The renovated cottage is a small 2 storey house perfect for 2 people, in a magnificent estate of 94 acres of chestnut forest, sublime experience for nature lovers, who want to get away from the hustle and bustle, wonderful walking trails, magnificent views. Natural small pool on the property but there is a sublime swimming spot at 9km. Bedroom and wood heater upstairs, bathroom, separate toilet and open kitchen downstairs. Private terrace.

20 minutes away from the town of Aosta, tucked in a valley indeed untouched by the usual touristic itineraries. This location looks like no other, reached through a small road across the woods inhabited by deer, roebucks, foxes and squirrels, drive slowly if you want to encounter them. The awesome 150 year old barn brought back to a new life by the owner - a designer that believes in respecting time and history - today has become a shelter where materials reign and live together.

"In the shade of the linden tree"... a nice modern and typically Provençal farmhouse, which offers all the comforts! A pleasant place to relax. The exterior features: an inner courtyard with pétanque area, a beautiful shaded terrace with a magnificent linden tree, a barbecue, a nice garden, a pleasant swimming pool, a ping pong table and a bar for your quiet summer evenings. The house is also equipped with a foosball table, books (adults and children) and board games.

The nest

Formerly called Arbec, our small stone shepherd's cabin was used as a kitchen and dining room. It was where milk was turned into cheese and bush, where the family gathered for the evening vigil with the neighbours , and where social life was forged. Tools,seeds, crops , were also stored in the tree. The stones of this small building are full of history and the thickness of its walls offers a feeling of protection, peace, conducive to rest.

Farm stay surrounded by nature

Right in the heart of the Drome Valley, our secluded house is two kilometers from the village of Saillans. From GR trails, it offers a breathtaking view of Les Trois Becs. Our agricultural activity blends with a rich nature and promotes biodiversity. The sheep graze around the house from October to May and some go to alpine during the summer period. We produce yogurt and sheep cheese during the low season.
