Farm barn in the Black Forest

Surrounded by vines and at the foot of the Northern Black Forest is our beautiful barn. A place where families can relax and unforgettable adventures await in front of the barn door. Altschweier is a cozy wine village with great excursions in the area (Gertelbacher waterfalls, Mummelsee, Baden-Baden, Freiburg, Europapark Rust, Strasbourg). Donkeys, goats, sheep and chickens live on our farm. On request, we offer farm tours and donkey hikes.

You have separate access to the apartment via the garden staircase to the green roof terrace with a covered lounge that you can use wonderfully for dining or relaxing. The apartment is furnished with a comfortable 140 x 200 bed, a fold-out table with chairs, and a wardrobe. The kitchen, equipped with a fridge, oven, dishwasher, kettle, and coffee machine, is well-stocked.

Come and recharge your batteries in our tree house (not accessible to people with reduced mobility, miller's ladder) overlooking our miniature goats, our mini donkeys, our mini ponies, our pig, total disconnection but with very good network coverage (just in case) 😀. Guests can enjoy a real SPA on the deck of the cabin. ⚠️ The cabin is not suitable for infants. 20 min from Strasbourg, 15 min from Haguenau, 10 min from Germany.

Here, you are neither fully in the city nor fully in the countryside – and that is what makes it charming!

Behind the railway line (5-minute walk) you will find a small stream, fields, forest and meadows. Our granny apartment is in the middle of Urloffen. The apartment is located on the ground floor and was completely renovated and newly furnished in 2023. The access path and terrace were redone in 2025. Bus stop, bakery, pharmacy and grocery stores are within walking distance.
