Holiday rentals with lake access in Province of Sondrio

We had the best week at this beautiful home. We are so happy we were able to stay here and will definitely want to stay again if we can come back to Varenna. Innocenta was so kind and thoughtful, making us feel right at home. This beautiful apartment and Innocenta made our trip to Lake Como so memorable. We did not want to leave! Grazie mille ❤️

Yvonne welcomed us and showed us into the apartment. The apartment is well equipped, we didn't miss anything. The view from the bedroom and the terrace to the lake was beautiful. We also received good tips for excursions. Information material was also available in the accommodation.

The place and location were perfect. A few minutes walk to the ferry port, restaurants, train station, grocery, & swimming spots. The apartment was spacious and clean. Having a washer was a plus. The neighborhood was safe. We felt right at home. Most importantly, the communication with Daniele and Fabio were excellent. They even recommended us to take the Varenna Express bus from Milan for a hassle free trip. We highly recommend!

The house is charming and comfortable, ideally located. It is even better and more spacious than the pictures portray. The hosts were very helpful when my son got sick. And they let us know that the train would not be available after a certain date so we could plan our travel back to the airport accordingly. There is no a.c. But we had a fan for every bedroom. All of their recommendations are terrific, especially the closest restaurant, Locanda Cavallino. We ate there twice. And the view…unreal.

We had a wonderful time in Gera Lario! Gabriele was a wonderful host and gave us great restaurant recommendations. The house was stunning, especially with the balcony overlooking the lake. We felt very welcomed.

We had the best time at the lake house! Everything was great and we loved swimming in the lake right after waking up or just whenever we felt like it! Maria is super nice and quickly responded to our messages.

We had a very nice time in Kathryn's apartment. The apartment is well equipped for cooking and also otherwise furnished in such a way that we felt very comfortable. You have a very nice view of Lake Como and a beautiful terrace. The apartment is located above the village, which is well connected by bus, the bus takes only about 5-10 minutes to Menaggio. In the village, there are several very good shops (fruit and vegetables, small supermarket and butcher). There are also 2 good restaurants. The place was not crowded like other places on Lake Como. We enjoyed it very much.

A very nice, clean house close to the lake. Big rooms and a big terrace. There is also a lot of space to park the car in front of the house. We had a very nice stay. Thank you.

Very very sweet host and beautiful location. A bit of a walk down but the views made it worth it, really enjoyed our stay at Home Laghee!

This is the second time we've lived in this wonderful apartment. It is a masterpiece in the true sense of the word and is located in the hidden gem of Lake Como in the village of Riuzzenko It's a perfect match to the pictures. The historic village is very quiet and you do not hear the noise of cars because they pass through the tunnel The view is the most amazing ever. We enjoy sitting at the window every day and having breakfast or drinking coffee There's a small beach down there. There is also a wonderful hidden beach nearby There is a small grocery store upstairs with all the basic needs and you will find some local cheeses Alessandro was wonderful, understanding and responsive and gave us useful tips We will definitely always return to where there is beauty, relaxation and tranquility Thank you Alessandro

This appartement was clean and tidy. Windows and balconies on both sides of the appartement building. Easy walk to the nearest pittoresque village centers (1,5 km), two beaches near by, easy to park. On the front side of the appartement building one not so nice looking old construction building which has propably been like that for years. Otherwise very good appartement with the good price. 😊👍

Amazing views! Layout was perfect, well equipt kitchen for cooking, and beautiful pool and deck area. Host was nice enough to give us an hour in the hot tub for free. Pretty isolated town, had to train to other areas for activities, but the remote Dorio town was perfect for a getaway.

The accommodation "Sweet Memories" made our stay at Lake Como perfect. The apartment is very nicely furnished, absolutely clean and easily accessible. You feel comfortable from the first moment. Gravedona itself is a dreamy town – quiet, charming and with a wonderful view of the lake. We would especially like to highlight the hosts Carlos and Valentino, who were incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating. You can tell right away that they care about the well-being of their guests. We highly recommend "Sweet Memories" and would be happy to come back!

