something to consider. Despite these minor points, the flat's many positives – its quietness, spaciousness, and suitability for extended stays – still made for a wonderful base for exploring Bologna and its surrounds. We would certainly recommend it, provided they are aware of the specific approach to house rules and cleaning.

My husband and I, and our two teenage children, spent three Easter days in Bologna for the first time, finding our way through the city, mostly on Irene’s recommendations. The flat has a great location, close to everything, but in a quiet street, with a relaxed local vibe. We felt at home right away in Melograno’s house. It’s very cosy with art on the walls, lots of books, and a small kitchen with everything you need. The place is clean and stylish, and the bathroom and bedroom is very comfortable. Irene is a very attentive host, and extremely helpful. I will recommend to follow her recommendations 😊 We did, and we ate only the best food and ice cream in Bologna. Thank you Irene, for being so flexible, kind and welcoming! We hope to come back to Bologna again, and would love to stay in Melograno’s house again.

Elisabetta's place was perfect for our week in Bologna on a language immersion tour. The apartment was complete with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay (air conditioning was very appreciated since it was so hot in Bologna). Elisabetta was super responsive whenever we needed something add the building and surroundings were very cute and quiet. Enjoyed our stay, we would not hesitate to book this apartment again!

Alberto is the absolute best host! We are so appreciative of how helpful and kind he is. He goes above and beyond for his guests and even picked us up from the train station. In addition to this, the apartment was comfortable, neat, and spacious. I know exactly where I will stay if I’m in the area again!

What a find! Sitting on the balcony here overlooking the church and the rooftops was fantastic. Close to the centre but quieter neighbourhood. We really felt at home here. Sara was a marvellous host- great communication and helpful advice sent. Highly recommend !

Armando's place is amazing. The place is new and has been built with quality products. The host has been very responsive and accommodating. You will feel at home right from the start. One of the rare places we have been and felt relaxing from the start. The vast patio is also a rare feature for a place this close to city center and that has a parking. I can't recommend more this place.

Bellissimo appartamente!! This was such a wonderful place—modern, airy, spectacular! Wonderful layout with two lovely terraces. There were 4 of us in the group and we felt like we had a ton of space, beds were so comfy, great water pressure, plus washing machine! Walkable to the best parts of Bologna. Mattia was a wonderful host, very receptive and patient with us. We adored this place and highly highly recommend.

Luciana’s place was perfect for my stay in Bologna. The apartment has a very comfortable living space and the location is only a short 10 min walk to the main piazza and many other attractions. Luciana was excellent at communicating and made me feel very welcome.

This apartment is set up similar to a hotel, with private bedroom and bathroom and shared kitchen area. It is incredibly clean and easy to get to from the train station. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

We had a brilliant stay here. Barbara is an excellent host, really communicative and helpful with great tips about local restaurants - and she provided lots of information to make our arrival and check-in as easy as possible. The apartment itself is great - clean, cosy and characterful - and a nice distance from the main piazzas. It's close enough to walk to the centre but far enough away to feel like you can escape the crowds and unwind at the end of the day. There are also some lovely shops and restaurants around the corner from the apartment with Le Serre, in the park across the ring road, a particularly nice place for a relaxed afternoon. Finally, the little terrace at the back is a lovely feature and a great place to sit and chat.
