A charming, and beautiful cottage set within a courtyard in an idyllic ten acre woodland location. The cottage is every inch the beautiful setting for a romantic break away. The outside area of the cottage includes a raised platform & fire pit for your own use. Lucy Barn is a recently converted barn in center of the village. It is a "quirky" building finished in a unique style that combines well appointed accommodation with an industrial style. It is extremely convenient for the restaurants cafes and pubs and the large windows overlook the village square - ideal for people watching. It is super insulated with more than adequate heating. There is also a log burner for that "cosy evening feel". Ideal for a walking or cycling stay or a place to chill.

2 miles from Kirby Stephen, annexe to the main house with own entrance and use of garden in front of the property,a small table and sofa. own has front door and a small porch area . We welcome dogs to stay. Bathroom with step into the large shower and non slip mat available , a living and kitchen area with a comfy sofa, table and chairs and a cooker and hob ( no cooker extractor) microwave and fridge. A door leads off the living and kitchen area to a bedroom with double bed and wardrobe.

There are excellent links from the train station to Manchester airport, Leeds, York and London via Wakefield. Bus stops are close by (for Huddersfield and Bradford) and there is easy access to the M62 (approximately 2 miles away). Taxis are available from Huddersfield train station.

Accommodation comprises of living room/kitchenette, bedroom and wet room. Selection of breakfast cereals, tea, coffee, sugar and milk are provided to make your stay as comfortable as possible. A T.V/D.V.D player are for your use, as is a microwave and induction hob for light cooking. Comfortable seating and a small dining area complete the main room.