We stayed at Camillo's place on Lake Como, and it was absolutely perfect. The home was spacious, charming, and just right for me and my husband. The setting was beautiful - right across from Bau Bau Beach, yet peaceful and quiet. The location couldn’t have been better, within easy walking distance to Varenna station, the ferry dock, the city center, and plenty of restaurants and cafes. We’re so glad we chose Varenna for our stay, but choosing Camillo’s place made it even more special. His dad was wonderful - so kind, warm, and helpful throughout our time there. If we ever come back to Lake Como, we would stay here again without a second thought. Highly recommend!

Stunning views and fantastic hosts! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend it to any who are looking for a peaceful get away! Eleanora and Stefano were great hosts and communicated extremely well from the minute we booked 😊 We hope to visit again soon

Daniele’s apartment was clean, comfortable and in a great location. Easy walk to the lake , train and restaurants. Daniele was very responsive and helpful, would recommend his apartment.

We stayed at the cottage for 8 nights, mid end of August, and had a wonderful time. The contact with Marina, Antje and Andrea was extremely friendly, straightforward and helpful. Antje and Andrea speak German, which was very helpful. The place is very newly decorated and we loved the style. It is simple but stylishly designed. What you need is there and unnecessary things have been dispensed with. The hammer is the short path to a beautiful little beach, which is exclusively shared with the neighbors. Unlike the public beaches, you can also find shade there and can easily spend several hours reading and swimming. The small garden at the cottage offers a lot of peace and quiet. There were a lot of mosquitoes in our time. It seems that they are only there so you don't feel completely in paradise yet. Thank you very much for the wonderful time to you, Marina and team. We loved this little spot. It's near a campsite and you are right on the lake and have direct assess to the water. This little cottage in front of a lakeside path and you can walk to many excellent restaurants, as well as two grocery stores. You're on the lake, not on the street, so it was very quite. We were there at the end of September, so the weather was still nice, but most the tourists were gone. Rita was very welcoming. We had everything we needed. We needed two twin beds, and that's what they had. Everything was spotlessly clean, and it has its own pool which we didn't use, but would have loved too. We can't wait to go back!

I very much enjoyed how cozy the location was with my two friends. However, I did not realize how much of a hike it would be to the cottage as well as the fact that the upstairs could only be reached through the outside.

The accommodation is impeccable, very clean and over-equipped. It is off the beaten track and quiet, in a privileged setting on the lake (small private beach and beautiful hiking trails starting from the house). 10 minutes' drive to the center and the port, very good restaurants nearby (less than 5 minutes' drive) The host Marina is the best, adorable and very helpful. The + of +: VERY DOGFRIENDLY they are accepted everywhere, all the time. Everything was perfect ;-)

The accommodation is sufficiently large with a bedroom, a living room, a small kitchen and a bathroom. the location is fantastic with a view of the lake and a small beach is also in the immediate vicinity:) The accommodation was clean and the kitchen is equipped with all necessary kitchen utensils. we will be happy to come back

We had a fantastic time staying in Dervio at Francesco’s place and exploring the towns surrounding lake Como. The place is perfect for so many reasons, the location is great, right on a small beach with amazing views and a walking path that takes you into town. It’s a short 7 minute walk from the train station and 10 minutes to downtown area with restaurants. There are tons of old walkways that allow you to explore the area. We spent a couple days taking the train and ferry to Bellano, Veranna, and Bellagio (very happy to be in Dervio). We also have two small kids and found the place was great for families with crib, beds with guard rails, and a high chair, along with a playground that just out the front door. The gates were excellent for preventing kids from going to the road or to the lake. The best part was Francesco and his family, they are very warm and welcoming! We spent time with him, his father, aunt, and cousin and very much enjoyed getting to know them!
