In town you can fish, watch the sunset at the Potomac River, visit restaurants, or drive 5 minutes to the golf course (open to public). For DoD Cardholders it is 7 min walk to theater/gym/bowling. The Gardener’s Cottage

The Gardener’s Cottage is a short drive away from I-64, UVA grounds, Scott Stadium, the downtown mall, and Wegmans. It is located in the Fry’s Springs Historic District. There are several restaurants on JPA within a reasonable walking distance. It is surrounded by flowers that attract hummingbirds, gold finches, and butterflies. The front porch has Adirondack chairs perfect for lazy evenings and morning coffee. The back yard has a small deck under oak trees and a patio next to a fern garden.

Walk to the lake, hiking trails, the river, brewery & restaurants. It's about 20 miles from UVA in Charlottesville and from Yogaville & only a short drive to several wineries in the area. The covered front porch has a patio set for 4 to enjoy morning coffee or afternoon drinks.
