Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

We rent a very nice, newly furnished and cozy 30 m² apartment with separate bedroom. In the open living room with kitchen and dining area, there is a large sofa bed. The apartment has a separate apartment entrance and is on the first floor (no steps). The free parking is right next to the apartment. The apartment is located in the middle of the village and is easy to find. Just three minutes to the bus stop, 40 minutes to Zurich. We, the host family, live on the upper floor.

Located in the heart of the charming Old Town of Rapperswil, a 3 min walk from the train station, and right next to Lake Zurich (50 meters) with great lakeside restaurants, scenic lake promenade, and shopping nearby make our apartment a wonderful destination. Zurich is only a 35 min train ride away - every 15 min throughout the day and until late. The apartment has stylish furnishings, a large cozy double bed, a bathroom and kitchenette. The apartment with separate entrance belongs to a family house and is located at the village entrance on the route Zug-Ägeri (directly at the bus stop Spinnerei). In the nearby village center, you will find all the shops. The Ägerisee and the Schützen recreational area offer a variety of possibilities. Our beautiful accommodation is combined with an older farm, which is rather remote and surrounded by meadows with a view of the beautiful Glarus mountains. In this area, you can enjoy the peace and quiet. However, there are also an incredible number of sights and activities in the area. We are happy to help you find something suitable. The studio is wheelchair accessible and has no steps.
